I got a flat tire and called 3 tire companies for quotes. Tony from Millbrae Tire and Auto Repair gave me the best quote, best service on the phone and nearest appointment time. He said that they'd have to order my tire online because it's not a typical one they carry and that he'd call me when he gets it 2 days later. I got his call at 7:30AM, came in at 10AM and was out the door by 10:20AM. Very quick service! He did a check on the rest of my tires to let me know which tires will need to be changed out soon. I experienced an issue after leaving the shop where my tire pressure warning turned on in my dashboard. I called Tony, he said to come back so they could check it out. They checked tire pressure on all my tires and said everything checked out. Sometimes the warning can be finicky. He calibrated again and everything is working fine now. Fast service, friendly people - I'll be back when I need to change the rest of my tires.

Tired puncture master.. thank you for you work and advice....

I've been coming to this place for over 10 years and I owe them this review! Long story short, my screen showed the right rear tire has a psi of 24 (psi 42 being normal for my car). I know there must be a puncture in my tire. Went to Tesla, waited 2 hours and ended up "I'm sorry. I thought we have the tire in stock but apparently the inventory on the computer isn't updated. We don't have the tire". So they patched it up and put me back on the road. I was told to get the tire replaced within a week and do NOT drive over 75mph with the "patched up" tire. Tried calling Tesla Service, waited 30 mins and no one answered. So I called Tesla Burlingame again. The quote for 1 tire is $621.xx. And they recommended me to replace the rear PAIRS. I asked them if they can order them and I'll bring in the car and have them replaced. They said "no. You have to do it via the Tesla App". At this point, I got really annoyed as I feel like Tesla's customer service is free falling. No one cares and no one is picking up the phone. So I decided to give Millbrae Tire a call. Tony picked up the phone. I gave him the tire info and immediately he gave me a price with labor. $880 plus tax FOR A PAIRS!!! and they will be delivered to Millbrae Tires by 1pm that same day! I said Let's do it! I showed up at 12:30pm the next day, by 1:15pm I was driving out of their driveway with 2 brand new tires! They are efficient, straight forward, and most importantly HONEST! I would highly recommend this guys! Remember their names, Vadim, Tony and Antanas!

I brought my 2016 BMW X6 in after dealing with issues that another shop couldn't properly resolve. Po helped me with my wheels, wheel alignment, and TPMS without any unnecessary upselling or games. He took the time to explain what was actually going on, what my options were, and why certain things should or shouldn't be done. That isn't being rude or talking over customers. That's someone with experience making sure the job is done correctly and protecting both the customer and his business. Reading through some of the negative reviews, I noticed a pattern. Many complaints seem to come from people who either didn't read the fine print on promotions like Groupon or walked in without doing any research on what they actually wanted. If you're unsure, call the shop. I called Po multiple times before coming in, and he answered my questions every time. One thing I respect is that Po won't blindly do work just because a customer asks. If something doesn't make sense or could cause problems, he'll explain why. That's exactly the kind of shop I want working on my car. A good technician doesn't just say "yes" to everything. They educate you and make sure expectations are clear before the work begins. My experience was straightforward, honest, and professional from start to finish. In fact, I'm already planning to bring my BMW back for additional work, including body kit installation and other upgrades. If you're looking for someone who knows what he's doing, values honesty over sales tactics, and takes pride in doing the job correctly, I highly recommend Po and his shop.

He helps whenever he can, never upselling unnecessary, and always charges a fair price. Highly recommend!

I'm writing this review due to a specific encounter I had with Jared and Ohana at the Millbrae location. My uncle had purchased 4 wheels and tires From them a few months ago. Shortly after that he got a nail in his tire and had it dealt with elsewhere. Somehow one of the required hub centering rings got misplaced and he started having highway vibrations. He ended up going to another shop to deal with the vibrations they charged him a small fortune to rotate , balance and align the vehicle. During all of the "work" this other shop did. They removed the other 3 centering rings and never bothered to install them. Instead they half ass centered the wheels and over torqued the crap out of all the lug nuts to compensate for their stupidity. My uncle is a very kind and patient man and after paying to "fix" his vibration and having it vibrate and shake even worse afterwards. Instead of going back to raise a fuss. He asked me to inspect the vehicle. I immediately found 4 missing center rings and one wheel destroyed by being forced on crooked due to missing centering rings. At this point I was livid. I called the "shop" that took his money , lost his rings and ruined a wheel. They asked me to hold for 23 minutes then told me. "The tech is pretty sure he installed the rings. But he's not sure they'll still be there ...." Ok that's the stupidest thing I've ever really heard. Realizing that they were a dead end. I instead called America's Tire and got Jared. Jared listened to me kind of frustratedly explain that I needed a new wheel and 4 rings. He was kind , knowledgeable and efficient. He put me on hold for like 3 minutes confirmed he had the rings and a new wheel and he facilitated my being able to pick em up on my lunch break. On my lunch break I met Ohana who was also kind , knowledgeable and professional. She helped me get my parts and skidaddle in a very efficient way. Given that the so called "shop" that caused all the mess is the Firestone across the street from them. I'll say this. America's Tire is leaps and bounds better and more human and knowledgeable than the folks across the street. They took the time to help me fix the issue and they actually cared. I've admonished my uncle to steer clear of Firestone and to only go to Americas tire as a result of these two distinctly different interactions. Jared. Ohana. Thanks for keeping it real and thanks for helping me take care of my family. Good on you !!

The same service woman who had helped me initially looked dumbfounded and said she will tell a technician to get right on it. It took another 45 minutes to get it done. I still tipped the technician but a lot of my time was wasted. Despite being free, I'd rather pay a local tire guy $35 to get it done in 15-20 minutes. On top of that, the repaired tire was overinflated. WTH. Never again. Waste of my time.

I was happy with the fast service and excited about my new wheels. To my fault, I took a back angle photo of the back right tire then left. Fast forward a week and not using my truck, I washed it. When I got to my wheels, I used a sponge and car soap. I see a black oily substance and scratches on the center area of one wheel. I inspected the last 3 and find all the same marks. I called Hanlon's and they told me to send photos. I did and had to call back over 30 minutes later to get a response. I was told by Rob, "the manager", that he would get back to me on the following Monday. Of course, he didn't and I had to call back. He told me he would get back to me the next day. Tuesday, 3 days after the initial call, I am given the "he's on lunch" excuse for the second time. I called again and I'm out on hold for 13 minutes and 22 seconds. Rob proceeds to say it wasn't their fault according to an online service "specialist". I then told him I'm coming in. As I drive in, I felt the hostility of 3 of his workers surrounding my truck, probably trying to justify their work was good and it wasn't them. Rob used a flashlight and inspected a couple of the wheels and proceeded to deny it. He showed me a paper of an email of someone else's wheel that was scratched and said "see, this is how our machine would've scratched them". If you're the only shop to touch my BRAND NEW $2000 WHEELS, and there's scratches on all 4 wheels in consistent locations, how can you deny my claim? Three out of 4 boxes were sealed. Long story and you've probably moved on from my review already, but think twice before going to Hanlon's. Rob has my number and he has the opportunity to correct his mistake. However he sees fit on a settlement, I'm all ears. He mentioned "refurbish" on the phone and I'm not refurbishing my brand new wheels. I support small business and local shops, but he just made me want to go commercial from now on. See you soon, America's Tire. Below are photos of 4 separate wheels with CONSISTENT markings. There was a black oily substance on them but I cleaned it off when I washed the truck. He also blamed the car wash for it

Terrible Service - They Destroyed My Tire and Lied About It…read more I got a nail in my tire with only minor air leakage, so I brought my car to to Hanlon's Tire Service expecting a simple fix. Instead, they completely destroyed my tire during the repair process, leaving a massive hole--about 7 inches long. To make matters worse, they tried to lie and blame it on a "manufacturer defect." My car is only a year old, and the tires were practically new, so that excuse was both ridiculous and dishonest. Because of their incompetence, I had to hire a tow truck to take my car to a Mercedes service center. There, I had to pay nearly $600 for a brand-new tire. After thoroughly inspecting the damaged tire, the Mercedes technicians confirmed there was absolutely no manufacturer defect--the previous repair shop had simply ruined it. Despite all this, Hanlon's Tire Service refused to take responsibility or reimburse me for the damage they caused. They promised the owner would contact me, but he never did. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Their lack of professionalism, dishonesty, and refusal to take accountability is beyond frustrating. Beware - take your car somewhere else if you value your time and money.
