Serenity made it very easy to get and stay clean. I met with the Dr. and Councilor about every weekday to confirm how I was feeling/how the medication was working. They stress that they are not keeping you against your will. You may leave at any time but of course the staff will try to talk you out of it because they truly care. It is the same as going to any Dr.s Office, yes you pay for your own transportation to and from, however all meals and snacks are provided. Meetings are held every couple of hours and your able to go outside after each group and meal. I love that they use a tapering system and they don't wait for you to be in agony like a lot of other places where you're ready to pass out before they will give you meds (i.e. Spectrum).

I have RA and none of their procedures would work as I'm at the point where my joints need to be replaced. They refused to take over my pain management from my doctor, which makes me think they should have a tagline with their company name "Advanced Pain Management Center (except for pain medicine) and I wouldn't have wasted so much time completing a huge packet of paperwork and the time going there.
