I have a 2016 that I've had to get smogged twice now and both times, Alex was great. He is friendly, accommodating, and true to his word when giving you a wait time. This time around he took me in before he opened and I was able to wait in the cute, shabby lounge area. Service was quick, straight to the point, and affordable. $60 later (cash only), my car is clear to continue exploring the world. Thanks guys and see you next time.

I laughed at the way he pronounced the word "smog."…read moreWe were both standing outside the Morgan Hill Smog, both just shooting the breeze while Alex, the owner and smog-master-incarnate, was working on my new friend's car. That's how it feels here at Morgan Hill Smog Test: it feels like home. Next door to the shop is a section of the rented space that houses the baddest mancave (and I don't mean that as it's only open to men, it was just the first word that came to my mind) this side of the Delaware. I mean, geeze Louise! You could fit a HORSE in there! (I'm aware that many places could fit a horse and that this description isn't really adequate, but hey, you're the one reading my review, so, deal with it :P) The hang out spot is for customers to chillax, fitted with copious amounts of snacks (including a popcorn machine!), drinks, and various furniture to lounge in while you wait for your car to get checked for smog. I had such a great experience here that I actually ended up hanging out for an extra hour and a half after my smog was completed, just shooting the breeze with various customers and friends of Alex's. Alex himself is chill as h-e-double hockey sticks and I told him I would come back to smog my other two cars. A++ service and can't wait to smog again (something you'll never hear someone say!) Choose this place: you won't regret it!
