Apparently yelp delete ,reviews because my review no longer shows so reposting Amerisave is the worst company ever when I called. They told me I qualified for a loan. I gave them all the information. Fortunately, I didn't have to pay the $500 because they screwed up and then when we came to the end of their loan where they PNC Bank to their Legal department, they told me they couldn't give me the loan because I didn't have a steady income. imagine having over $1 million and I don't have a steady income and all I was trying to borrow is 20,000 for HELOC loan I have over 400,000 equity in my brand new home less than a year old long story short hours of hours and phone calls waste of time. I walked away after they took all my personal confidential information. I wouldn't do business with this loan company if they were the last company on the planet Earth, worst experience ever. Got a $50,000 HELOC loan in less than 2 weeks from PNC bank . sad part is because amerisave has my phone number and email address. Stay away from Amerisave Mortgage. They are a joke. They won't do anything except wasting time. They will ask you the same document three times. Spent so much time and resources with them and in the end I backed out of the refinance cause they just kept making saying loan is approved and kept asking more and more same documents. They made appointments with Notary 3 times to close the loan and then kept cancelling it out. Changed the Loan Originator twice, loan processors twice. They asked me to not back out of the loan cause everything was approved, however, they won't close the loan. They also kept sending wrong closing documents with wrong fees and every time I questioned the fees, they cancelled the closing. I guess they wanted me to shut up and sign the docs. Stay away from this company. They initially come out good and give you the impression that they will really take care of you. Once you start the process, they just keep sucking your energy. Also never upload the documents on their website cause you won't be able to prove to them you have uploaded the documents. Thats the trick they play with you. No history of documents so you can't prove to them that you have uploaded the docs three times already. read more

OMG... NIGHTMARE!! My wife and I were looking for a refinance of our home... we contacted Joe Perez from Amerisave back in August 11 and got the ball rolling. We got all our documents started. Next time we heard from him was Oct 29. We are self employed and uploaded profit and losses and ALL our financial information as needed. We were assured the loan would go through as a conventional loan (we are on FHA right now) and thus lower our payments. Anyway, we had to keep uploading documents and pay a $500 non-refundable fee (based on Joe Perez assuring us everything looked good for the loan and it would go through). By the time January rolled around (FIVE MONTH LATER), all of a sudden they can't do a conventional loan and we are back to FHA ONLY. Joe Perez said we would get our $500 refunded back, even though that was non-refundable, he assured us that the conventional loan would go through and they would close out the process and that he would get that refund going. We are still waiting for the refund as of today. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR EFFORT! Stay away from this dishonest outfit. We are now doing a refinance through our regular bank and everything is on track to close soon.... less than one month since first contact with them! Maybe Amerisave works well with professional brokers, but for us end users, evidently not so much. They took away five months of my life I will never get back read more

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR A LOAN If I could do zero stars, I would because of Timothy Apenbrinck! He was extremely rude and unprofessional when we wanted to get a loan through Amerisave. I am so thankful he was though because when I decided to do a review on this experience, I saw how many bad reviews this company got. Basically Tim was all nice in the beginning but I made one typo about my part-time work experience and he acted like I was a freaking criminal. I accidentally got a year wrong making it seem like there was a small gap and he said I was not eligible to use my experience, only my husbands which cut our loan amount by a lot. I told him it was a typo and that there was no gap. He acted like he didn't believe me so he demanded I give him every single W2. I did. But that wasn't good enough. He demanded that that I give him pay stubs from every single place I worked since 2019. I believe it was the first and last pay stub. I was willing to but I had to make calls and it was hard because not everywhere I had a job in the past few years had accessible pay stubs online and one place even deleted me completely from the system. When I wasn't fast enough, he sent me a new letter with the way lower amount when we were already supposed to be preapproved and looking. I sent him verification of the dates for every employer but that STILL wasn't enough. He wanted to CALL EVERY EMPLOYER to verify. Like I already sent him documents to verify this info. Plus if I only needed 2 years of consistent work experience why did he need to call everyone from the past 4 years!! Finally he verifies everything but still never sent us a new preapproval after putting me through the loop FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. He then told me he had to get an exception for something different and would get back to me AND HE NEVER DID. It's been like 9 months and he never reached back out. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. DO NOT GO TO THIS COMPANY TO BUY A HOUSE. We ended up going with Navy Fed and it was 100x better than Amerisave, especially working with Tim. I am a 69 year old business man. owner. I do have a mortage on my home which is curently at 3.3 percent. My home appraised for $750,000 and the loan I was appling for (refinance) $450,000 I figured with the low interest rates in August 2020 I would refiance. Goggled mortage companies and Amerisave pops up. I am thinking this should be a no brainer with a $300,00+ income, Liquid enough to pay this note off 5 times over, credit score in the 800, never had a bankruptcy, never had a foreclosure, have assests in the millions. But after 4 months of never ending request for more paper work and missing out on low interest rates. They keep saying we are going to closing but always request another piece of information. Worst Mortgage company to consider. When it comes to your largest investment this is not the company you want. I recently just resigned from Amerisave after being forced to call clients on the "DO NOT CALL LIST"every single day. This company calls clients from a Scam phone number everyday. This Company does try so hard to steal Rocket mortgage clients amongst other lenders. High chance this company keeps your loan in process without closing. They'll also ask for your appraisal fee knowing they cannot close your loan. I will not even wish my worst enemy to work with Amerisave mortgage. Amerisave is a company to avoid. They are liars and will wait until closing date to tell you they will not close because all of the documents sent in their portal they dont have. I sent everything in weeks ahead called daily before closing and on closing day they told me to provide additional information. That was provided then they asked for something else that also was provided so they change tactics and requested something totally deffirent. All of this putting my 5000 dollar deposit at risk of lose. They have cause me a lot of stress pain and anguish and I will report them to the BBB and the Media. I started a cash out refinance on my home for a kitchen remodel. During the application process they asked if they could make a "soft" credit read and I agreed. It turned out to be a "hard" credit inquiry and dropped my 800 ish rating into the high 700's by 30 points!!! Now I'm getting that noticed by other mortgages I want to shop for. SHAME oN AMERISAVE, be aware don't believe the sales people on the phone. Once they drop your credit rating you really need to go with them otherwise you'll pay more somewhere else. read more

Wesley Felts at Amerisave changed or homeowner's insurance to reflect then as the mortgage servicer prior to the loan even being finalized. Our homeowner's policy was cancelled as a result because when Amerisave (who wasn't actually servicing the loan), was sent the bill, they did not notify us. When I received notice in the mail, I contacted Wesley, who took the time to coffee me and say that it was their policy and that other people had positive experiences. When I asked who I could talk to about getting the issue fixed, he said he would contact someone in customer service. Instead, he called back two minutes later to continue his harassment. Crooks all the way, stay away do not deal with these guys. Promised low interest, over 2 months ago we started the process there was no communication by email once we paid the 500 fees to start the process and submitted all the paperwork and then some. 2 months after 've been chasing them around by phone and emails they get back to me with a totally different rate and deal that doubles the closing costs, they went through 3 processing managers within the 2 months. It literally feels like Uber of the lending business, you have a different guy evey time you contact them and the new guy has no fckn clue what;s going on and what the status is. I'm hoping to get my 500 bucks bakc as we lost the refi opportunity over 2 other lenders as the lender originator sounded legit and it is a big company but we made a huge mistake by going with them, now we are stuck again until the rates hit rock bottom or until we pay enough of the home to lower the monthly payments. read more
