An employee (perhaps the same one that lied earlier) said they could not be rented even though they were both there, they had not been inspected and the computer system said not ready to rent. They refused to inspect and check in the lift. So I ended up driving away. So Home Depot lied and told a customer they were available to be picked up today , then when driving in they said they were not available because they had not been inspected. What a pathetic joke of staff. When calling the store to complain to the store manager that he has serious disrespectful staff (I don't appreciate being lied to the wasting my time for their lie) I was attempted to be redirected to the rentals depts. They carry an impressively thorough assortment of fish stuff (including frozen food and driftwood), cat and dog stuff, and bird and rodent stuff for a small local store. The hardware store has beautiful live plants, a florist section, appliances, cleaning supplies, cold drinks, snacks, Sloggers brand boots, nice gardening gloves, etc. They can also apparently custom cut glass for you, which I haven't tried using yet but plan on it.

Pets are allowed inside but we didn't bring ours when we visited. There was a cute and friendly older black lab that works there. ;) The owners were nice (though, seemed to be bickering during checkout which was uncomfortable). We ended up getting a new collar for our dog, two tennis balls, and some local treats for her. She absolutely loved the lobster treats! One of the best things about visiting this store is the owners' two black labs who "help out" by lying about up front or off to the side of the entrance on their dog beds (L.L. Bean dog beds of course). And lucky us, the day we were there, the owners' son's dog, a black Lab mix, was also there making for a 3-dog day!
