America's Pie is not just a pizza place, despite its name including "pie" and having some artwork that would imply that it is. Let me repeat...America's Pie is NOT just a pizza place, and while their pizza is absolutely wonderful, it is in the raw selection and quality of that broad selection that makes this place freaking outstanding. I have had the opportunity to order food from here several times over the last several years and they have one of the most unique "pizza shop" restaurant menus out there and even have a massive selection of tacos that you can pick from. I have had several opportunities to write my review of this spot, but it wasn't until I discovered something very special here that finally drove me to write my full opinion. My most recent visit to America's Pie was one born of laziness. Everyone at home wanted something different and we didn't want to cook, so we were simply looking at places that would be easy that we don't order from that often and landed here. The menu is so large that I was being indecisive and that was when I saw it...all the way at the bottom of the sandwiches section, what I have now identified as one of the top three sandwiches I have ever had in my life, and I've had a lot of sandwiches: the Tony Bourdain. A strange combination of ingredients, all delicious and savory in their own right, brought together to create a bread-borne experience unlike few, if any, that I have ever had before. This seriously is one of, if not, THE BEST sandwiches that I have ever had. It is not what it looks like, or the way it is constructed that makes it so good. What makes it so amazing is the absolutely mastery and command of the knowledge of the ingredients, the quality of those ingredients, and their interaction together on the flavors they will produce when combined within the very high quality seeded roll that it all comes neatly packed within. It is not a pretty, easy to eat and clean sandwich. It gets everywhere, and it is worth it. You SHOULD get this sandwich, for the culinary perfection, but also to honor the late Anthony Bourdain. This is definitely a meal that properly honors the man and his legacy. America's Pie isn't perfect but it is one of the best pizza/sandwich/pasta places in my area of Delco. Hands down. The specialty sandwiches really take it to the next level and that Tony Bourdain shoots them into the stratosphere. You will never have a bad meal here. They are local people making great food, with a local but very friendly attitude, and want you to enjoy everything you order. Explore the menu and check them out. I am a regular customer here. I go about once a week. I do takeout, but they do have picnic tables outside if anyone wants to eat on site. They have good pricing for good food. I always customize my order with substitutions and they are always willing to accommodate, and the two times I've had an issue, they have remade my order within a short period of time. I recommend their pizza slices, sandwiches, and wraps. The staff are always wonderful. The owners do a lot for the local community, they do days where they donate proceeds and provide free pizza for the local businesses. My company has also done hoagie catering with America's Pie and it's a great deal for great food. read more

Reviews said this place was good. I was staying close by, so I needed to try it to see for myself. They have 8 pages of menu items. I focused on pizza and sangawiches. I settled for the Philly cheese steak. I mean, while in Philly...... it was prepared in just a few mins. I didn't measure, but it was at least a foot long filled with enough meat to fill you up. I'm not trying to be critical, but I was expecting something fantastic. I have had better while in Philly. Don't get me wrong, the sangawich was ok, not great. I will try the other sangawiches next time or the pizza. The young lady at the counter was very nice and helpful. Thanks for that. The place is small but big enough for a few people to eat inside. If it's your first time here, look for the Philly professional team logos in the window. I missed it the first time passing by. It's right across from the gas station. I love local places so I always try to find them. Found this one for pizza based on the high ratings I had to give it a shot. I ordered a 14" sausage and pepperoni for $18.00. The pizza looked well put together and appetizing but the flavor was not there. Really just a bland pizza for me. Maybe it's the ingredients or lack there of that didn't do anything for me. Where to start. I've never been in the store but while in a hotel near Philly airport we ordered from them 3 times. Hands down the BEST sandwiches I've ever ordered. Fresh bread, tons if high quality ingredients and a fantastic customer service attitude. They're not ridged either. If they have the ingredients they will make whatever you wish. My wife didn't want a sandwich so they custom made her an eggplant parm platter. She likes broccoli Rabe. Again no sweat they put it in. Highly recommend this great place. If you love NYC styled pizza, this place is the place! The crust is the right depth, not too thin or thick. The sauce is the right taste and sweetness. The melted cheese laid perfectly on the dough. The crust was crispy and perfect. You can buy by the slice and eat away with a giant smile. They had a lot of deliveries while we were there and for good reason. Definitely not a place that was easy to see from the roadside while driving, usually that goes down one of 2 ways....thankfully it went down well! While perusing the standard options of Philly area offerings, and the places that everyone goes to, we opted to give this place a shot, as it had some rave reviews. This isn't a sit down place, and what seating they have is old school window seats facing the road and parking lot, akin to that of sandwich counter window seats - just missing the fun people watching. They offer a multitude of menu items, from soups and salads, to burgers and pizzas, and of course, a cheese steaks. Their cheese steak, with nothing else to jazz it up or to take away from the basics, was pretty tasty! 12 ounces of ribeye, sliced and chopped up and a healthy helping of cheese! A bit difficult to find but we arrived. We had no idea what to order but one of the men offered us a sample of the jalapeño crab chowder(soup). It was amazing. I loved it!! Just enough kick to make it extra primo. I can see why they are known for it. I ordered the Philly special. My husband ordered roast beed Philly. If I ever come again I'll order no broccoli rabe. There is a tiny 3 stool counter but that's it for seating. They do mostly delivery and pickup. The staff is helpful and courteous. We tried the Naples sandwich, half Hoagie half cheesesteak. This was a valiant effort but a complete miss. I think it was the hoagie's fault. There was a whole lot of oil and seasoning just overpowering everything. The roll was good. We talked about it in the video but the next day I separated the Cheesesteak meat from the Hoagie. Place does a ton of things *great*. I love a place with specialty sandwiches, and any place with a good, seeded roll. My favorite are probably the cheesteak eggrolls (buffalo, too), and they got my type of wings. We got a huge spread for a fantasy draft and not a single thing disappointed. So I went back the next day to try the pizza and went with the Ruthie George. All I have to say is straight banging! I don't usually eat pizza that has no red sauce but let me tell you for a pizza that is like white but is a different topped, this is a masterpiece. The pizza is kinda light and crispy topped with homemade chips, pickles, and your choice of chipotle ranch or ranch dressing drizzled over the whole pizza very very good. Let me not forget to mention their small pizza is the size of a large so be sure to share if you can't demolish anything on your own. I'm not sure what I will try next but I'm still curious about the rest of their menu cause I haven't been disappointed yet. First timer here! Was looking for something different so I found this place on yelp. It had mostly good reviews, some not good, but wanted to see for myself. I loved all of the options they gave for online ordering but was surprised they didn't have an option for onions on the chili cheese dog ‍. Oh well, no big deal. Ordered and the food arrived in the time frame they estimated...BONUS for a Saturday night! The driver was nice, the food was fresh, so far so good. Now for the food. I ordered the "Pelle" sandwich, an order of regular fries and for good measure...the chili cheese dog (sans onions). The Pelle was an absolutely AMAZING blend of flavors. The avocado was perfect with the smoked Gouda and toasted sesame seeds...this is seriously quality stuff at prices you could normally expect mediocre for. The fries were good...I personally like fries a bit crispier, and I'm not a fan of the chili cheese dog simply because the chili is more sweet than I like. But it was on a thick, fresh roll which if saltier would have balanced it out well. Even though the fries were just good and I didn't like the chili cheese dog, I'm giving 5 stars just because my issues are really just a matter of different tastes. The pizza is good they have a nice take on pizza. They must have 30 different pizzas Hand Tossed Siciliano, Brooklyn and my favorite upside down pie and all the combinations you can think of. Now with that said their sammy's ohmy gawd. I think they lost their minds so many choices. You see so many restaurant and bar rescue shows that always warn against overly big menus but they pull it off. The product is fresh and good consistently and thats key.
