America's Tire has always provided excellent customer service. They offer free flat repairs for cars, trucks, and trailers. Free flat repair includes tire patching if it is in a repairable area. Tires eligible for repair must be less than 10 years old, no dry rot/cracks, and meet their minimum tread depth requirement. If the tire is leaking from the valve stem they will also replace it. Free wheel balancing is also included. Tires can be ordered from tirerack.com, shipped to this location, and installed. They do not have a installation deadline which is convenient and relies on the customer to schedule an available time. When I ordered tires it took me a month before I had time to have them installed. There were no issues with them storing them for longer until I had time to come in. There is an area in front of the roll up doors where free pressurized air is provided to ensure tires are the appropriate PSI. I've relied on this location many times for free flat repairs. On a recent visit for a free flat repair for my trailer, the associate was friendly, and fast. She replaced the valve stem in less than 5 minutes! read more

I came in to have one of my back tire check since my tire pressure light was on. Jonathan (I hope I got the name right) the guy up front helped me and also mentioned that both of my front tires needs to be replaced and he showed me the threads on both tires (I knew he wasn't trying to upsell because the dealership told me exactly what he told me). I love that he was able to give me a reasonable price for both tires and a reasonable time for the wait. They even have a way for you to track the progress of your service. Updating my review since my last one was from 7 years ago, I recommend making an appointment online or by phone or you might be waiting there for awhile. They allow walk-ins but certain services begin at certain times, I tried doing a walk-in for a tire rotation right when the place opened and they told me to come back sometime between 10:30 AM and 11 AM. Tire inspection, rotation and TPMS are free. I came in because my tires started to feel a little funky in December. Through the tire inspection, they found an issue where a nail pierced and made a home for itself in one of my tires. They were able to take it out and fix my tire. Good thing I went otherwise I would probably have a flat tire by now. Their tire prices are fairly priced over other places. When I need to get new tires I will be coming back and getting them replaced along with an alignment adjustment. I prefer this location over the one on Calvine because there is more to do around here while you wait. read more

I went in to check one of my tires due to air getting out. The salesperson "Julian" scanned the thickness of the tire and said he can't fix it. I then asked him to scan the other three tires. The tires were pretty low too. I told him i have America's tire warranty for the tires since I bought it 2 years ago only and on top of that I've only driven roughly 17,000 miles on them when the tires' own warranty was for 45,000. He just basically prorated all of tires and I thought it was great until I asked another salesperson about their warranty. The other guy finally took a look at the tire that was having the issue, he said I should not have been charged for that tire since they couldn't fix it so he gave me a free tire for it. It was great and all but I felt like why do I have to go through all the trouble of asking what America's tire warranty covers and not covers. They should do a better job if one of their customer have a warranty. America's tires' representative failed on this one. After that, I looked at the receipt to what I was being charged for and they charged me with the America's tires' warranty without asking me. Once I asked them to take it out, it took a while for them to do so. I felt like the salespeople's (new salesperson helping me) attitude changed completely. When the manager "Sean" came to override the transaction with his approval, there was no such thing as "hi" or "what made you changed your mind not wanting the warranty?" Is this how America's tires' employees are? As long as the customer is willing to pay for whatever they suggest and do then it's all good and glamorous? Maybe I'm wrong... read more

Been here several times and have always have had a good experience and quik service. Today I went to get a slow leak in my tire checked. I made an appointment online, which is recommend as sevice is a bit quicker than walking in, though you could as well, but may wait longer. The assistant manger I believing mjian i might got they name wrong. He was totally awesome. Checked me in asked about my service request and walked me to the car to check all tires and get quick info on the car. The service was free for a quick inspection and plug of tire for a screw in the tire. Wait time was quoted about 45 mim, but was done in 30 minutes. They text you when the car is finished for pick up as well as give you the option for printed or email receipt. The service is great here and the value of the tire company is reputable and acc I accountable. It makes you want to come back. For any type of tire service. Prices are fair and I was able to buy my tires through PayPal. Service is good most of the time, but last year they rotated my tires and didn't put my key for the locking lugs back in the car. When I came in to get new tires they had to deal with the locks and no key. I ended up buying a new set of lug locks for $30. Not cool. I've been coming to America's Tire for many years. It's so easy to schedule service on their website. Just create an account, select your service and choose the date and time that works for you. Pro tip: if searching for tires, search for cheaper prices online or other shops. They price match! This last time, I price matched from Michelin tires from Costco. I love Americas Tires but their process is broken. Today I waited in line for 30 mins to "check in" and another 20 mins to pick up my car after it was finished. It was a simple repair to remove a screw. I spent more time in line than I did getting the tire fixed. You guys need to improve your process for getting customers through your time consuming processes of checking in or picking up a car. The only reason I was only in line for 20 mins when picking up my car was because someone finally came out to the line of 10 people and asked if anyone was solely picking up their car. I was really disappointed by this location. America's tire is a great franchise and I've always had good luck with them. These guys literally have NO respect for your time. I dropped my car off. They told me it would be an hour and a half to two hours, I came back two hours later. My car hadn't even been touched. No apology they just said "yours is going in next." When they did finish my car, they never even texted me that it was ready so I was waiting around even after it had been completed. Edgar was great over the phone and in person he actually checked in the moment Marco had come back from initially ignoring me. The irony was he was checking in and that was the moment that Marco decided to finally help. When I got here it was empty and I told Marco that I spoke to someone on the phone about getting a rotation on my tires and he just pushed me off saying, "yeah then someone else will handle that" and he just walked away, leaving me to just stand there in the line for like 7-10 minutes until Edgar came in to check in on me, and as I said above, at the same time that's when Marco came back to me asking where my car was. He then took photos of the tire and didn't explain anything, which is when I said, "so, who was I actually speaking with?" From there he went into a semi upbeat attitude and said "oh well there's three of us working so maybe this person or that person" And I said yes, it was Edgar, "he was great" in regards to my over the phone conversation with him. Set up a 4:00pm appointment for 4 new tires paid in advance. Check in and get told to take a seat. After waiting for 27 minutes I get told they don't have all 4 of my tires they only have two. After checking in the back they confirmed they don't have them, but offer me more expensive tires. This is terrible customer service I asked why was I not called and told prior to my appointment and told they didn't have the tires? This was my second set of tires at this store, but due to this experience will never be back. I suggest everyone who values their time to not come to this store. read more

I got here 25 mins before my appointment scheduled at 9:45am. They were pretty busy and I was expecting to wait for awhile. I had my big dog in my two door 2001 Acura, who isn't feeling well with me. I left him in the car to check-in (didn't want to bring him inside with me because I was not sure of the pet restrictions). The employee that checked me in walked out to the car with me to check the odometer, and told me I could go wait inside with him. This was at 9:20am and Duke (my dog) and I waited outside on the lawn until 9:33am when we got the text that my car was ready. Mind you my appt was at 9:45am!!! Got a flat tire today on the way home. Was some sort of flat metal bar no bigger than half inch wide by 1/8th thick at the most. Tire is almost new. Hole was 2" away from sidewall. This tire was not purchased from Americas tire. However a patch would be enough to do it. They apparently changed their policy that if they cant patch AND plug the hole then they wont repair it. It thier policy used to be if its just patchable. Nothing about a plug. Several times they tried talking me into buying a new tire. It IS A NEW TIRE. If their previous policy of just a patch was good for years, now its not...what changed? Not the tires, just the policy. Clearly crafted to scare you into buying tires from them. They also would not put on my spare, saying it was 10 years old and legally they cant put it on. The manager, Andrew, pointdexter looking guy, told me if they cannot patch the tire, they wont beable to put on the spare legally. I said, well YOU cant legally put on the spare, but i sure can. He said not in his parkinglot i cant. I said how much of the lot do you own? He pointed far across the lot by trader joes. NOT true. All businesses share ownershio of the lot. Symantics aside, this was clearly just more pressure tactics. He said if i would agree to buy a new tire, they would attempt to patch my tire. He said its 5% chance. Well i could see where this was going. So while they had my tire off, i went and put my spare on. The gun and lugs were laying there after all. Car was of corse still jacked up. Ill be damned b4 they bully me into buying a tire or being unable to put my perfectly good spare on. He came out yelling at me asking what i was doing. He told me not to continue and im just going to do it anyways? Taken aback at this tire store manager basically yelling at me. I calmly said im not going to chance you guys being unwilling to patch a patchable tire and not willing to put on the spare or even allow me to. Basically stranding me if i dont buy a tire. As i explained this, i looked at him and lowered the jack. He stormed off. So i told him to get my keys and my tire whatever state it was in. And i drove home 1 hour no problems. Ill just patch the tire myself. I have machines. Just thought it would be an easy thing since they were on my way home. They clearly use the free flat repair as a way to get you in and scare/bully you into buying a new tire. I have been here many times with several cars. New tires from them with waranties. Dealt with other managers such as Marcos with no problems. Always supurb service. Andrew however thought i would be his bext mark, and he thought wrong. Andrew needs to be fired. Yelling at customers cause you cant handle your emotions is not a managerial quality. Unfortunately this experience will absolutely keep us from coming back, which we had planned on bringing our 1 ton dually in for all brand new tires...7 tires with a spare etc. We will not be recommending them going forward. read more

New employee generation lacking ethics. I had to check my own tires after getting my tires air psi checked twice. This place has a manager or company policy that is now enforced, to put your tire pressure psi lower than your recommended settings. Lower tire pressure will damage your tires your side wall, and have you come back and buy tires from the person whom damaged your tires. Note. They check your knowledge by saying go 36 psi or ask what psi you want. They should know by looking at your door. They will under-inflate your tires according to your response. I also had a rear tire with a screw in it. I told them this, and asked to check twice on psi. The first check shoulda told me I had a problem. The second check should have told me I had a problem, easily due to psi check variance. Fast forward to a few months later, all of my tires except the tire with the screw in it, are at the same psi. Which was 28 (30 according to driver door panel) and the bad tire was significantly lower. Endangering my life for profit. Not a very nice thing, you see anyone younger than 40 do your tires, check your stuff or buy a tire pressure pump and check the tires yourself. Not many stay employed for long; in a company lacking integrity. My tires did not have any cracks in the side wall. Now they do. read more
