    Bottled fresh juices
    Ruth D.

Small coffee shop. When I went, there were no seats set up but they looked like they had space for seating and maybe they temporarily took away the seats. Either way, the shop was cute. And there was a cute outdoor space as well. I ordered an oat milk Golden latte which has espresso, turmeric, and honey. It was tasty. I loved that I could get my espresso and be a bit more healthy with the aded turmeric. I also ordered one of their bottled yet fresh green juices, which was tasty as well. Of note, when I came to the coffee shop, their is a tablet out front and that is where you place your order. The staff are around if you have any questions. It's a different set up but it works!

    Sausage & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich

Great coffee and good egg sandwiches. Spicy pepperjack is very spicy but makes such a great sandwich.

I'm a regular at Americano-it's close to my work. Great coffee, amazing breakfast sandwiches in a friendly atmosphere. The owner really cares, always remembers my name when I come to pickup even though I can never remember his (yes I feel much shame) Highly recommend the sausage egg and cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel-go for the cheddar it's a great mix of sweet and savory. If you like wraps the sausage egg and spicy potatoes wrap is thebomb.com I usually order via the Toast app for pickup-they've got so many options to customize not only your coffee but your breakfast sandwich too. I've never seen a coffee shop have such a great menu of modifiers-I'm sure others do but I feel like Americano goes the extra mile. Sometimes when you order online you can't add *insert something you need/want* because the restaurant/shop didn't upload their menu properly-not so with Americano/Toast tab-everything is there and again it's high quality. Recently got stuck at work and needed something quick-I tried the Turkey gobbler lunchtime flatbread-also ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. High quality stuff all around. Solid recommend on my part if you're in Eastie and need a quick coffee or a bite to eat. I'm sitting outside writing this review drinking my latte right now cause I realized that over the last two years I've never given them a review. Shame on me for that they deserve the recognition and any extra business that may come their way from my words here.

If this is what service is coming to, then I'm very disappointed. Ultra confusing and no explanations. I ended up having to get help from the barista and saved me ZERO time in the end. Coffee is just ok. Got the regular cold brew. Columbian, roasted out of house.

I love getting coffee here in the morning. I get the large black cold brew and it lasts me 2-3 days because it's so big and you can really feel the caffeine. I also got a mango smoothie here the other day. It was pretty good but very sweet!

This picture doesn't do this breakfast sandwich justice. It's egg whites, avocado, and cheese on a English muffin! It's so filling and yummy

Coffee and breakfast items were really good - 5 star worthy. Too bad that there is no possibility to sit and enjoy your coffee.

However it may not be the pick for someone who just wants the basic American tasting kind, and not really a dine in kind of place. I also got a ceaser salad and was surprised to see freshly shredded mozzarella on top, something I've never seen before in a boxed salad like that. Overall very nice, wonderfully made. I only gave four stars because it was a bit too tangy for my own personal taste, but I'm sure many others will find it five stars! *Also, regarding the previous comments about the pizza being soupy at first bite, I did not experience this!

I tried both the steak and cheese and the pizza. Both are outstanding. The steak and cheese actually is the best that I've had in Massachusetts, possibly ever, possibly better than when I make it at home. It was literally perfect. The pizza was excellent and nine out of 10. I love the crust which was crunchy and had an excellent flavor. Others were less keen on the crust because they thought it was a little bit too crunchy. It definitely was not burned except here and there which is kind of a Boston thing.. the cheese was good, it actually tasted like old school pizza cheese. The tomato sauce was not sweet at all, others thought the tomato sauce was the best part of i the Pizza, for some reason I did not. I don't know what I was looking for other than what was on that pizza because it was excellent. The service was incredible. The woman taking the orders was friendly and smiley and very much in line with the usual personalities you find in Everett or anywhere in the swamp area north of Boston before you hit the green grass of Stoneham. I thought that was remarkable because the place was jammed. I don't know how she kept a line from forming. It is definitely in old school Greater, Boston, mom and pop store. The entire front which was servicing about 20 people was about 8 x 10'. Pizza boxes were piled up on the counter handwritten scroll was all over the place explaining what was being offered. It was definitely comfortable. I will be a regular going forward, even though there is excellent Italian Brazilian in all sorts of other great options very close by. I highly recommend it. It is definitely equal to the hype.

As the name "Mercato" implies, it's not a restaurant, so no place to eat, no place to "do your business" after, and if you've made it to the north end, you already know there's no place to park. -- Italian Sandwich: Long, soft bread, kinda like the kind you had in your school cafeteria, only a million times softer, a million times more crackly, and a million times better. Setting the base are oil, balsamic vinegar, lettuce, tomato, pickles, hots, and provolone. Italian sandwiches usually come flat-stacked or in a C-shape. Here, it's a fluffy stack, with the VERY-thin-sliced-to-order meats-- prosciutto, mortadella, salami-- piled generously but delicately, like tissue paper. More oil and balsamic on the other side seals the deal. It's a glorious sandwich that'll fill you up with the first half, but you'll want to keep eating the second half, because it's so good. The deep flavors of the meats comes through, and that's soft, crunchy bread is a delight. Pro tip #1: Get it with a small side of pesto. Have some bites with, some bites without. Pro tip #2 (in more ways than one): Plan your restroom visit at the nearby Boston Public Market. Pro tip #3: Plan your eating near the Paul Revere statue on Hanover Street, at the basketball court down Stillman Street, or on the Greenway down Hanover Street.

I remember it loaded with chicken fresh off the flat top covered in a delicious gravy & mushroom's. Today I was a little disappointed because first of all my order involved no ham and no cheese . I suppose mistakes happen when you make it a certain way every day in and out since 1950's, that you don't pay attention to the little things like people that are lactose intolerant or allergic to ham. Reluctantly, they made me a new sandwich that had one itty-bitty piece of chicken in it breaded,& the delicious gravy. It felt a little light the second time around and it was reported to me that the lady that took the order and placed the sandwich in my friends hand had an attitude.
