This was an enjoyable experience. They got my car in immediately and 30 minutes later I was on the road. I feel they did a thorough job!

I went to this place twice, and both times I scheduled an appointment three weeks out. Each time, I…read morearrived on time first thing in the morning and dropped my car off, only to call at 4:30 p.m. (one hour before closing) and be told they had not even brought my car into the shop. I was then expected to leave my car overnight, which was a huge inconvenience, especially since all I needed was a simple oil change and front brake pads. Despite that experience, I decided to give Automotive Concepts Inc. another chance. Once again, I was told I needed to schedule an appointment. This time, I specifically asked to be scheduled on a day that was relatively empty and explained my frustration from the first visit, including having to leave my car overnight. I was assured that this would not be an issue and that they would be able to get to my car since that day was "wide open." I dropped my car off on the scheduled day first thing in the morning and did not hear back from the shop at all. I called again at 4:30 p.m., one hour before they closed, only to be told--once again--that they had not touched the car and it was still sitting where I left it. They started offering excuses, but at that point I was done hearing them. I told them not to touch the vehicle because I was not in a position to leave my car overnight again. When I arrived to pick it up, I was met with attitude. The owner slammed my keys on the counter and made a comment along the lines of "sorry, but I'm not perfect." That response was completely unprofessional. This is a business, with a receptionist and staff. At the very least, someone could have called to say they weren't going to get to the car that day so I could come pick it up, instead of tying up my entire day waiting without a vehicle. My time is money too, and it was completely wasted--twice. If you know you can't get to a customer's vehicle or don't have enough staff to keep up with the workload, don't take the car in. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop.

They will call you and explain everything in depth, give you a cost estimate and get permission before they fix anything so you're never surprised when you go to pay the bill. I am writing to formally document my experience regarding a warranty repair on my 2020 Ford Escape…read moreinvolving the driver-side door weld/arm issue. I first brought the vehicle to your dealership in February 2024 for warranty service. After approximately four months with no communication from your service department, I called to check the status and was told the required part was on backorder. I then contacted Ford directly and was informed the part was not on backorder and had apparently never been ordered. After bringing this to your staff's attention, I was assured the matter would be handled immediately. However, over the following months, I repeatedly had to call your dealership myself for updates, only to continue hearing that the part was "on backorder." At one point, when I asked specifically which part was delayed, no one could even identify the part in question. Throughout this entire process, I received virtually no proactive communication from your service department. I was repeatedly told someone would call me back with updates, but no one ever did. I ultimately waited over a year from the original service visit before learning the part had finally arrived -- and even then, only because I once again called your dealership myself. I later discovered the part had reportedly been there for approximately a week before anyone attempted to contact me. When I finally scheduled the repair this week, I was originally told the repair would require 3-4 days. I made transportation arrangements around that timeline due to my work responsibilities as a university coach. After dropping off the vehicle, I attempted to use the text update system your dealership provided and received no responses despite multiple attempts. I again had to call myself, at which point I was informed the repair would now take an additional seven days. I also contacted Ford's national customer service line and learned there are warranty transportation assistance policies available under certain circumstances. Unfortunately, your dealership never informed me of any rental or transportation assistance options during this lengthy process. At this point, I am extremely disappointed in the lack of communication, lack of accountability, and overall customer service I have experienced. The repeated misinformation, failure to follow through, and complete lack of proactive updates over the course of more than a year is unacceptable.

They were immediately helpful and promised to check out the car and call me before I needed to decide on another night's stay. True to their word, they diagnosed the issue and called me within an hour. I approved the work and they ordered a part from a nearby town. They said it could be end of the day before it was ready but that they'd get me on the road that day. I was prepared for a long sit in the motel office after I checked out of my room, but shortly after noon I got a call that the vehicle was ready. When I paid for the repairs and collected my keys, Don said that they do their best to take care of out-of-towners because they know it's a hardship to be stranded in a strange town. The repair was perfect, and the new battery they recommended should be good for several years to come. I was home in time for dinner. You cannot beat that kind of service and kindness. Highly recommended.
