The employees here are THIEVES BEWARE! Not only was my truck stolen during the holidays recovered on Thanksgiving (Thursday)3 1/2 hours from where I live. So I was forced to have my truck towed by these guys, I was also forced to have it stored until Monday 4 days because of the Holiday weekend! When I arrive not only was my truck stripped from the thieves who stole it from me in the first place my Optima Battery was missing. When looking over my recovery paperwork the Officer who recovered my stolen vehicle inventoried what was there and not on my vehicle. And to my surprise my Optima Battery was inventoried as being present. This tow company not only stole my $300 battery from my truck. They were also going to try to charge me $170 for a Lien on my truck Like I abandoned my truck when it was stolen! They still charged me $500 to get my truck from them absolutely ridiculous! Bryan was an Angel sent from heaven. My boyfriend and I were a little too excited on our way to Coachella, we didn't notice our battery was running low on our Tesla. We ended up stuck on I-5 south at 11pm with a completely dead battery. The first tow truck that arrived couldn't get our car on the flatbed without the car being put in neutral. Finally, we got ahold of Gonzalez towing &transport. THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY TO CALL FOR A TOW "GONZALEZ TOWING"... I have Roadside through Progressive so I don't really have a choice as to whom takes the call for a tow this company was called out to tow my car and I have white leather seats witch the tow guy completely ruined he had something in his back pocket scratched up the whole seat and put black marks from grease all over the leather I could not remove it when I told him he got upset with me all this and he didn't even speak much English it was so frustrating!!! ALSO, I had called them at 2:30 and by 7:30 they still had not showed up no call no show when I called Progressive Insurance and ask where they were they said that they had already towed my car on the flatbed...WELL they hadn't so they lied!!!!!!!!! I called dispatch directly and the lady who answered was rude and unprofessional tells me sorry the truck broke down at the last minute this is after they told me that it would be there in 10 minutes needless to say the garage was already closed it was after 7:30 so they just left the car on the side without telling me the place had closed for the day!!!! Make Gonzalez your first call! It was Sunday on New Year's weekend when our wheel bearings went out on our 21' trailer. We were literally stuck out in the middle of nowhere, on Interstate 5 between Los Banos and Coalinga. Finding a flat bed to tow our trailer was proving impossible until we found Gonzalez towing and transport. Not only could they handle the tow but they opened their garage for us and made the repair so we could get home that night! We called our roadside service insurance company for our third blow-out-flat tire event on our trip from Northern to Southern California. They quoted $752 for two new tires, service, etc. Gonzalez towing and road service took the call to come rescue us. I wish I knew the name of the young man who saved us along Highway 5 in the middle of no where. He was fast, efficient, kind, professional and gave us an itemized bill that was over $234 LESS than our quote and credit card billing. I'm dealing with that discrepancy now. These guys saved me from my own hands and almost ruining my car! After driving all weekend up to the bay area from the OC and then heading back, I stopped in El Panoche (the blink of gas stations between Los Banos and nowhere on the 5 freeway) to get gas. I drive a diesel and generally I look for the green pump handles. but this time I saw a green button. Filled my tank and then realized before getting my receipt that I made the ultimate dumb blonde (from a bottle..) mistake-I PUMPED UNLEADED!!! I immediately called Gonzalez Towing per the recommendation from the gas station, who arrived within 20 minutes. Manuel towed us to Mendota, which to be honest I didn't know existed. The whole staff is very honest, accommodating and easy to talk to. They pumped all 14 gallons out within 45 minutes while I watched (and learned a little). Albeit it was a pricey mistake, they helped me out of a bind with small town charm. It was like having a family member working on your car! Because the family owns the business and I think the restaurant next door too. I'm glad they were on my side! Would highly recommend. read more

Best Tow/Roadside assistance in the area by far!!! So I was driving up to Frisco for work, in a larger commercial style truck with a coworker following behind in the same type of vehicle, when all of a sudden BAM, he hits a large pothole and bent the front right rim which caused it to go flat pretty quickly! We pulled over near the El Panoche exit and thought we are screwed! I went to the 4 local stations and not one place was able to offer an help, only a card...for Gonzalez Towing. Thank Goodness for that! Wow, what a lifesaver...I called ONCE and Brian picked up and was super friendly and wanted to help.(even though this was the evening before the Superbowl , and most people would be getting ready to party) I told him the scoop and sent him a photo of the damage...he said not a problem, I believe we can help out!! He was roadside within the hour and getting busy, his truck was on point and had all the necessary tools to remove and repair the badly bent rim. We were so happy and amazed how super friendly and professional he was the entire time and the cost was on point...he didn't try to rip us off or up sell anything! (which can happen when you are out on the road with very little options, he also had a spare rim on stand by in case we couldn't repair the damaged one). He was able to repair the rim and get us back on the road all within one hour, and he even texted later that night to check in and confirm we made it up safely!! Gonzalez Towing is a family business and they seem to spread that love along to us in our time of need....5 stars all day for these guys! My front tire blew out on the interstaye 5 heading back to Los Angeles. Was in the middle if calling a tow truck from Los Banos and the CHP should up, asked him for a closers tow truck and he gave me the number to Gonzalez Towing. They gave a fair price for the tow, a barely used tire and he changed it as well. Estimated time was 30 to 40 minutes and he arrived within the time frame he estimated. Friendly and helpful with everything. Being stuck on a busy interstate freeway in the rain is not fun, Brian quote helped calm me and I was in good hands. read more

We broke down at the Panoche exit and I-5. I called on a Saturday afternoon about 1:30 pm. He said he could tow it to Mendota but could not work on it until Monday. We would have had to spend the another night. No Thanks. I called Firebaugh on Sunday had it towed and fixed in two hours and back on the road. Mendota is very limited in services. I don't even want to give them a star, but it won't let me post unless I do. My son had an accident near Firebaugh, Ca. on January 21, 2018. He was heading north on I-5 when a car, coming the opposite direction, started flipping and hit my son's truck, which he had just bought that day, and flipped over his truck and demolished the passenger front side, then continued to flip into a field. Our son, jumped out of his truck, and ran to help those in the car. Luckily everyone survived, even thought the girl was helicoptered out and the other passenger was taken in an ambulance. My son fared well enough that he was left with the tow truck driver. He was driven to Mendota, about 20 miles away, even though there was a motel 5 miles north of the accident off of I-5. The tow truck driver had asked our son if he wanted him to take him anywhere, and he said, how about Fresno, thinking it was the closest to get a motel. So the kid said he would. When they arrived at the storage yard, another older worker said they didn't have time to take our son anywhere. Mind you, it's about 8:00 pm, the tow truck place was closed, and he is in the middle of nowhere. Then the older guy said, "If you give this kid $50.00 he will take you. So our son gave him $47.00 since it was all the cash he had on him. He was taken to the motel that was 6 miles north of the accident. We left at 4:00 am the next morning to go pick him up. We called the CHP on our way back and explained what the Gonzales Towing Company had done. The Officer said they were definitely going to call them because it's their responsibility to take the passenger to a safe place, otherwise the CHP or the Sheriff will take them. THANK GOD for this company... I drove from Vegas to LA to visit my best friend for her birthday and my car decided to break down in Victorville. .. I had to have someone come get me in victorville, spent the weekend there and flew back to vegas. Monday came and I had to miss work & rent a car to drive back to Victorville since AAA requires you to be with your car for a tow pick up (understandably so due to liability) Triple A told me that it was going to take 3 hours for someone to get there. I let them know that was not going to work because I'd had to rent a car to drive all the way to Victorville and miss work to do so. & needed to get back to Vegas to return the rental car ASAP! AAA said they'd call me back after contacting a couple more tow companies. I received a call back and Gonzalez towing would be there in TWENTY MINUTES! I was beyond happy and they would tow my car all the way back to vegas!!!! The gentleman who arrived was so nice and let me know that because the tow was so long they needed to switch drivers (totally fine & understandable). When I got back to vegas the mechanic I'd planned on using was closed so I called them and asked if they could deliver to another mechanic and they were so nice and did so without a problem!!! I just wanted to say THANK YOU so much. This company turned an absolutely horrible experience into a manageable one and I am so happy and would recommend them to anyone in need of and tow!!! read more
