He immediately got out to the I-5 south where she was located and towed her back to shop. He went and checked out the rest of tires and recommended changing out all but one tire as she just had a new one put on due to flat tire two weeks ago. We took his recommendation and he put three new tires on the car with sensors. He took it a step further and while test driving it he saw she had a problem with her turn signals so he fixed that at no charge. The price he charged us was extremely fair. Mike from AAA was so kind and took us here to get the tire repaired since this family owned shop is open the latest in the area. Juan was able to get our tire fixed and did such a great job on patch plugging it. If you need to replace your tires/rims he also has many to choose from but it's always good to just call ahead to make sure they have exactly what you want. Also, I wasn't planning on getting my windows tinted but Juan offered such a great deal; way better than the Bay Area quotes. The window tint he offers is a ceramic Solar Guard lifetime warranty with different tint shades to choose from. I got ceramic tint 5% rear and 35% front, my car looks 10x better! Lastly, Liz his wife has her homemade candles sold at the shop and they smell soo good, it's a must to get one either for your home, car or both! What does the symbol that looks like a harp mean, then a flash of low tire pressure appeared. I pulled over, turned on my hazards to think of a quick place in Coalinga to air up my tire. My immediate thought was "Take it to Billingsly". Now I had no idea how low my tire was, but I flipped a U and headed into town. I turned on my hazards again and pulled off to the side because a big cement truck was headed my way hauling butt. Luckily the speed limit in town is 30mph. Billingsly looked very busy this Friday morning, but I was grateful for the sun shining today and there was zero fog. When I got out to look at my tire, that shorty was low, low, low, low. . . Low low low. The owner was helpful & he immediately tended to me and guided me around to park. While I was sitting in my car, he jacked up the tire & took it off for inspection. Yah, I hit a nail and it was stuck on the sidewall. "But I haven't gone anywhere"! I exclaimed. Must have been when I went through the alley after I picked up my car after the detail job. He offered me three choices, economical, Cooper, or Michelin. I opted for Cooper, but he said, "Nah, you should go with the economical so they all will wear evenly until the next time you replace all four". Very nice. I appreciate his honest opinion. However, after a $500+ bill, 50 miles down the road the same check engine lights came on and we limped the next 100 miles to the Toyota dealer. They computer scanned our car and determined that the Bosch platinum tipped plugs you put in should have been iridium tipped. If you would have check your manual for our car you would would have known that. In addition, the dealer removed all the ignition coils and said that they were original equipment. So you didn't put in the ignition coil that we paid for. Now we are sorry for tipping you and the mechanic over and above the bill.
