The T shirt design, albeit simple, had very deep meaning and the short timeframe made it very difficult to find a shop to accommodate my dire need. Hiller's came through for me printing out over 30 shirts within a matter of days. The Shirts came out great and everyone wore the shirts with pride as they made it through the finish line feeling a sense of accomplishment but humbled as we knew the deep meaning behind the shirt related to my best friend who just the previous week lost his daughter after a 5+ year battle with Hodgkins Lymphoma. We dropped into Side Door Ceramic Gallery on a drizzly Sunday afternoon a few weeks ago, during a…read morelong walk up and down Alberta. It was small and lovely, a shop as well as a studio, run, as far as I could tell, by the ceramic artists. There was woman spinning a potter's wheel when we walked in, with a sweet little dog, recently rescued, napping at her feet. She was friendly and welcoming, and we chatted with her while we browsed. The ceramics were gorgeous--rich colors, pleasing shapes. I liked every piece in the shop. The prices were reasonable, and I was tempted to buy more than I could realistically carry back home to L.A. After a lot of hemming and hawing, and reminding myself that I never use mugs, I bought two deep blue cups that I plan to use as succulent pots. If you're looking for some beautiful handmade ceramics, check out Side Door. It's worth a visit even if you don't buy anything. The goods are nice to look at, and there's a cute dog who might appreciate a few gentle pets.

Got to follow through for mom!). I contacted about five local places, and everyone either else said it was too small of an order or they couldn't do it in time. One place said they'd do it and then said never mind :( Within a few minutes of reaching out I got a call back from Peter saying it wouldn't be an issue (with an understandable rush fee cost) and worked with me on the design and type of shirt.
