I had several heavy things I was bringing and it was a long schlep with them. The party was at the water park. I couldn't find it but a nice employee helped me and told me to follow him. We had Funbrella A. It did provide shade. There were about twenty of us. I swam with the kids. I played Marco Polo with them. It was fun. We ate and two and a half hours into the party, it rained. The lifeguards came around to assist with a cart for us to load the things so we could leave. Four of them came around and were super nice. I am giving this park 3 stars because, and I know this sounds odd, but it just feels outdated. The water park area just seems ho-hum. Not exciting. The last time I was at this park was maybe forty years ago when I was a child. Everything looks the same! They do offer a raincheck if it rains within two hours of being there. There are no refunds. Park admission is $3 per car and the water park is $10 per person to get in. I do think they gave my friend the raincheck for our admissions, even though it was slightly over two hours.

There is no shade on the grounds so much of the time was spent standing in the hot sun. Waiting to get into an airboat was a bit chaotic and tiresome. There were shade canopies along the queue but they were not deployed for some reason. Staff seemed a bit disorganized, groups were confused on where to go and given mixed directions from staff members. The experience on the boat was nice and we saw a variety of wildlife. The captain was knowledgeable and spotted alligators quickly. The gator show was fun but short. The host Paul was funny and engaging, the entire audience was captivated. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Our highlight was getting to hold a baby alligator and knowing that our money was going to one of the only no kill gator rescues!

At first i was a little nervous…read morebecause ive never towed anything that big with my truck. we got the 31.5ft long Elite camper i asked Tim if it was possible to take it for a test drive,he was more than happy to help us out with that. we met up and hooked up my f150 and took the camper for a drive in the city and the highway. when we took the rv Tim help me install the stabilizer bars on my truck which made the 5 hr ride up to Anastasia State park a whole lot smoother and safe for me and my family. Tim was also there every time we called for the smallest and most annoying questions we had. He helped me out over the phone when we were heading back on how to properly hook up the trailer and stabilizer bars. i would have never gotten any kind of help like that with one of the big rv rental spots ,the one on one with Tim everytime we needed him was priceless!! i highly recommend Tim's Rv's if you plan on renting a camper!! My husband was nervous to drive the 30 foot camper to St. Augustine and Tim was kind enough to take him for a test drive prior to the trip to make sure he was comfortable. He took his time showing us how everything worked, he answered all our annoying calls during the trip if we weren't sure how something worked and always with an eager to help us attitude.
