Wednesday, I spoke with Israel to confirm that the set of tires arrived a little after 3pm but they're swamped. Since my vehicle required to be towed by AAA, was suggested Thursday morning would be ideal. Here we are, Thursday morning. AAA dropped off my vehicle. After a little time in line, I walked up to the next Service Professional. After measuring the treads and identifying the defects, the staff reached out to Nexen Tires. I showed proof of date stamped photos with receipts. Nexen issued a 50% credit towards two new 195/45ZR/16 84W, thanks to Denon that worked behind the desk here, in finding the right person at Nexen Tires to bring this issue up to their attention. It has been over a year trying to deal with these defective tires. I was quoted 3 hours for the replacement. I was text a link to show the progress with my vehicle. I hung out at Cafe Orchid Cafe on El Camino Real for an extended lunch. By the way, they had an excellent variety of dishes and drinks. While checking intermittently on the progress with my vehicle, at exactly 2:30pm, the work for my vehicle was completed. It took me 15 minutes to walk back from the Cafe. Walked right up to the service desk again, verified my identity with my car, received the key, walked back to my car and drove off with THE BIGGEST SMILE any satisfied customer would do. Was on a family thing and tire pressure monitor has kept going on despite filling it up earlier in the day so we brought it in. Great customer service! I came in with a slow leak and unfortunately couldn't stay to have to tire changed. The attendant filled up the tire and advised me to come back after my class was finished. The staff was kind and able to work with me. I came back the next day and they checked out all the tires. Unfortunately the tread on my tires were low so I had to buy new ones. I had the tires for over 6years so makes sense. Due to the low tread they were unable to save the tire. The attendant showed me the low tread and walked me through the sales they were currently having. They seemed busy but were able to sneak me in. They nicked my brake pad sensor, but don't expect them to fix anything. You have a shop full a bunch of 20+ kids. They're there to sell tires. Customer Service is becoming a thing of the past. Excellent service. Friendly, fast, efficient. I ordered tires from Tire Rack to be delivered to America's Tires for installation. I tried to make an appointment online, but the earliest available appointment wasn't for another two weeks. I decided to walk-in instead once the tires were delivered. Dropping off my car took less than 15 minutes. I requested a complicated installation (move one tire into the space for the spare in the trunk, remove the tire from another one of the tires and don't throw away) but this request was met with cheerfulness and willingness. They even wrapped the extra tire that I wanted to keep in plastic for me so it wouldn't get my car dirty! The car was ready in about 4 hours. This was totally fine with me because I went back home (wasn't waiting at the store) and I was a walk-in so I expected them to service me after the appointments. Also, they texted me a link to check the status of my vehicle, and also texted me when the vehicle was ready for pickup. This was a nice touch! I wish all mechanics offered this level of service! Best place on the Peninsula to get tires. Service is outstanding, they have a lot of staff and lots of room here to put some new rubber in your ride. Unfortunately, they are so popular, that wait times during the daytime can be long, as so many people come here between 12noon-4pm. If you're in a hurry, I recommend that you make an appointment, but still allow for extra time as sometimes they get backed up by the previous customer(s). They have a clean & spacious waiting room, lots of installers & salespeople on staff, and the location is central to the ECR and Hwy 101 and easy to get to/find. Prices aren't the cheapest, I believe that Costco or Walmart is cheaper, but they aren't inflated (pun, lol) or that far out of line. What I like here is the service from the top down. The installers all seem to be younger highschool & college kids, but they are well-trained, efficient, and polite. They seem to take care of the customers cars, wheels, and tires. The waiting room has a good view of the service bay, so you can watch them work on your car. The air pressure check and TPMS code clearing station in back is free and also appreciated. Love this place, but so does everyone else, so it's always really super busy! For example I've been to Costco, where my appointment is at 10am and i am not out of there with the car until 1pm! Once the technician from America's tire took my key, I waited literally only 31 minutes (I timed it) until my tires were installed and all my car was ready to take home. They have free drive thru tire pressure check in the back. A+ operation. UPDATE: I brought 2 more cars in for lifetime tire rotation and balancing. The scheduling was easy and I got updates by text. Check in and check out is fast and professional by Elisio, the work is done in 30 minutes. I was very pleased and brought them 2 pizzas. I always use America's Tire where I live so I thought I'd try this location close by. Placed the tire order by phone on a Monday (while staying nearby) and was promised they'd be in by Friday. Fastest delivery of all the places I called. Got a call on Thursday that they were in. I was a bit skeptical I could get them installed on Friday since the gal on the phone said they were all booked up with apointments that day. I told her I needed to get back home (out of town) so then she stated they'd fit me in. I had to have my car towed there. Once it was dropped off, I stood in line and waited about 10 min. My car was promised by 4pm, 2 1/2 hrs later, and they met that expectation. They send you text messages. Also, instead of waiting inside, you can watch their progress with a link they send to your mobile phone. The only thing I did not care for was the attitude of the big guy at the register upon check out. Since I hit a large hole hard enough to flatten two tires, I asked if the everything looked good. He stated, " We are not mechanics here. We only do tires!" Okay, so if the axle was damaged or the part attaching to the wheel was, you'd just put the tire on anyway? His abrupt answer turned me off.
