I have to say I'm extremely disappointed with this location. I thought we were passed the days when a man had to go to the automotive or tire store with his wife so she wouldn't get ripped off. Sadly, we aren't. My wife was a victim of this old practice and sexism. Trying to play her and overcharge her because she didn't know better. To start we go to American tire in Moreno Valley all the time. They give us top-notch quality treatment. I never have to worry about someone trying to hustle my wife. My wife realized her tires were bad this past Saturday and she was in Riverside so she brought them to this location. The guy told her she would need to replace two tired and they wouldn't be under warranty because of the number of miles we've driven since the last time we purchased the tires. Then he proceeded to act like he was hooking my wife up and gave her a $300 discount for no reason. Knocking the price from $900 to $600. Mind you we've been using them forever and we have insurance on all of our tires. The minute she came home I told her that was total bs and I would deal with it when we went in to pick them up today. I came down with something and my wife had to go at it on her own. The person she dealt with today agreed that the reason behind them charging her was completely false. The mileage thing shouldn't have factored in and that the tires should last at least 40k miles. We had only driven about 15k - 25k on those tires. He said the tires would determine if the insurance covered them or not and that someone had already picked up the old tires so they weren't able to look at them. In addition, the first guy that my wife felt with wouldn't be back for 3 weeks because he's on vacation. Seems like a lot of circumstances and coincidences lined up in your favor. Today the guy agreed that my wife had reason to wonder and she was originally misled. You'd think he would take care of the problem right? Nope! Instead, he proceeded to try to play my wife and hustle Herr further. He said he felt wrong about what happened and that he would eat the price of 1 tire and only charge us for the other. Then proceeded to give her a total of $500. He removed the other guy's dicount. Marked them back up to full price and then charged us for one. Again I'm outraged that these things still happen in this day and age. Extremely disappointed. read more

So I got tires installed here not too long ago and thought it was strange that the car was riding a little stiff afterward. I got low profile max performance summers, but they shouldn't be THAT stiff. I was checking tire pressure prior to a long drive and guess what... While one side of the car was was at or near recommended pressure (38psi) the other side was 45 psi (!) and 61 psi (!!!). They also managed to lose 3 out of the 4 valve stem caps I had on the car. While I'm slightly mad about the caps I'm VERY mad about the 61psi tire. That's downright dangerous and could have very easily been a highway blowout. I cannot recommend this kind of shoddy and dangerous work. read more

I can't say enough good things about this company, specifically this location. Today is the second time I am using them as a go to (shame on me for not reviewing the first time) . The first time I stopped on for a bubbles on 2 separate tires, the guys checked me in super fast. Right away, they let me know the tires were in need of replacing. I wasn't completely sure as I'm not too knowledgeable about cars in general. The guys quoted me at first what it would cost to replace 2 tires, then gave me the overall price for replacing all of them. The gentleman helping me did not push me to buy all 4 just to make a sale. I truly felt taken care of, and at the end of the day, went with replacing all 4. They were so genuinely friendly, and real efficient. Was in and out within 2 hours as they had quite a few people waiting on their vehicle. Fast forward to today. My sister in law was in desperate need of replacing 3 tires as she blew out all 3 at the same time late last night. I came in to get a quote first thing this morning, and The gentleman assisting me gave an extremely fair quote, was so kind, and set me up with an appointment to bring the car back. Good for the most part. My husband took my car for new tires on Saturday, 4/20, in and out in less than an hour. Sunday, didn't go anywhere; Monday, as I drive my kids to school, my low air light comes on. I mean really? They didn't put air in my tires?? C'mon, that's part of the service. I have been coming to this location for years. The employees are always very respectful and courteous. They are very descriptive about the tread on your tires and will show you your current tread and how it lines up with the safety requirements and parameters for how tires should be. They don't try and upsell you. They give you all of the options available and they get the job done in a timely manner. I personally would recommend getting the insurance certificates on each tire as I have used it probably about six times and for about $10 extra a tire it is one of the only realistic extended warranties that I have ever been able to use read more

While fixing the flat, they found a nail in another tire, as well. They not only saved me another visit down the road, but a possible blowout while driving. Tpms light was on probably 6 months ago. My mom went and they said all tpms battery was low. So they replaced all. I decided to see if i still have the tpms (that i asked for back) and scanned all of them and low and behold only 1 is low on battery. Ask to look at the scan tool! Dont be tricked. I made an appointment for a flat repair for 945 am and I checked in and I was told an estimated of 1 hour being after Xmas. I walked around the shopping center and came back and saw my car was still in the parking lot and hasn't been pulled into the bay. I waited about 10 mins and still nothing but then saw someone that checked in after me had gotten their car serviced already so I went to go inquiry about my vehicle. Come to find out the rep checked me in as a walk in.... geesh! My vehicle eventually got serviced but what a BS experience again at this location. I still don't fully trust this location after they stripped my lug nut but had no choice to come here since I couldn't drive on the freeway on a doughnut. I still love America's Tire but I need to change my five star rating to four stars. Over the last few years the TV was removed from the waiting room so I can no longer watch football while my car is being serviced. The Keurig machine with K-Cups has been replaced with a regular coffee dispenser and the men's restroom is routinely out of order. I recently had an issue with my air pressure sensors in which I had to make four visits for resolution of the same issue. I will not buy tires anywhere else. The customer service is top notch, The free flat fix and free air pressure check is an awesome service. You can have your tires re-balanced and rotated for free with purchase of tires. They will also price match tires are cheaper somewhere else. Four stars! read more

I bought a replacement sports tire for my new car from them because they were the cheapest in town. Cheaper is not always better. After they replaced the tire, my car would shake if I drove over 65mph. My car displays the tire pressure of each tire in real-time (it can't be manually reset). I noticed that the tires were all overinflated by 5 to 10psi. No big deal. I manually set the pressure to what it should be, but the car still shook. I brought the car back to them and explained the tire pressure and the car shaking, and they said it might be the wheels need balancing. This is a brand new car, so there's no other explanation. They admitted to improperly balancing them the first time and would fix it for free. After "fixing" the issue they created, the car was returned to me with each tire being at the wrong psi AGAIN. Each tire was off by a lot and no tire had remotely the same psi. So I brought it back. The tire pressure was reset on the spot and I thought everything was great. Now that I've taken the car on the freeway for the first time since getting it back from them, it violently shakes when approaching 80mph. It's actually worse than before. Now it's time for either legal action or something else. We'll see what happens when I take it back when they reopen in the morning. This is ridiculous. read more
