They immediately assigned a team of 3 to 4 people to work on it simultaneously, while another staff member kept me fully updated on their progress. I was in, out, and on my way with four brand-new tires in just 30 minutes. The contrast between this place and big-box clubs like Costco is night and day. At Costco, even with an appointment, I've spent forever waiting in lines just to have my car sit untouched on the rack for two hours. As some others have noted, the flip side is that if you don't come with an appointment you can end up waiting for a pretty long time. I suggest picking out your tires and services ahead of time and making an appointment. I found this place pretty salesey; among other things, they suggested replacing windshield wipers that I had replaced only two months ago, and suggested replacing more tires than even the Hyundai dealership. My impression is that America's Tire runs a low margin operation, and one way they try to make up for that is with more aggressive sales tactics. If you are going to come here, I would suggest that you know ahead of time exactly what products and services you need. The quality of the service itself seemed reasonable to me. Extremely disappointed with my experience at America's Tire. I had a scheduled appointment with an arrival window of 8:15-8:30 AM and an estimated completion time of 9:15 AM. Shortly after, the store had a power outage, which pushed my window back to 9:20-9:40 AM arrival with a new completion estimate of 10:15 AM. That part I understood, since power outages happen. What I didn't expect was what came next. Once the new completion time passed, I was told they now needed another hour and a half, and I could clearly see on their screen that other customers were being moved ahead of me in the queue. When I brought this up with the manager, Luis, his response was that there was nothing he could do because "the system auto-prioritizes." No further explanation, and no effort was made to make things right. Nearly three hours past my original window, I still had no real answer for when my car would be ready, and management showed zero accountability for a situation that wasn't my fault. What a great experience. I made a tire service appointment over the phone and the gentleman that helped me was really nice and helpful. I had two tires ordered for my Corvette C5 Z06, and it only took a few days to get the special ordered tires into their shop. Once I got to my appointment, everything was super simple. I was in the area running an errand when my tire pressure monitoring system alerted me that my right rear tire was low. I pulled over, got out, and could literally hear air leaking from it. As luck would have it, I was directly across the street from America's Tire. I pulled into their parking lot about 20 minutes before they opened. One of the employees arriving for work saw me and said they would take care of me as soon as the store opened. By 8:00, there were roughly 15 customers and vehicles waiting outside for service. What impressed me was how organized the staff was. At exactly 8:00, about 10 employees in red shirts walked out together and told everyone they would help customers in the order they had arrived. They had clearly been watching the parking lot and tracking who arrived when, because they immediately approached people in that exact order. I was the sixth customer to arrive, and the sixth employee came directly to me. There was no confusion, no crowding, and no jockeying for position. It was extremely efficient and professional. By then, the tire was nearly flat, but the employee could still hear the leak. He used a handheld device to photograph each tire and electronically measure the tread depth, which I had never seen done before. He found a puncture on the outside edge of the tire, showed me the damage, and explained why it could not be repaired. He gave me two straightforward options: replace the damaged tire or replace all four, since the remaining tread was low enough that they would need replacement soon. I already knew I was approaching that point and had planned to buy new tires within the next month or two, so the timing made sense (to replace all four). They showed me about 10 tire options for my car across a range of prices and quality levels. There was no pressure, and I chose the option that seemed like the best balance of performance and value. I was helped by Dylan and his manager, Derek. Both were kind, polite, knowledgeable, and professional. For comparison, I had previously used a nearby Firestone location. The staff there were polite, but the location was usually understaffed, the waits were long, and the customer area felt worn down, with broken chairs and a television playing at FULL VOLUME. America's Tire was the exact opposite. It was clean, quiet, organized, well staffed, and professionally managed. With all due respect to other tire stores, this location is run more like an Apple Store than a tire shop. They kept me informed throughout the process, and there appeared to be at least 10 employees working in the front and another 10 in the garage. They said they don't match "clearance" tires even though they have the same tire in stock. Called Rula's and they quoted me half the price, mounted, balanced, and was on my way in 37 minutes. Rula's tires was a drive for sure but they won my business today. Needing to replace 4 tires, I got quotes from Tire Rack and Costco, then called America's Tire, as this place has provided the best service in the past. Their quote was great, but I was asked if I had any other quotes. When I mentioned that I had a Costco quote, they adjusted their price to beat it. I purchased the tires and set an appointment for Halloween. While driving on the freeway to work today, the warning light came on indicating 0 PSI for one tire. I immediately headed to this store, as I knew the tires were in stock and paid for. When they checked out my current tires, they determined that the sensor had gone bad. I decided to get all the sensors replaced, as they wouldn't charge labor since all tires were being replaced as well. So even without a scheduled appointment due to the issue, they were able to get me on the road with 4 new tires and 4 working sensors in less than 20 minutes. When leaving, they reminded me to come back between 5k to 10k miles for my free rotation and balancing. Thanks to the entire crew...especially Dylan. I came here after leaving the Discount Tire nearby, where they tried to sell me a whole new tire for a simple nail that was clearly repairable. America's Tire is only about 8 minutes away, and I'm glad I made the drive. First, the one thing they could improve: When I walked in, it took about 12 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. A couple employees saw me standing there and I was the only person in line, but no "hey, we'll be right with you" or anything. A simple greeting within a couple minutes would make the experience way smoother. Now, everything else was great -- especially Hugo. I had called ahead and talked to Hugo, and he was super helpful over the phone. When I arrived, I asked to work with him directly after the rest of the staff kind of ignored me. He was juggling multiple customers, greeting people as they walked in, directing other employees, and still managed to help me personally. The guy was everywhere at once and kept everything moving. He got me checked in fast, found the nail in my tire, patched it, found another nail in a different tire, patched that too, and rotated all four -- for free (since I bought my tires from their San Diego location). Hugo is seriously clutch. Professional, efficient, and actually cares about helping people instead of upselling them. Give this man a raise. Besides the greeting issue, the service here is miles better than the Discount Tire down the street. This is an updated review for America's Tire. I came in to replace all four tires on two of our cars. This was a hefty bill, but I believe that no one could have beat the price I got here at America's Tire. I was going to Costco Tires since they usually have a promo for Michelin tires. However, I didn't realize that the same promo is also offered at America's Tire. While Costco Tires does a good job with my tire installation, they cannot seem to schedule me until a week or two out because they do not have enough workers to service the demands. While Costco offers tire rotation and free flat fixes, so does America's Tire. This Lake Forest America's Tire is always busy from what I can see (I drive by here and there). Despite that, they can get me an appointment within a day or two. They are also so friendly and accommodating (letting me sit in my car while they do the tire change). I like that America's Tire offers a wide range of tires. While I got the Michelins on one car, I ordered Yokohama's for another. Dylan spent over half an hour on the phone with me just to run prices for me on a variety of different tire specs. He was patient and never pushy on anything. They offer certificates for your tires. This will replace your tire when it is beyond repair. Namely, if you have a leak in a spot that cannot be plugged, they will replace it. I think it's worth getting the certificate if you are spending over $200/tire and especially for those low profile ones. read more

Had to follow up with the staff multiple times to get an update on when my car would be serviced, just for them to tell me i still need to be re-added to the waitlist. Wait times are ridiculous even when you make an appointment. It's usually double the time it's stated. Wish they were more straightforward. My appt was at 11am for a flat repair checked in 15 mins early and when I check at 11:45am he said I was only checked in 35 mins. It doesn't make sense to make an appointment, and then be told 1 hour later that they can't give me an approximate wait time because they are behind. This is a recurring issue with this company because they double book appointments and they take in too many walk in clients. Appoints should not have to wait indefinitely because you over promise walk in clients and can't keep up. It's a poor business model and they have lost my business forever. There are too many other tire companies that won't treat their customers like this. They do offer a tire protection certificate at an additional cost that replaces your tire if it can't be repaired due to a nail, screws or other damage. I have been bringing all my vehicles to America's Tire in Lake Forest for many years now, and I have always been happy with the services they provide. But I believe the real test of a business is how they handle a problem when something goes wrong. Recently, I brought my Toyota Sequoia there for new tires. A couple of days later, I noticed one of the hubcaps was missing. I'm not sure if it was not installed when I left, or if it was installed, but possibly not tightly enough, and subsequently fell off. I went back to store to see if they had found it. I spoke with Shane and he could not have been more helpful. He was not able to locate the missing hubcap, so we concluded it probably fell off. The main thing is he did not hesitate to make things right. He immediately ordered a new one, and a few days later he contacted me and told me the new hub cap arrived. I returned and he installed it, and I was on my way. There are a lot of places where I can purchase tires, but I will be returning here when that time arrives again. read more

Initially I called to order two rear tires. I knew that for my Lexus IS 350, the rear and front tires are different sizes. I arrive and the ones that came in were for the front even though I had specified on the phone they were for the back and they confirmed on the phone. So that limited my options. Had two new tires put on rear. One had a flat pretty quickly. I was missing the pressure sensors on all 4 tires; they said they only had 2 in. Then later they said they had none in but would call when they had them in and would honor the discounted labor quote but they never called. Now I have another flat. Two flats with their tires after not having an issue before. Firestone was close by so I took it into Firestone even though the back tires were under warranty with America's Tire. Firestone said the tires are not a good brand and will immediately go flat if there is a nail or puncture. I was not explained that by America's Tire. Service guys were very nice. But I would recommend doing more research on the brands they recommend and going with the best brand rather than trying to save a little money. Their prices are good but I have now been inconvenienced on two separate days needing to take my car in immediately and had to be towed one of the times. read more

I've gotten tires here for almost 20 years and for many cars - Toyota Solara, Mini Cooper, Kia Soul, Tesla M3, and most recently for a Hyundai Venue for a repair. I was surprised when I got the bill and learned it was free, I've never had a screw in a tire before and needed a repair. I've been here many times to have the tire pressure and condition checked and the techs are always friendly and knowledgeable. Everytime I've gotten tires in the past, they always been friendly and knowledgeable and a few times were even able to price match based on a previous price I had. I considered going to Costco or driving to another location where they had my tire in stock but I was stressed out by driving slow enough on a run flat tire during rush hour traffic! They went to the other location to bring the tires back to get it replaced before the end of the night!! I don't have the words to say how grateful I am to Enrique and Derek. Big mistake coming here Came in to install 2 new rear rims and install 4 new tires Came home and never touched the car until i realized the front 2 tires were losing air Brought the car back found out they cracked 1 or 2 of my front rims during the install. Had to buy 2 front rims after that. Ending up not trusting them and installing the front 2 rims elsewhere. They left the tire stickers on a few of my tires They installed the wheel weights all crooked and ugly and not in a line They left the wheel weight adhesive residue from the old wheel weights And to top of it off when I came to pick up my car someone stalled my $100,000 corvette as they were pulling it out. Overall it was bad quality sloppy and most likely rushed work that led to me having to lose more money buying new rims. I received much more efficient and professional service than I did with the store in Mission Viejo near Saddleback College, where I waited over 2 hours, suffered a theft and several other problems at that location. I passed on the roadside coverage; in all my years of driving I've never experienced a blow out and doubtful I will with these new Michelin Defender 2's x 4.
