With all the customizations and a cappuccino with oat milk, I paid around $12. My breakfast sandwich was delicious. The coffee is worth every penny! Small coffee shop. When I went, there were no seats set up but they looked like they had space for seating and maybe they temporarily took away the seats. Either way, the shop was cute. And there was a cute outdoor space as well. I ordered an oat milk Golden latte which has espresso, turmeric, and honey. It was tasty. I loved that I could get my espresso and be a bit more healthy with the aded turmeric. I also ordered one of their bottled yet fresh green juices, which was tasty as well. Made a simple mistake on my girlfriend's coffee order since it's all the kiosk and asked to switch, and it was too much for the barista to comprehend. Made it a whole big thing and began yelling at me to not make a mistake next time. My order hadn't even been started when I asked her because she was selling her friend a scratch ticket, which they sell here. So switching it should have been as simple as "yes sir". Cold brew was definitely cut too much with water. The espresso was extremely weak and tasted a bit funky. Almost like the water used for the espresso was not filtered. This was a big no for me. I've never seen a coffee shop have such a great menu of modifiers-I'm sure others do but I feel like Americano goes the extra mile. Sometimes when you order online you can't add *insert something you need/want* because the restaurant/shop didn't upload their menu properly-not so with Americano/Toast tab-everything is there and again it's high quality. Recently got stuck at work and needed something quick-I tried the Turkey gobbler lunchtime flatbread-also ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. High quality stuff all around. I start most mornings with a cold brew from Americano. This place can not be beat. The coffee here is fantastic and the breakfast sandwiches do the trick. Americano has an extremely friendly and helpful staff + owner, are immaculately clean, and offer great vibes all around. The best coffee (and patio) in East Boston belong to Americano. It is hard to say enough great things about this place. Their online ordering system is super easy and awesome and their service is top notch. The owner here really cares about the shop and his customers ~ and it shows. Amazing coffee. The cinnamon bun espresso is fantastic. Breakfast sandwiches are amazing too, but they stopped using foil wraps recently and started using clamshell containers. Please bring back the foil wraps for the sandwiches! The foil keeps them warm much much longer, are much easier to carry when commuting, and the clamshells lead to condensation and soggy croissants :( read more

There used to be indoor seating but I'm not sure if they're going to bring it back. Living in East Boston, there aren't many coffee shops. After living here for 3 years, I think I only know of a Dunkin Donuts at maverick square. When we heard about Americano Espresso Bar, we were excited. THANKFULLY this place is exactly what we were missing here in East Boston. The place is sleek and clean with nice windows that open up to make the inside seating, outside on a nice day. The coffee and breakfast sandwiches are perfect for a morning pick me up. I went for the namesake beverage, which happens to be my order of choice anyway... Americano! The space is small, but there are a few tables, a sofa, and a flat screen tv. A small assortment of pastries is available but nothing special. They do have a panini menu that may be worth exploring. The service wasn't uber friendly but nothing egregious either. I've been really into checking out new coffee shops in my area and am so glad I came across this one. The atmosphere is wonderful, it's very clean and organized, and the staff was beyond sweet. I tried their NITRO cold brew which was absolutely amazing, and a chocolate chip muffins that tasted like it just came out of the oven.
