I came to Ramona Tire for an oil change mainly because they include a tire rotation with it. After waiting about three hours, Joe called and told me they couldn't rotate my tires because they were "bald" after already beginning service. When I got home, I checked using the penny test and my found that tires are not bald or even close to needing replacement. If there was a real safety reason, I would fully understand but based on what I can see, that doesn't seem to be the case. This was frustrating because the included rotation was the main reason I chose Ramona tire. The oil change was fine, but overall this was disappointing, especially with the long wait after booking an appointment and the situation with the tire rotation. read more

Went here a few times for oil changes and brakes. They replaced rotors and pads but I kept having brake problems. I took it back and they said I needed brake fluid change and i had a caliper stuck so I had them do both. Fast foward about 7 months i went in for an oil change and they said my brake fluid needed to be changed because it was green. When I let them know they changed the brake fluid a few months earlier he started saying he didn't know why it was like that but would set me up for a free fluid change when I came back in. When I called back later to make an appointment for an oil change the people had no clue about a free brake fluid change. They not only are bad at doing their jobs because even with an appointment youll wait hours for a simple oil change, they're dishonest. Avoid at all costs! read more

In the past, they had fair pricing. Took my truck in. I was having some break issues. Their pricing on parts and labor was insane. Ended up paying just shy of $4,000 (same price of what my truck is worth) for new brakes, rotors, master cylinder, a coolant flush, they also replaced an upper radiator hose. The radiator hose cost me $115... mind you this is for a 97 ford f@&kin ranger. A oem radiator hose from motorcraft is around $30... (this isn't a oem radiator hose looks like it came off of a snuffleupagus) then they charged me $110 for labor.... (It's 2 hose clamps) so evidently the radiator hose they used came off of dale Earnhardt's Daytona winning NASCAR. All the prices for all the parts were overpriced, some more than others. So I get my truck back and the brakes still don't work... go back and they finally fix the issue. But they charged me for a brake flush twice. I don't know bout y'all but that's more messed up than a soup sandwich in a tumble dryer. I left the shop madder than a mosquito in a room full of mannequins. I gave them 2 stars because I know it's not the guys at the shops fault. They were all nice, helpful and did fix the problem... eventually. Just wanted to save the next person from getting bent over like I did. read more

I initially was happy with the price of $70-75 because other places were charging more. They had a first time customer coupon. But after waiting almost 3 hours for an oil change I drove home and noticed a noise coming from my car. I came back to get it checked when I had time and was told there was nothing they could do. It was my brakes and they did nothing wrong. But the matter of fact was the noise didn't start until they touched my car. FYI the oil changes include a hand cranked tire rotation. I had to get my car checked out elsewhere and spend well over double my initial price. So point is cheaper doesn't mean better. read more

Went in to have a diagnostic and was told that I needed new breaks, a flush and to replace the intake manifold. Just for the intake manifold I was quoted $1600. I got a second opinion and all my vehicle needed was a spark plug and breaks are still good. I can't believe how this places operates. Highly discourage getting the 5 YEAR UNLIMITED ALIGNMENT, this "UNLIMITED ALIGNMENT" is limited to 2x a year. So if you want to do repairs yourself and bring it back for alignment they will charge you unless you wait 6 months. Also after the first time I took my car in they left grease all over the driver side interior door panel. read more

Thank God for Joe at the Riverside store and Angel and the other system manager. I forget his name but besides being extremely courteous and professional. And not just with me but with other customers I see them with. They actually finished the job and found a mistake an error from the previous technician. Joe found that my rear lower anti-sway bar on one side had a broken bolt and is basically disconnected which after having my car up in the air for over 5 hours, three of which I noticed myself no inspection apparently was done at the Ontario store. Or it was falsified if they're claiming there was one because Joe found it within not even 2 minutes of having my car on the alignment machine. But apparently I'm just going to be told off or verbally threatened without repercussions on the person doing so. read more

The other staff i encountered seemed nice as well. My oil change took maybe an hour if that not less. Got a text report about my vehicle which is a nice touch. They offered to do two recommended services for free as a gesture of good faith, since they said that they weren't able to do anything about the Corporate/Company pricing on parts. After bringing the vehicle back for the services, they were unable to perform one of the services, but offered two free oil changes in lieu of the second service. From beginning to end I had a great experience. My service began with making an appointment over the phone. Jackie was quick to help and penned me in for an oil change for Saturday Morning. I was greeted and guided by the store manager Alex, he made this a quick and easy transaction who even helped me with a coupon. Located on Van Buren near Del Taco before the 91 freeway. They are occupying a Firestone building and it says Firestone outside, before you will figure out Ramona operates there (Apparently, Firestone never took down their signage before Ramona took over). Best prices for Pirelli tires. It also helps that they were so closeby. But the mechanics, staff weren't masked at all from what I observed and you had to go in to get your car serviced. They do coupons in their mailers, but apparently the deal doesn't get honored until the next visit. A little confusing but okay. They also gave me a 4pm estimate when it will be done (to swap oht the tires) but didn't get the call til after 4pm. Meh. I'm happy they are nice enough and quick enough. Id recommend them to anyone wanting to get new tires for cheap, but safety wise... well, I'll only go if fully vaccinated (i am). And don't bring your kids with you (i didnt, luckily). read more

At first you think they are a good auto service shop but this is by far has been one of the worst experiences I have had in my entire life dealing with an auto shop. Their customer service sucks, they never call you back when they say they would and your vehicle is never ready when they say it would be ready. He broke down all the hard work gave me an estimate and then when I brought the car there, they told me that the manager said they don't have the tools for the car and it'll take too much time and they don't wanna do it per managers orders. Then they also quoted me again at $1000 higher than the original estimate if I was to do it there. When I told him I spoken to someone named Angel, he broke down the whole thing to me and called me at this price. That's when they told me Angel is the manager who said not to do it. My husbands car needed new tires badly. I shopped around for a bit and Ramona Tire was the best option. I called and spoke to a call center person Carla and she was incredibly helpful, so nice, and made the process of ordering the tires, setting up the rebate and appointment so easy. I was able to get an appointment the next day. When I took the car in, I dealt with Alex. He is so personable and friendly. He took care of everything within minutes. As I was waiting, he explained that the tire size I had given Carla wasn't the right size (I blame my husband haha) but he said not to worry, one of their drivers was going to their other location down the road to get the right size. AND he said the new tires would be cheaper! I highly recommend coming here for your tire needs. BONUS: the lobby was playing great movies. A Christmas Story & Jurassic World. But the best perk was Alex brings his golden retriever pup Zoé with him to work. She is so sweet and such a good shop dog. read more
