I've been an America's Tire customer for years because of their service. Unfortunately their service seems to have fallen off. I went into two different locations in the course of a week & waited & waited in line to be helped. Screw that! I ended up walking out of both locations & decided to try Old Town Tire. I was even willing to pay more for better service. Donny greeted me immediately & no waiting. He gave me a few tire options. I then told him the brand/model of what I wanted & he didn't have them in stock. He said he'd order them in & have next day. That was at 3pm. He called me next day at 11am to tell me tires were there. I brought my car in at 12pm & they were installed in less than an hour. En route to my parent's house, my son and I were startled when we hit something so big in the road that it caused my car's center console to rattle. Once we arrived at my parent's house, I did a quick inspection to make sure that there was no visible damage underneath my car (thankfully it passed the test). However, on the drive back to my home, I noticed that the car was strongly veering to the left. Since my car has 60k miles and has not had a wheel alignment since I lowered it, I figured that this was the time to get a four - wheel alignment. Since the car is lowered with a front lip, I had to find a shop that did not use a traditional car ramp. After calling around, an employee at Old Town Tire & Alignment was able to confirm that his shop is equipped to service lowered vehicles. Since they do not take appointments, he told me to bring it in when I was ready. When I arrived the next day, I was greeted by Sanjeet (owner) who requested that I feel out a brief customer information form and took my keys. As my car was being serviced, I sat in the clean waiting area and enjoyed a coffee while reading. An hour later Sanjeet notified me that my car was ready. As I pulled my car out of the parking lot, I noticed an immediate difference. The smooth ride of the car took me back to when I first bought it (pre-lowering springs) six years ago. Donny and his crew are THE BEST when it comes to getting your car work done in the Sacramento area. Their location is VERY convenient - 5 minutes off the highway in Elk Grove. Very PROFESSIONAL shop with high end technology. Also a huge shop with top notch equipment. I went their early in the morning before work since I desperately needed my brakes done. Donny pointed out I also needed two new tires which I already saw coming since 6 months ago I had bought two and the other two were almost done. I left my car there at 8 am, they got my car done before 10 am. My Wife also needed an oil change so she got it done there too same day. My family lives 5 minutes away and I will continue coming to this place since the prices are respectable and fair. Donny and his crew are my new car guys and since 2018 I haven't really found anyone to establish as my "go-to car guys". If your car work needs work, YOU WILL NOT REGRET coming here. I know Sac has a huge car market with 100s of shops in every town but majority of these places either lack competency, communication with customers, or just simple customer service. Went here just for tire repair i got nail in the tire he told me it's going to cost me 50 bucks i said it's ok just need my car right away coz im going out of town after maybe 5 minutes he back to me that the damage was close to the wall and i need to replace my tire i even told him that is not close to the wall cmon man!!! Dont trust this place, sir told me that lot of parts on my car needed replacing. He explained to me how bad the condition was and how dangerous it is to be driving my car. Quoted me more than $1000 in repairs. I went and got a second opinion at another mechanic who was shocked at the parts I wanted to replace. The parts were/are perfectly fine. read more

I have trust issues, so I took my Camry to another local shop that I've been going to for years and is popular and highly rated. I wanted a second opinion on the diagnosis of my suspension problems. They did not agree with the recommendations of old town tire and alignment, and said I don't need to spend $800 on new control arms. They said I could use new sway bar links, but it's not essential and I can go ahead and do the alignment either way. So basically a shop that I'm very experienced with and trust a lot said they don't see the same issues, and I fear that means old town tire just wanted to sell me something that I didn't need. :( read more
