Because of leaks around my swamp cooler (bent flashing , as well as holes in flashing) wrong caulk (and gaps in caulk) water leaked in and destroyed my ceiling and hardwood floors. I started the process, to have it fixed, in February and it is now April 5th and I've gotten nothing but a run-around! I'm not able to rent it out (1,300-1,500/month). I was over, promised that I would receive the roof, gutters and siding When, in fact when I finally got a hold of adjuster was told that the siding would not be allowed, But when I spoke to Joe, he said he was gonna try to get it into the estimate Then I had to pay an $1800 cancellation fee. Honestly? This was the most nerve wracking event of my life! No one called to tell me they are showing up! Roofers or Gutter people. No one spoke any English at all! They left a ton of nails all over my yard and driveway. I lost my Ham Antenna and tripod mount. No one could explain what they were doing or when they would be finished. They were not roofers for Ameri Pro Roofing, they were roofing contractors out of Aurora, IL and were hired by Ameri Pro. The gutter person showed up in a beat up truck with no sign or anything. They do not honor their warranty. After having roofing installed after a year some of the shingles on roof started to come loose and there was a dip in one part of the roof that needed wood replacement before they installed the shingles which was never replace. I had a hard time reaching out to Ameripro just to get someone to come out complete an inspection. It took a whole month to be exact. When an inspector did come out they were very rude another so another inspector came out and stated that nothing was wrong. They want your business but after they get your money look out that's it. Salesman very responsive BEFORE receiving my check, which was September 10th. Material dropped off ON the street in front of my house on the !6th. Work not started until October 3rd. We had to park around the huge pallet for 3 weeks! When they did start, they spread the materials around mine and my neighbors easement. Fast and to lift some stuff off of my flowers, which they crushed. I never had her landscapers scheduled on the Thursday they started but had to leave because they couldn't get to the lawn. They are very disrespectful of my property. Material fell and bouquet base which was a birthday gift, they knocked over a rare rose in another vase, detached a topiary that was attached to an entance arch, pulled out and threw a garden flag on my newly played and fragile lilac tree sapling, threw debris off all sides of house. We could barely exit side door due to the buildup of old roofing and our antenna (which was pushing it's rods against our screen door. They'll roped up our front gangway brick work by dragging the tarp (filled with more debris) out to the front. They just left them like that. Threw our satellite in our neighbors trash area. I fould several nails on my back patio, after stepping on them. We addressed a few things on the first day when we called the salesman. It's response seemed mildly defensive. Waiting to give more details of how his workers performed, but there's been no follow-up call to see how we felt about their service. They left Friday afternoon and we haven't heard a word from anyone since. I'm not an expert on how well the job they did on our roof but I'm very apprehensive that we will have problems going forward because the pride in their seemed lacking. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Ameripro Roofing. What started as a bad experience....they made excellent. We were on our way to Florida on July 5. I called my neighbor to check on something and she said, that was fine but there were roofers tearing of our roof. I told her they shouldn't be there and she called the police to get a a report. We are about 2 hours from home and immediately turned around. We got the phone number for a guy named Marcelino. He promised us a new roof at no cost to us. He sent a guy from Illinois to show us samples and pick what we wanted. The materials were ordered and delivered to our home in 2 days. The roofers started replacing our roof and were done in a day and a half. I cannot say enough about how well they treated us and rectifying their mistake. It is so nice to work with a company that pays attention to details and does a good job! We had storm damage and had two companies come out to give us a quote. One never even called us back. Ameripro, Michael, the whole process was perfect from start to finish. Our biggest thing was clean up afterwards and oh my word did they clean up! AmeriPro Roofing was surely great to deal with, thanks to the 2 sale agents who helped me initially. They were Ms. Lauren and Mr. Dan M - I want to make sure AmeriPro knows how professional, knowledgeable, easy to talk to they were. I leave in SC, 20 min away from Charlotte. I was very skeptical at first, because I never filed a house claim before, thankfully, and I heard a lot of stories. But Ms. Lauren seemed very sincere, and after a short conversation, assured me that I don't have anything to lose if I let them inspect my roof. They did all the work for us, and not only that but after they finally convinced me that it's worth asking for a second inspection, my whole roof was approved and smaller other side damages, after it was rejected first time. We could never see from the ground how damaged is the roof, because we don't climb on it every 2 months, nor we have an eye for these details. Dan M took over early in the process, and I can't say enough good thing especially about his character, his promptness, his willing to go the extra mile, and give me all the assurance I needed regarding the money transaction. He's one of those only a handful of very ambitious and hard-working young men. I was perplexed to go from non-approved to fully approved, and it took a while until they made me understand that I have nothing to lose, and if approved they guarantee that all I pay them is my deductible. Ameripro left me high and dry. Their contractor messed up my brand new roof. They"forgot" to install the drip edge when installing the new roof. So after going around and around for weeks to get someone to call me back, they finally came out to fix it. Only they messed up the roof when doing the drip edge. They called me to ask if I was satisfiedobviously I said no. They asked how can they make it better. THEY suggested a refund. I agreed. I'm STILL waiting for any resolution. That was 6 months ago. Let's start with it took three customer service representatives to assist with my insurance claim. Then I was told repeatedly, that the back office fights for every dollar from insurance companies for you, yet I had to supply my insurance the tarp invoice and permit invoice. Not to mention, it took over a month for one rep to return my call when both me and my adjuster were trying to get ahold of the office to send over the final itemization so I could get the last of the payouts. Finally, my final invoice from you guys was wrong. It stated I owed over 11k, when it should have only been 3k, the back and forth for over a month until one rep finally goes "oh, the final invoice is wrong" like I have not been explaining that for over a month! Then they did not reset the invoice clock, so I started being harassed with multiple texts, emails from people there and just plain rudeness. I was dealing with my mother in the ICU, which I told another rep, but he did not give a damn, he just wanted his money, which we were waiting for the insurance check to come, as I had explained to them, given that it took forever for AmeriPro to send over the documentation, but was treated as this was all my fault. WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER!! To top it off, a salesman showed up at my door one day talking about I should let him quote my roof and gutters, after the work had been done! Made me feel really good that a rep going door to door in my neighborhood had no idea, like wow!!! I will not refer this company at all, I will leave reviews wherever I can, and its obvious you guys do not care about your customers, as no one, ONCE, offered an apology for the passing around to reps as I was, for the incorrect billing, for the lack of follow up, as when I confronted the one rep, I showed her the proof of my calls to her and that I left messages, but I was still the one at fault. Just sad the level of customer experience that was had here, when I came to you guys from a referral and in a crisis! The crew that did the work on the roof did an amazing job. The billing department however, is horribly inept. I had my primary home done and a rental property done. The billing department confused the two properties multiple times and not only tried to bill me for work that wasn't done (3 times - separate items) they argued with me about it. If I could give 0 stars to this company I would. We were told 3 times they were coming to at least put a tarp on our roof and still no tarp. Continued lies from them, and now they are dodging mine and my husbands calls. I have worked for a roofing company before this is definitely not how business should be done. And when our insurance agency called they were rude.Finally when they called my husband they were beyond extremely rude. Never go with this company! The salesman was very nice but the office and administration is rude and very unprofessional! In the mean time I have no tarp on my roof , no shingles, and a bunch of snow covering my roof. read more
