To anyone using Radial Tire of elk grove, I am pleased to write a positive review. On 4/17 I walked in to the shop after a few months of postponing my visit due to other circumstances. First off the price never changed. The tires I asked for were the same rating I had and needed. That said, the service was fast and efficient as one could ask for. I also asked about an upgraded tire that turned out I didn't need due to the ones I asked for. The results were from a short ride home of 5 miles superb. The difference in tires was amazing. This is due to the bad tires I had on. I had my shocks and struts replaced in 8/25. I had my oil changed yesterday and they said I needed both replaced because it looked like they used aftermarket material and they were leaking. There were also clamps missing on the front. This is incredibly disappointing because I paid over $1300 for this service and I have to get them replaced now, again. And got a quote for less than $400, which is disappointing bc I paid 3x that much to have them replaced in 8/25. read more

Took my car in with a slow leak on the rear tire. I had just left one of their competitors that said they would have to sale me a new tire for $400! It's a Porsche. He said the side wall was weathered and had some cracking? The tire is less than a year old! Went to Radial Tire of Elk Grove and within 30 minutes I was leaving having just paid $25 for a patch because they found a small nail. The young man that did it only works on Saturday and he was very professional and knew exactly how to dismount the tire from the wheel which isn't easy on a low profile Porsche tire which is much wider in the rear than the front. I feel like their honesty has now earned them a regular customer! I'll bring all my business to Radial Tire of Elk Grove now. It's so nice to not get screwed just because you drive an expensive car and they think you have lots of money. I had my oil changed and tires rotated. Then I hit my brakes my car would shake. Brought back in and it was my rotors. Fixed it and no more shaking when braking. Expect 3hrs to diagnose and fix for this service. Oil/tires rotated took 45min got there 4:15pm. They closed at 5pm. Perfect timing. Oh and I was missing 3 lugnuts one from each tire and they put in those and a new oil cap for no additional charge. read more

I called to see if there were used tires in the size I needed and was told "the total cost would be $70 and the tires are only a few years old." When I arrived I was told the cost would be $75, which is different than the price I was quoted on the phone. I informed the employee I was quoted $70 on the phone. I dropped the tires off at 1pm since they said it would take 2 hours to replace them. I told the employee I would be back the next day at 7am to pick them up. I arrived at 9am to pick them up and they still were not installed and was told it would take 30 minutes to install them (the employee could have called me to explain they wouldn't be ready for pick up by 7am as promised). I returned in the afternoon, picked up the tires, and was told the cost would be $88 for each tire including the massive $13 disposal fee! I informed the employee that I was originally quoted $70 for each tire... When I got home I noticed one tire was 7 years old and the other was 13 years old, not only a few years old as I was told! I returned the next day to have the 13 year old tire replaced with a newer tire. I had to make a total of 4 trips to this shop just to get my tires replaced due to inadequate communication and incorrect work performed. read more

I like to shop locally, do business in Elk Grove. I posted on Social Media a request for recommendations for wheels/tires shops in Elk Grove, preferably not chain stores. Three close friends recommended Radial Tires. The business did not disappoint. I went into Radial Tire of Elk Grove right before Near Year's Eve. I was greeted and helped by an employee who gave me the website info where they purchase wheels (wheelpros.com). The store has limited wheels on display and in stock, but order and delivery time is 1-5 days. The Wheel Pros website was easy to use and included a feature to show you what wheels will work for your vehicle's make snd model, how they would look on your vehicle and the ability to save and compare favorites. After a week or so of looking on-line, I decided on the wheels I would purchase. I called Radial Tires and spoke to Eli. I ordered the wheels, provided them credit card info for a deposit. Eli was courteous, professional and helpful plus represented his company well. Two days later, yesterday, Eli called to tell me the wheels were in. I made an appointment for 7:00 am today 1.9.21. The wheels were installed, sensors put back on and completion of the process took a little over an hour. It pays to be there early. My car looks great, Eli complimented me on my decision and said I had good taste. There is a large waiting room with ample, comfortable seating for social distancing. There's free coffee plus two vending machines for snacks and beverages. Excellent customer service as a walk-in visitor as well as on the phone. Thank you Eli! Called and asked about sport tires for a 2010 SI around 1pm, they said they could have them here by 3:30. I called to check back at 3:15, arrived! Nice to know they've been in Elk Grove for 30 years, I love established neighborhood businesses. Anyway, car was taken into the shop around 4 pm, they said they're short a couple guys but should have my tires done by 5pm (when they close) or a little after which they would do no problem. Really nice company so far, especially pushing past closing time without the sudden "omfg look on the face". Lol Found a mountain mikes within a ten minute walk and am enjoying their salad bar and happy hour beer. Better than waiting in a lounge for an hour and a half. Good year was going to charge me $600+ just for 2 tires. Hell no. I'll go down to my guys @ Tire & Wheel Mart of Fulton and buy FOUR brand now Toyos for 400. But my tires were so bald I didn't want to risk shitty arden roads. So stayed close to where I was currently and Radial Tire seems to be amazing. We like to go to local shops as opposed to the big name multi-stores. However, this is the LAST time we will do business with this tire store. We bought our second set of tires here, less than two years ago, and this is the THIRD tire that went flat because of poor alignment. Do they care, I think not. Beware. They don't do an alignment, nor do they tell you one is needed. They just slap the tires on and take your money. The poorest service we have ever had. read more

This business was our lifesaver today! We drove over the Sierra and got a flat tire from all the huge potholes at Lake Tahoe. When we got to the other side we needed help quickly and this business really came to our rescue. When we went there we weren't sure if we would have to buy four new tires to equal the damage from the one but they were able to find a solution that was much cheaper and they did it quickly and were so efficient and knowledgeable. Very nice guys at the front desk and the owner seems nice. But they were a bit careless when it came to fixing a slow leak on a tire. I told them I had at least 2 nails that punctured the tire and they said they'd take a look. It took them an hour and a half and they said they only found one puncture. I was surprised but took their word, only to find that they missed a nail. Went back and they confirmed that they missed it and took another hour to repair the tire. No apologies and no attempt to get it fixed right away. Made me wait just as long as the first time. Wanted to like this place given the glowing reviews but I won't be coming back. read more

A time when a person's handshake and word was more than enough. Honesty, integrity, and quality work. I had some work done years ago but, I have not been here in quite a few years. The same outstanding customer service and I cannot say enough about Israel, at the front counter. This business should be the model for customer service. I was there 5 minutes before they had my car in the back ready to change out the tires. And of course the owner, John is beyond compare there is a reason he has been here for over 40 years. He represents someone who loves his community and treats everyone with dignity and respect. He just doesn't provide a service, he provides an experience that customers deserve. After leaving this business, you will question other businesses and wonder why their standards are not on this level. All communities need businesses that care about people in the community in which their business operates. I will come here for the rest of my life. When you find businesses like this, you support them and treat them like they treat you. Talk to the owner for 5 minutes and you will know why everyone loves him and his business. He is one in a million and when you leave, you feel good. You feel like you got a fair deal, an honest deal and a big smile sweeps across your face because, when most of us leave auto shops, often we feel screwed. It nice to feel like you got a square deal. When I bought my new Tesla I was worried that they might not be able to meet my needs for tires since so many otHer tire companies refuse to work on Teslas. I can't believe I haven't been coming here all these years. Went in on a Saturday with a custom wheel/that was leaking. They took it in and said it would be about 45 min so I waited. Ended up taking over 2 hours but they had to do a on of work to repair the wheel. At the end though, the tech brought the wheel out and put it in my car. Asked him how much and he said no charge...for 2 hours worth of work??? While I was there customers were in and out and each person was being treated like family. Gentleman at the counter was extremely friendly, and seemed to be the owner. Mentioned he had been there 30+ years and seemed to know the majority of the customers personally. I can't believe a place like this still exists. Prices are very reasonable and customer service is amazing. Definitely the only place I'm going from here on. Friday late afternoon Im stuck with a slow leaking tire. My sister referred me to Radial Tire of Elk Grove and the Company was very helpful in fixing a tire that was leaking air. I was told it will take about 2 hours to get my job done. Mount 2 tires and an alignment. Informed 40 min later that the alignment is done and the tire mounting is left. Also informed me of some pre-existing scratches that were on my rims. I hate to say it but, "Thank you Big O tires for those souvenirs." My rims (Methods) were BNIB when Big O ruined them. Didnt even tell me they damaged 3 of the 4 until i realize it myself when i get home. Anyhow, my truck was done way before proposed timeframe. The waiting area is not too shabby with ample seats and AC. Some vending machines are present if you get a little hungry/thirsty. No gimmicks here but just good service. Thank you radial tires. Had a unfortunate flat which could not be repaired. Tire wouldn't​ hold air for more than a few seconds and so needed a place close to home. Called Radial Tire. Didn't have tire on hand, but could order and have next day. Just stopped by today as I couldn't make it in earlier. Tire installed quickly, but upon looking at invoice and tire, they ordered/installed similar, but incorrect tire. Major bummer. They quickly ordered a new one which arrived same day. Installed and on my way. Price was about $15 more than the big chain store. Overall, a good experience overall even with the hiccup. Would recommend for the service. read more

I wanted to take a moment and say how great Radial Tire-Elk Grove has been to me. The dealership said I needed new breaks on my Denali and I took it to them for a second opinion. They checked my breaks for free and told me I didn't need to replace them they were still good. I also purchased new tires from them and once rotated the first time noticed a vibration. I took it in and they balanced and fixed it free of charge. When I got my new tires I had a blowout in the sidewall a week after I got them and they came to my house took the tire and Tim replaced the tire and brought it back for me. As a woman I feel very confident in recommending Radial Tire to any women who is unsure of what she needs for her vehicle because they won't take advantage of you and it's great to support a local small business! read more

Brought my car here to have some used wheels put on. I had specifically provided HUB CENTRIC RINGS just for piece of mind. They told me one of my wheels were slightly bent and to take it to precision wheel works for repair; which I did; and explains the vibration at 70mph . They went ahead and repaired and balanced that single wheel. Still had vibration. I decided to take my car to America's tires to re balance all 4 of my wheels. What they said. " so 3 wheels are off weight by 1.5oz and I should install HUB CENTRIC RINGS" I said "what!, I do have them on there" they said " I'm sorry sir, when we took your wheels off, there weren't any". I know they didn't take it cause I was standing there chillin' while they balanced them and corrected the weight. Spoke to Radial Tire John, and told them, they said that it might be in my rim boxes in a smaller box. Nope, there was a small box but they were just the old nuts. Called back, he had left, so I left a message for him. So as of now, this is UNRESOLVED because I am missing HUB CENTRIC RINGS. in conclusion, I don't know what premature wear I could've cause on my tires because of this. If they resolve the HUB CENTRIC RING issue, I'll retract half my review, why, because they were still off on weight when balancing the wheels and tires. read more

I stopped by for an alignment. They said it couldn't be done and provided me with a laundry list of new parts my vehicle needed including an entirely new front end. They also recommended a new water pump and steering pump. All in all over $2,600 worth of recommendations because they not only wanted to replace bushings they wanted to replace all the A arms and other hardware. I went elsewhere and paid the $80 for the alignment I needed. I also had another mechanic perform an inspection and no maintenance was identified as needed even for my 13 year old truck. I *so* wanted to give them five stars, because I'm pleased with their integrity. I went in to have my brakes looked at, as they were squeaking while in reverse. They found that the breaks were still in good condition, and the rotors just needed to be dusted off. They completed the inspection and cleaning of the rotors and did not charge me, saying to bring it in for the next service, and they'll keep an eye on the condition of the brakes. The squeaking issue is not resolved, though. They totally could have made up anything and charged for it (or even legitimately charged for the time they put into evaluating and addressing this) and they didn't. That's pretty amazing customer service if you ask me. Which you sort of did if you're choosing to read my review. :-D I plan on bringing my vehicle back here when the brakes eventually do need to be done and for any other service on the car that I may need. In addition to their honesty, the guys at the front desk are very professional and pleasant, and there is a decent waiting area on-site. The *only* reason they get 4 instead of 5 is because of attention to detail on an unrelated issue. It was pouring rain today, and for some reason, they had opened the passenger side window and never closed it. The interior of the car on that side was soaking wet, including outer edge of the seat. I had to give a friend a ride right after picking up my car, so that wasn't very pleasant. I'm pretty sure I'll be changing my review to 5 stars the next time I get my car serviced here.
