I'll skip the story of their beginnings, but I just felt like I went back in time pulling along side a road to grab a bite to eat. Lots of shade trees, a converted shed into a kitchen and a large picnic gazebo/patio greeted me as I pulled up. (No bathroom on premises) Then I met Kayla (pronounced Ki-yla not kay-la) and Sam. They are nice welcoming, hard working people who made sure everything about my orders was right. First visit, I tried their cheesesteak with hot peppers. It was on an Amoroso roll. The portion was decent, flavors were good, little grease, solid melting of cheese in with the meat and the hot peppers provided just the right amount of kick and flavor. In hindsight I should have gotten the roll toasted a bit, but overall it was an average cheesesteak. Can't say anything bad about it. I ordered three pizzas to go the other day and they were tasty. The dough is made fresh daily. I haven't seen large thin crust NY slices in Delco before so that was a first. Couple observations, the pizzas are 20" so your slices will measure about 9" to 9 1/2" long. The crust was thin, crispy, had a nice light char and stood straight as an arrow. It's a little heavier on the sauce side which is thick, a little acidic with a sweet/spicy bite to it. I would have liked a bit more cheese to even out the cheese/sauce ratio. For $15 a pizza, I thought it was a good value, they do sell by the slice at $3. I will definitely stop in again to try their other offerings. Inside is cute, it's a small burger joint but luckily, it was not busy on a Tuesday morning so hubby and I were able to eat there. Staff were very friendly. We got the Zac's double with bacon/cheese and it was made fresh, patty was cooked to perfection, the bacon was crisp with every bite. We shared the spicy fries with cheese dip and I thought the fry seasoning was too salty but the fries themselves were crispy and delicious. We loved the cheese dip. There were specials today and one of them was a fish platter and it was just perfect and it was such a great deal at $5 dollars per order. The ambience is very relaxing and there are seats all along the back wall and they are super comfortable and easy to clean. The tables are sweet and lovely with flowers on top and there's plenty of free street parking. You can use your card or pay in cash so it's very easy.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a McDonald's…read more I placed an order at the kiosk for french fries and a frozen drink, selected table service, took table number 58, and sat down. After 30 minutes, I still had not received my order, so I went to the counter to find out what was happening. While waiting, I spoke with another customer who had also been waiting a long time. He explained that someone who ordered after him received a large $60 order first--and even that order was prepared incorrectly several times. When he politely asked a younger employee to check on his food, another employee came out and began yelling at him, apparently believing he had yelled at the younger worker. I explained that he had not done that. The employee then turned her attitude toward me and told me not to get involved in someone else's conversation. I told her that I had also been waiting and only wanted to know whether my order was ready. When she continued with the attitude, I told her to do her job. I then spent approximately another 30 minutes trying to locate my order. Because the kiosk had not printed a receipt, the employee initially claimed she could not find it and questioned how I had ordered. I showed that I had been charged through my banking app and had received McDonald's reward points for the purchase. After searching the computer for about 15 minutes, she finally located the order. She walked past me with an attitude, went into the back, brought out my food, and placed it on the table. When I thanked her, she walked away in a huff without saying anything. Waiting nearly an hour for french fries and a frozen drink was unacceptable, but the employee's confrontational and disrespectful behavior made the situation even worse. Employees should be helping customers and resolving problems--not looking for arguments. I reported the incident to McDonald's customer complaint line because this location clearly needs better management, customer service, and employee training.
