While I understand office policies, the way this was communicated felt unhelpful and discouraging. The front desk experience makes it difficult to continue care here. I had to go to an urgent care instead, so I also made an appointment for a primary at the new place since even tho it was my first time there, I do not have to be established to be seen right away.
