Being one of the few food options near the hotel I was staying at, I decided to try this place out since the sandwich place I was trying to go to next door was closed. I ended up picking up a large (16'') Chicago Meat Lovers. While the toppings were plentiful, I guess I expected a pizza with Chicago in the name to be more like a deep dish style, but it was a fairly ordinary crust that was slightly overcooked on the bottom. The cheese also didn't seem to be particularly great; it doesn't pull as you would expect. The pie was also overpriced especially considering how unimpressive it was. As I sit her with my pants tight, my heart is also as enlarged as my stomach. I just got done the Thanksgiving Feast from America's Pie and once again they crush any cuisine they offer. I never imagined doing take out for Thanksgiving. We've always done parents or in-laws but as we know this year is different. Truthfully it snuck up on me and I messaged them the night before pickup (Thanksgiving Eve) and was lucky to sneak in the last remaining spots. The menu had a hefty amount of choices & servings in each category and the portions were enough for leftovers. Salad(1/2), Entrees(1/4), Sides(3/8). The entree category not only contained a large portion of delish and moist protein, it included gravy, dinner roll & cranberry. Considering that each meal contained 3-8 oz sides some of my family bartered for 1/2 side swaps. I was able to taste 5 of the 8 side choices by sharing and they were peppered with traditional tastiness beyond anything I could have whipped up during the craziness of a pandemic. One last perk was complete customization of each individual meal, no fighting over choosing the menu! At $25/pp it was a steal, I could have not provided that much varied food for the price let alone the time, effort and headache of shopping and cooking. There was even an option to buy extra sides($3) and 2 different desert options for purchase($5). We didn't get extra sides bc with 6 people we were able to cover all the side choices but you know we hit up both bread pudding options-AP specialties and a must when you order, beyond delicious!! The way America's Pies family atmosphere and wanting to cook for the community at every turn really helps alleviate the guilt of having the perfect holiday and all the tedious work that comes along with it. They help you get back to what is really important, time to be with your family unstressed and on budget and with leftovers to rehash all the fun you had and memories made instead of doing dishes!! Okay first off I love this place . Second off the pelle sandwich AMAZING ! So I had an issue with my pizza it tasted funny ,i called and the sweet woman on the phone got the manager, Sean , he was quick to fix the issue. I went back to pick up my pizza and he told me it was probably the smoked Gouda cheese I ordered because its good quality cheese that doesn't really melt well which sounded about right but I didn't think about that when I ordered . He made me a new pizza AND this delicious I think he said hot chocolate ? Or chocolate bread pudding. All the cooks in the kitchen and everyone working was so nice and welcoming they all said good night and sent me on my way when I left and it was just so warming , my grandfather passed earlier in the day and it was exactly what I needed from the bread budding to the warmth full goodbyes. This is definitely a hidden treasure, my husband & I tried this since we wanted pizza but don't support the place Scarrionos by our home . Glad we did the Buffalo chicken pizza was very good & constructed nicely.. only giving 4 instead of 5 stars because the cheesesteak was not the best very chunky not chopped meat but service was fast I waited in the car my husband when in & order. They said ready in a few & that it was he went back on 10-15 mins later & I asked him were they welcoming & he said the woman at the counter was very nice ! I have been dying to try the pickle pizza (Ruthie George) for a while now... They don't deliver to me and we live about 20 minutes away and I am 8 months pregnant with 2 kids under 2 but I finally decided to take the trip last night. When I got home I immediately noticed it didn't look the the pictures I had seen all over Facebook. I was honestly craving this pizza because of the reviews everyone has been posting. I guess they ran out of the homemade salt and vinegar chips that they usually put on top and replaced them with plain store bought potato chips. I am really not potato chip fan at all, but would have liked to try the homemade salt and vinegar ones because they sound like they would go well with the other ingredients. I was a little upset which is why I took off one star but the pizza ending up being really good. I took a lot of the plain chips off just because they didn't really go with the pizza. Unfortunately I have to order again and make the trip again because I really want to get the whole experience with all of the right ingredients on the pizza. I can tell that it would have been fantastic with those chips on the top. Will hopefully be able to make the trip back soon!! read more

We ordered for delivery and even though our order had a lot of different things (sandwiches, wraps, steaks, fries, etc) it was all prepared and delivered within 45min and tasted great. When you talk about little unsuspecting gems, this place is absolutely on point! If you drive by too fast you'll probably miss it, and that would be a disservice because the food is exceptional. I had the liberty sandwich which was a nice hearty seeded roll with age provolone, chicken cutlet, bruschetta. a roasted pepper Mayo sauce and prosciutto. Not only was it delicious, but it was not lacking for size. I almost was not able to finish it, but my body refused to let the little bit left over go to waste so I had to stuff myself. This place has an amazing menu, there's something for everyone. Their specialty wrap are huge and delicious-the best. We were "stranded" at a hotel close to the airport in Philadelphia. It is really a culinary desert if you don't have a car. Enter America's Pie! What a great place to have the best pizzas delivered right to the hotel. We tried several and found the Chicago Meat to be our favorite. Their salads were fresh and well portioned for the price. This place is by far the best food on the island and dare I say the best in Southeast Delco (if you live here the phrase "the food in Delco sucks" has definitely left your frustrated mouth. The first time my husband and I ordered I got the Naples and woah... it was a cheesesteak with Italian hoagie meats and a good blend of LTO for a really tasty and savory sanbo. It was really good but I was a little disappointed in myself thinking... ugh another cheesesteak and hoagie. My problem, not theirs. My husband, the anti gourmet, got the chicken Caesar wrap and it was epic... tons of flavor, huge and stayed together and came with chips and a little side of pasta salad. Now let's talk about the pasta salad... what's the secret ingredient because it is out of this world.... rigatoni pasta with olives, roasted red peppers, green peppers, pepperoni and whatever it is mixed with is sublime. Comes with sandwiches in a little sample cup but don't worry, they sell it by the pound. I see some reviews saying the place is pricey but it is so worth it. You would only get the same old that you have been eating your whole life for maybe a dollar less anyway. So please do yourself a huge favor and have your next takeout night here. However, America's pie was right near the top of my list of best pies I've ever had (100's of places, I'm a fatty) I had the buffalo chicken pie, which is risky I've found (usually dry at most places) But this place was spot on, and that's an understatement, not dry, not to floppy, awesome taste. I've ordered from here a couple of times for delivery. The last time they told me that they don't deliver to my area. I told them that they have before and he said they shouldn't have. Now months later I'm still seeing them available in my area on my Grubhub app. I have a friend who receives delivery from them and he lives further from me. What I love about this place is they are very unpretentious in their name and even when you go there. Very plain Jane. But when you have their pizza they take you to the place all the fancy pizza places wish they could go. The WOW this pizza is fantastic place. All pizza places wish they could achieve this.
