I tried their new drink a Snowball Slushie with 1 scoop of non-dairy vanilla ice cream in the middle with Rootbeer slushie mix and two shots of espresso poured over it-WOW - A Wonderful Flavor Sensation for my taste buds! Fair prices and large scoops. Found this place online prior to visiting the city. Husband has a dairy, gluten, and soy allergy so finding sweets is hard. They had about 8-9 DF flavors. I was a fan of the DF huckleberry but he liked the DF raspberry chocolate chip. I got the dairy elephant tracks, choc ice cream with pb pieces and the Cookie Monster. My only complaint is 2 other people at my table also got the Cookie Monster and they actually had cookie dough pieces in there's while mine did not. My husband even noticed how mine looked different from theirs. If and when I visit again I will probably be back. read more

He enjoys coming in and chatting with the owner (his favorite game recently is "Ice Cream Shop") and always leaves with a cheesing smile. Our family loves Amethyst Creamery!! Our girls love looking at all the rocks and love bringing their money to buy a new treasure. We appreciate that they're affordable for them and that they get to feel grown up getting something fun. The ice cream is delicious. And SO MANY dairy free flavors! best selection in town. Super rich and creamy. We always leave satisfied. We enjoy getting our scoops and going for a walk along the river. Wonderful selection of flavors in general. Their ice cream is awesome! I tried Pirates Bounty, Cookie Monster and Jamocha Joe. All of them were awesome! I also had a Affogato (1 ice cream scoop and 2 Espresso shots) and it was amazing! Why ship ice cream from across the country if it's not even made with natural, wholesome ingredients? The taste is ok, I expected something more higher quality based on the reviews. The only thing I would suggest is maybe have some wet naps or wipes that you can clean yourself or kids up with. Other than that PERFECTION. In addition to tasting burnt shots that were used for the drinks, neither of them tasted the way you would think they would. There was no trace of peanut butter in my drink.
