We had our daughter (1.5 yrs at the time) enrolled at AMA Yorba Linda. Our time there was ok until she moved up to the explorers (2-3yrs) class. Her class size jumped from around 10 peers to about 22 classmates, and it has been chaotic. The facility and classrooms smell and are rundown, teachers look exhausted and I've noticed a high turnover rate early on. Go see for yourself when you schedule a tour. Parents have told me AMA used to be great 5 yrs ago but the quality has been lacking in its recent years. The common complaint was that the tuition keeps increasing but the benefits are diminishing (programs, holiday events, performances). There are a few bright and helpful individuals/teachers, but the overall care wasn't worth staying for. Our daughter is much happier at her new school, I wish I knew about it sooner. read more

Not only are the teachers great but the leader ship personnel there are wonderful to do a really good job of making sure that everything is in order with all the kids. My older son attends the Anaheim Hills campus, and we needed another school for our youngest son (6 months old). We had him at a Christian school in YL, and unfortunately, it just wasn't working out for us. Since we loved the AH campus so much, I was desperate to get him into the YL campus (note, Anaheim hills campus doesn't have an infant program, so the reason for two different campuses). Chelsea was able to work with me on the spot with the transfer; I've never worked with someone quicker. Our family was thrilled our youngest could start the next day. And let me say, he has only been there about 4 months now, and we absolutely LOVE this campus and the teachers/staff. Everyone is always so joyful. You can see it in their faces and the way they greet you, that they love what they do. My littlest comes out of the YL campus every day with a huge smile on his face. I am forever grateful for the entire staff and all the love, attention, patience and care they have brought my son and our family. My only wish is that I could take this campus with us when we move; we will truly miss them! If you are in need of childcare in the OC, I would ONLY recommend AmeriMont Academy. We started going to AmeriMont in 2017 when our firstborn was just 4 months old. As a full-time working mom, I needed reliable childcare that could lovingly care for my infant and have flexible hours to accommodate for my busy travel schedule. I toured so many campuses, but always left unimpressed for a multitude of reasons. AMA was one of the first schools we visited and nothing else was able to compare. The Yorba Linda campus was a newer facility, very clean and the staff was amazing. I especially liked that it's located on a private lot so the cars in front of the school have business there rather than a facility located in a retail plaza. There is a secured "holding area" before you can enter and with all the madness in today's world, safety was my number one concern. The campus is outfitted with cameras that parents can access 24/7 and they also have an app to log your child's activity during the school day. They are located near a sheriff's station and fire station so that was also a plus. During the early months of Quarantine 2020, the administration did such a fantastic job rolling with the punches. They hosted daily online classes, provided worksheet packets and coordinated other fun activities for the kids to do at home. When they were able to reopen in June 2020, safety measures and protocols were set in place and we felt very safe to have all our children return for in-person instruction. Our kids started out in the infant class and are growing up at AMA. The amazing women here helped raise them every step of the way and they shared all the big and small milestones with me when I was away at work. They taught them everything from sign language, manners, potty training and so much more. They overall help mold them to be good and caring human beings. The teachers genuinely care about each and everyone of those kids and it really shows. We love going here and have made so many memories with the other families and staff. They love our kids as if they were their own and 10 out of 10 would recommend! read more

My daughter started attending the school about a year ago. At first I was unsure of the place but things quickly changed. Mr. Alex, Mrs. Yumuna, Mrs. Juliette and Mrs. Betty are absolutely wonderful. We were so lucky to have Mr.Alex teach our daughter. He cares so much for the kids. He also took the time to give me detailed information on my daughters progress. AmeriMont has been such a blessing for our little girl. She started as Sparklers, currently Firecrackers and now going to Explorers next week for the new school year. The teachers here are amazing and very loving. You cannot go wrong with AmeriMont. During the school year they have a good structured program. Starts with the school going outside to say the pledge of allegiance. Than a full day of learning. Catered lunches are very reasonable in price with Cater Tots. They have a great summer camp program. I now have to drag our daughter out sometimes because she doesn't want to go home. The communication between the teachers is fantastic and the administration are on top of it. We searched at a lot of preschools and nothing compared to AmeriMont. She's at the Yorba Linda campus. read more

I enrolled my son here when he was 2 to 3 yrs old, I added a video cam option so i can see what my son is doing inside his classroom, there where times like when i see my son was all alone on one table and the rest of the kids in one. Multiple incidents happened to where my son got bitten by other kids because they said that my son needs a speech therapist. They didnt even mention to have my son check for autism which at the age of 3, and yes he was diagnosed. The principal called me and said that he will stay with the kids with age 2 group coz he is still not potty trained. Thats one of the reason i enrolled my son in there to teach him how to potty and how to communicate with other kids which none of those work. I pulled him out and tried to put him to kiddie academy and they wont accept him at his age to be put to group of 2 yr old kids coz he is still not potty trained, but why Amerimont still wants him on age 2 group. I met one of my sons teacher and she said this academy really turned into just baby sitting. I will not recommend this daycare and will not spend $1500 a month for baby sitting. read more

Being a former educator myself, I love the strong foundation they provide for the children and the love of learning that the teachers inspire. Horrible experience. This review is not about the teachers, but of the owners and the director. I toured the school in January of this year and signed a full contract (including all the licensing documentation and the routing info for my deposit and monthly tuition fees) on March 1st. I planned to start this fall in August for my two kids ages 1 and 3. Now in May, I received an email with new rates and they raised the rates 450 dollars per month!! It was a 41 percent increase!!! I asked if they could give me the rates I toured with as that is fair, and they said no. Now for the past two months I have not looked for alternative childcare as my contract was signed. Why would I? I had a signed contract and gave my financial info. Now they ask me if I wouldn't mind paying more tuition -- is that ok? To the owners--if your bank sent you an email that your mortgage was increasing by 41 % would that be ok?This is not a normal increase. How could you treat my family this way? Either they are gouging new families or they are incompetent. The existing families have not (yet) been asked to pay an additional 500 dollars per month. So, if you decide to sign up with this school the kid next to your kid will be paying 500 cheaper. Is that fair? Are you delivering 500 dollars more value to my child? To boot, they asked me to pay 500 more over email. Let me give you advice amerimont, if you want anyone to pay more money don't send them an impersonal email. I would never trust this school. If you go there now be prepared to be nickel and dimed. If you're thinking about it, you are being taken advantage of. The kid next to you pays 1/3 less than you do. My family and I love Amerimont Academy! We came to Amerimont after our son had spent a year and a half at another daycare. It was the best decision we ever made for our son! The teachers are all qualified and excellent with kids. They have fun and new ways of teaching the kids and they also help the kids with learning personal responsibilities. My son has learned so much since he's been there and I have noticed so many positive changes in my sons behavior since we put him in Amerimont. The teachers take the time to get to know their students and I'm very grateful for the feedback I also receive. This is the best day care around. They have a super friendly staff, very clean, and I always feel comfortable leaving her while I am at work. I love the director Jamee...she is amazing and the teachers show the kids so much love and attention. The toys are age appropriate as well. My baby was the youngest they have had....she started at 8 weeks old. I couldn't have chosen a better place. After talking to some teachers and just observing the changes this year , it's clear there is a lack of attention to making this a great preschool. My 2.5 year old daughter attends this beautiful, clean, organized preschool. On days she doesn't have school, she asks me when she can go back! The teachers are super professional and so great with the children. I really enjoy the daily integration of independent play and use of modern technology as well. They have SMARTboards that are interactive tools they use to sing songs, learn sign language, talk about the weather, have dance parties, and so much more! They also use an app in the classrooms that informs you when/how much your child ate, when they napped, what their mood was, and they even send cute photos. I don't take advantage of the private, secure webcams they have placed in each classroom, but that shows how confident the school is in their program. I give this school an A++! read more

The only problem with this school is they don't have more locations. My family had to relocate and we had to pull our toddler out. I felt inclined to write a review after running into the owner last week. She remembered me and my child's name which is a testament to the love that is poured into the school. Love, love, love this place. We checked out a lot of places before deciding to send our daughter here. From the first phone call we made to come check it out our mind was put at ease. This was the only place that we didn't have to make an appointment to check out. We were told to come in whenever. When we got there we were impressed by the warm welcome and the security. Being a first time mom and having to go back to work was hard enough but I felt comfortable leaving her here. The daily sheets are great, I know I can check in anytime and see how her day is going. The teachers are great and she is so happy to go every morning. There is even an option where you can sign up to check in on a web cam at anytime. We have been there over a year now and are soooo happy with our choice. read more
