I moved my dad 3 hours from his home to an assisted living facility near me. He lost his hearing…read moreaid but I couldn't take him back to the VA in The Villages because of the drive. The VA will replace them but not for 30 days. My dad is Legally blind and with out his hearing aid he had a hard time communicating and functioning. Dr. Livingston realized the situation and went out of her way to take care of my dad and worked with the VA to solve this problem. She programmed a temporary hearing aid for him just to get him through the next 30 days with the ability to communicate again.
