I had them remove and old tank from underground at a home I recently purchased, They did a great job and buried a new tank larger than the old one and cleaned up the mess as well as anyone could. The used a backhoe that had rubber tracks and did very little damage to the lawn. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with their work and promptness. I am still waiting for the other troublesome gas company to pick up their tank (the one dug up). It still graces a prominent place near the street in my front yard. Once, years ago, I noticed a small leak at the tank (soapy water test) and they came and repaired that with no problem. Recently, I had difficulty with the ignitor / pilot flame on my logs so I called - their technician (very nice fellow) came out, detected the problem (about time for a new pilot assembly) and we are now back in business! DELIVERY: I called them to inform them I was running low 4 days ago. I am a budget customer, bill…read morepaid every month, have been a customer for almost 30 years. Was informed they would not let me run out,don't worry. They scheduled a delivery but didn't inform me as to when, as promised. Driveway not satisfactory to them so delivery not made. No information relayed to me. I call again (Twice). Get the driveway cleared per their instructions. (Friday) Call to inform Superior/Quarles, tank was below 20%. Was informed they would "try" to arrange a delivery for today (Saturday). Call this morning and told no way to let me know if they are planning to deliver. Probably not as despatchers already made arrangements. Tomorrow is Sunday, my tank is at 7%. Wind chills of -13F and we are both over 85!! Suggests I call back on Monday. It would appear that since Quarles has been sold out and the HQ is in Canada, they are like every other company $$$$. This is riciculous, next year I take my business elsewhere and it seems so will many others. Meanwhile, my partner and I will attempt to survive sub-zero temps till Monday.
