I was then expected to leave my car overnight, which was a huge inconvenience, especially since all I needed was a simple oil change and front brake pads. Despite that experience, I decided to give Automotive Concepts Inc. another chance. Once again, I was told I needed to schedule an appointment. This time, I specifically asked to be scheduled on a day that was relatively empty and explained my frustration from the first visit, including having to leave my car overnight. I was assured that this would not be an issue and that they would be able to get to my car since that day was "wide open." I dropped my car off on the scheduled day first thing in the morning and did not hear back from the shop at all. I called again at 4:30 p.m., one hour before they closed, only to be told--once again--that they had not touched the car and it was still sitting where I left it. They started offering excuses, but at that point I was done hearing them. I told them not to touch the vehicle because I was not in a position to leave my car overnight again. When I arrived to pick it up, I was met with attitude. The owner slammed my keys on the counter and made a comment along the lines of "sorry, but I'm not perfect." That response was completely unprofessional. This is a business, with a receptionist and staff. At the very least, someone could have called to say they weren't going to get to the car that day so I could come pick it up, instead of tying up my entire day waiting without a vehicle. My time is money too, and it was completely wasted--twice. If you know you can't get to a customer's vehicle or don't have enough staff to keep up with the workload, don't take the car in. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop.
