The attendant asked me for my pressure preference and the aromatherapy was not overwhelming or overpowering. My massage took about an hour but I had access to the facility for the day. I did leave after an hour since there wasn't much to do other than the hot tub and one sauna. Overall, I enjoyed the services but I do wish they offered more, like a pool, salt room, or other amenities.

She did say I can have a discounted service....so spend more money. So just a heads up to not purchase products unless you have used them before and like paying the higher price. When I booked, I was told I would receive a confirmation, but I never did. The Monday before my appointment, I called to confirm. No one answered, so I left a voicemail. I then received an automated text asking why I had called. I explained that I hadn't received a confirmation, but got no response. After following up again, Kira finally responded and confirmed the email address on file, but I still didn't receive confirmation until less than 24 hours before my scheduled appointment. Then, just a few hours before my appointment, Kira asked me to move it to an earlier time slot. I had already arranged my day around the appointment, so that didn't work for me. She also tried to steer me toward the Rapid Tan instead of the Cocktail Tan I had booked and gave me skin-prep instructions that contradicted the instructions in her original email, which felt like a ploy just to convince me to take the earlier time slot. After considerable back-and-forth, I ultimately canceled because the entire experience felt flaky and unprofessional. Despite the lack of timely confirmation, failure to return my call, last-minute request to change my appointment, attempt to switch me to a different service, and conflicting preparation instructions, I was still charged a cancellation fee. I had heard great things about Shaded before booking, which made this experience especially disappointing. Unfortunately, my experience was that the business was poorly managed and did not treat my time as a customer with much consideration. If you book here, be aware she might flake and still charge you, even if you received confirmation within less than 24 hours of your appointment.

I was a bit disappointed that one of the beds was broken (don't know how long it has been broken for since I'm a very intermittent customer). They could improve the vibe in here for sure by investing in the overall atmosphere (and I wish ALL the beds were the newer ones with builtin fans and music), but this place is close to my house and always gets the job done. Currently, they have a promo where you buy 10 and get 2 free (I think 5 and get one free was $95, plus tax for level 3 beds). Side note, it was my first time trying the level 3 bed (I've tried all levels except level 1 at this point now) but holy cow that level 3 bed does not mess around! My butt is so red from just 10 minutes I should have listed to my body when I started to feel that distinct tingling feeling.... I wonder if they recently replaced the bulbs or something because that thing has got some power!

I said no problem walked back outside and grabbed my phone to see what time it was and wait for it to turn 10 When I went back in at 10 suggested that they lock the door or turn the open sign off. She was extremely nasty and said the sign was broken and she can't lock the door when she's inside. Extremely nasty attitude not a smile, nothing. I have a package of tans here and honestly, I would rather not even return after dealing with someone like that.
