Here's why: [[HIGHLIGHT]]We initially worked with our first point of contact, Paul, thru email, who was absolutely wonderful for two reasons: #1 offered solutions and options, and #2 answered his emails very late at night due to our emergency situation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Well done, Paul! [[HIGHLIGHT]]2-stars is for Juan, the manager, who initially should have earned 5 stars for being timely with phone calls to set up the appt and for calling us with any follow-ups throughout the day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The reason for his 2-star review is because we asked ahead if we can retain one of our old tires with the best tread for emergency (we replaced all 4). Of course he said yes but forgot so after we paid our bill, he went to the garage to retrieve the tire, knowing one of the 4 tires had a nail in it. Well, guess which tire he loaded into our trunk - the one with a nail. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called right away the next morning and left a VM with the person that answered the lobby phone. I was told it was Juan's day off but he took my name and number and said Juan would call me the following day. He never did[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. It wasn't even on a wknd. I was expecting a call from Juan on a Tues. I made an appointment for 10am to have two(2) tires installed, nothing else. The tires were delivered to them in advance via their partner program. After 2 hours of waiting for something that should take under an hour, they tell me the wait is another hour. So three(3) hours to have 2 tires installed. If you are up to waiting hours for you car for a simple tire install, even with an appointment, then this is the place for you. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I will say the employees at the front desk were friendly and you can't kill the messenger, so not their fault but the manager needs to set expectations better in advance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] In comparison, I had 2 other tires installed at Amato Tire in Laguna Niguel last week and was in and out in under 40 minutes. I came in this morning trying to get 2 tires. The man took down my info, searched in his computer for the tires requested, and subsequently, ensuring they had the two in stock, quoted me a price. He then made me wait for almost 2 hours. After getting my car on a Jack, he told me that he was sorry b it the two tires weren't there. I do transportation for a living and I wasted 2 hours for a lot of ridiculous nonsense. He also offered me brake service probably to make up for the serious mistake. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I bid him well, he apologized in a half-assed manner and then sent me on my way.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I did a little searching around and after arriving at another tire shop, my car was on a rack within minutes, they did the brakes, and now, assuming everything comes in on time, I'll have new tires in about 20 mins. 1 star Woke up to my tire at 18 PSI and found a nail in it, so I went to this Discount Tire thinking they'd help me out. I showed them exactly where the nail was and the tire is basically new -- bought in March this year and only around 4k miles on it. Right away they told me the tire was "unrepairable" and that I needed to buy a brand new tire claiming there is no tread in my tires. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No real explanation, no effort to actually fix it, just straight to a sale.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I know what a repairable puncture looks like, and this one definitely was. I didn't feel right about it, so I left just said thanks ill meet you inside and drive straight off and went to America's Tire about 8 minutes away. They patched the tire for free, rotated my tires, AND found another nail in a different tire -- also repaired for free. They were busy and still had me in and out in about an hour and a half. Meanwhile this Discount Tire tried to upsell me a tire I didn't need. Definitely won't be coming back to this location. Edit: The repair was free for me at Americas Tire because I originally bought my tires from their San Diego location -- I would've gone to them first if I knew they had a location nearby. I caught a nail in my tire and started the usual hunt for a shop to fix it. Most places I called were either booked solid, wanted me to leave the car all day, or quoted prices anywhere from $10 to $40. None of it worked for me. Discount Tire Center was on my list. The person on the phone said they'd patch the tire for free and that I could just walk in, and that it would take about an hour and a half. I confirmed with him three times because I couldn't believe it, and the answer stayed the same- yes, free. Meanwhile, the shop literally right next door, Big O Tires, quoted $40 for the exact same job. Discount Tire Center won me that day and will certainly again in the future ( fingers crossed I won't need this :) ) The tire was fixed quickly and I tipped the guy because this kind of service is rare these days. I give this place 0 or -5, if I could!! I brought my car in to get tires and I was supposed to get alignment fixed. Amongst other things. The alignment never got fixed. Sometimes I wonder if anything else got repaired. I obviously noticed the tires got repaired because you can tell when you look at the tires . I took it to another location in Orange. They were also terrible. They almost killed my car by letting it run and run when I had told them that the fan is not working at the moment and needs to be fixed. Also, that location left a bunch of grease in my car on the handle where you get in and out above where you sit in the driver seat, so so irritated!!!! If you are looking for great service, this is Not the place to go. None of the locations that I have found near me in Orange County are good. Such a disappointment!!! read more

I had to get my tires replaced in 2024 and came here with my Dad. I got the warranty and am I glad I did! My work has a ton of nails and won't replace it or help with cost , so I've been here several times to fix this particular issue. Super Impressed by the team here! I got four new tires and an alignment fix about two months ago as a walk in- and they were nothing but helpful and speedy. Today, I got a nail stuck in one of the tires so I called ahead and I brought my car in. Juan and Victor were able to take my car in even when there was a line of people waiting. It honestly didn't feel like I waited that long. They fixed my tire and what I enjoyed most is that they weren't trying to sway me for my money. Had a great experience at Discount Tire near the Irvine Spectrum. Mike helped me out and was super transparent about pricing and timing, which made the whole process feel stress free. I was able to get in the same day, and the communication was solid from start to finish. As a veteran, I really appreciated how respectful and upfront he was about the whole process; no pressure, just honest help. They're also military friendly, which is a huge plus. I went in the Morning because I had a screw on my tire and the Manager JUAN took a look at my tires and said it was not reparable, I was like okay cool no worries. I'll use my tire protection plan from when I bought the tires back in late 2024 (tires are about a yeah and half old) he then proceeded to say that I would not be able to use the protection plan because of how low my thread is, which I knew it was total BS. A month prior I had done a tire rotation and I was told the tires were in good condition etc. (I work from home so I hardly drive the car). He then kept pushing for me to buy 4 new set of tires quoting me over 2K and kept pushing hard, like if he had a quota to meet. Anyways I ended up leaving because it was a total waste of time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]That guy has no business ethics or any care for customers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely not buying any tires from this company anymore. Also, don't bother paying protection plans. We came to get my deflated tire checked out, and the man helping us also recommended me to get all 4 tires replaced since they don't have tread anymore. The man who helped us, Ronald I believe, was super generous and found us a big discount on the tires. rtunately, I have to update my review of this place. I want to be honest--their quality has declined significantly in every way, from customer service to the quality of their technician work. I took my car in back in September, and they recommended replacing the front and rear brake rotors, along with some other services. After the work was done, I still felt shaking when braking, so I brought the car back multiple times. Instead of addressing the issue properly, they kept pushing me to replace my tires--even though my tires are still under warranty and clearly weren't the problem. When I went back for an oil change, I again mentioned the shaking when braking at high speeds, but my concern was dismissed. I suspected it might be an alignment issue, but they didn't perform an alignment until I submitted a complaint the next day. They finally did it, but by then, I had already wasted a lot of time and energy. I really don't like writing reviews like this, but both of these unpleasant experiences happened while working with Juan. You can check my car's service history to confirm what I'm saying. The fact is--I brought the car back several times, and they still didn't perform a proper inspection. In the end, I had to take my car to the dealer and pay extra just to get the issue properly diagnosed. My safety and my family's safety should never be compromised because of someone's lack of integrity in what they do.. read more

I had a really good experience. Victor was very courteous. As soon as I walked in, he assisted me. He then explained that they would also check for alignment. The entire process was super easy. I shopped around and their prices are very competitive. I could have saved a few bucks if I went to a different place, but the convenience and drive time would have made it not worth it. I bought the tire online and reserved a time. When the tire came in, they called me. This way I knew that my reservation time was still good. I have been in this place for alignment and other services in the past few tears. Got a nail in the tire in the past Sunday afternoon. Came to the shop asking for the help. The person in charge told me the tire was in bad shape that it could not be fixed. (It was a Bridgestone on my 2019 Avalon with only 37000 miles). I regularly take my car here for the Oil Change service. For a full synthetic service, the cost is $58.98 plus tax. The thing that bothers is the inconsistency of the total cost. I went back and check my invoices for each oil service in 2024. 1/20/2024 - $63.19 5/11/2024 -$ 63.19 8/29/2024 - $62.22 11/19/2024 - $70.22 When I asked today the reason of the higher cost for the oil change, I was told that due to the disposal fee. The inconsistency in pricing for the same service time and time makes no sense. I came in on 7/23/2024. The Ironman All Country HT tires are really thick and don't seem noisy as most would say this brand is. It's a comfortable ride for a 2023 Chevrolet Traverse LS. They are a lot better than the dealer ones I use to have. I had some Bridgestone Alenza A/S from the dealer and lasted me about 2 years. My tires are 255/65R18 I feel I'm like an Avenger like Tony Stark with these Ironman tires These are recommended if you drive on the highway a lot. I'd recommend these if you drive on the freeway to and from work since these are highway terrain tires. I drive from Lake Forest, CA to Anaheim, CA at least 3 days a week. If you want to save on gas get an economy tire. read more
