Do not book a party here. Zero communication from anyone to help plan a birthday party, even after you put down a hefty deposit in full. It is like pulling teeth to get anyone to answer any questions (for example, what decor is provided? how early can I come in and set up? can you accommodate a child with celiac?) and when they do, it's conflicting information. I've been here few times and I liked it! The staff is nice. If you are hungry you can buy food there (we got some pizza and drinks). I was there in the afternoon and it was relatively busy but there was also a tournament happening. Not a fan when someone who works for a place gives false information and doesn't spend the time to adjust said mistake and instead ruins an entire families Easter due to their incompetence. Every phone in the country has caller ID. For them to not call and let us know they changed their hours after accepting a reservation for Easter morning is absolutely insane negligence. I had a really good experience planning a party here for my office! The online system was easy to figure out, and the sales representative working with me was very clear and prompt about everything. Everything was all set up for us as soon as we got there, so all I had to do was relax and play a few rounds of bowling. They accommodated our group of about 25 people, and kindly set up bumpers for the two children we had with us. The food wasn't amazing, but it's a bowling alley so I wasn't expecting it to be top tier. Everything was super straightforward, I would gladly plan another party here. Before I start review: My unsolicited wise life advice is to buy your own bowling shoes because they pay for themselves - I mean how many times have you been bowling in your life? Probably more than 7 times. You can buy a decent pair for like $30. Anyways, at this bowling alley, games are $6 each and shoes are $5. They have nice unlimited bowling specials which I did not get to take advantage of. Anyways, nice bowling alley. No smoking. Plenty of balls available. Standard scoring. The oil is good on the lanes. Employees are very nice. They even brought out the ramp and put up the bumpers for the kid with no complaints. 4.5 stars. Above average bowling alley. Will be back soon. Good time, Food is great, (pizza, wings are a little spicy , burgers are good). Quesadillas come with peppers. Love the garlic fries. (ask if Nate is cooking--then go crazy ) Several leagues bowl here, better off calling in advance to get pricing and whether or not it would be a dark lane night. Nothing spectacular about the arcade. It's a chill spot for food and drinks. Mai tai's are great, lots of drink specials. Do yourselves a favor and give one person your money. Busy, but granted it was a Saturday night. Loud children galore. Upon arrival, the place has this stagnant movie theater popcorn/sweaty smell. We had a $5 off per person coupon, but we purchased multiple games. Upon returning our shoes one of the cashiers mentioned that we should have done the $19.95 unlimited 3 hours of bowling per person instead for the amount of money we spent on individual games. Hello! We would have done that in the first place if we were shown/offered it. Disappointed we were told about it after all of our games were purchased, would have liked to have gotten more for our money. I can't speak to the bowling alley itself because we never made it to the lanes to play. I took my daughter and one of her friends here the other day to bowl because they didn't have school. Parking lot was full and you could see people coming and going so we went in. When we got inside there were people bowling so we went to the counter to get shoes etc so the kids could go bowling and waited for the person working the desk to come back. When he finally came back he was extremely rude and unprofessional. No greeting or such just told us they were closed with no explanation even tho I saw people bowling. Turns out it was league bowling until 5 but had to figure that out on our own. I know finding help is hard in this day and age but retraining on how to greet customers at a minimum is called for. Not likely I'll be going back, would rather drive further away to a bowling alley that has better staff. read more

It's a run-of-the-mill bowling alley. The balls and shoes are of questionable cleanliness, the lane machinery isn't always reliable, and the service is slow. That said, the people working at the front desk are usually very nice and helpful. The evening specials can be GREAT deals, especially Mondays and Tuesdays (and Thursdays for college/grad students). Tuesdays are packed, so be sure to get there early (before the special officially starts) to make sure you get a lane. Minus 1 star for the fact that if you need any help with your lane on a busy night, nobody will ever come, despite however many times you call them over the intercom. Minus another star for the atrocious food. The fries and chicken fingers are decent, but skip everything else. The pizza here is somehow worse than grocery store frozen pizza. A business shouldn't even sell things this bad. If you ever decide to come here for the New Years Eve party (I once did!), know that it will be nearly empty, and you most certainly do not need to make reservations or arrive early - but it's a fun time! booked my birthday party here! was very impressed with how flexible and nice the staff were because they allowed me to change the start time of my party as the rest of my guests were running late. they catered to our every need and helped us out with the bowling apparatus! the food was amazing, the french fries and chicken tenders were nicely crispy and the pepperoni pizza was really good!! again, i cannot stress how amazing the staff was for making sure everything was okay. they even set up decorations that said "Sab #18" and a seahorse painting!! it was amazing!! thank you!! read more

I have always enjoyed bowling at circle lanes. Listen the price of bowling is a little ridiculous, but at least you know it, it's not a surprise. To bowl two games, it costs like $18. And 2 games can fly by in 40 minutes or so. The cheapest way to bowl, is to actually own your own shoes, and be in a league. They have about 6 or 7 different leagues here. I utilized this bowling alley for a program I manage. The party was about 75 people with bowling and food. Usually, the activities at other venues are okay, but this one was stellar! The staff members were so welcoming and inviting, they really made the attendees feel important and welcomed. The food was amazing and the bowling was excellent! Hi, I am a fan of the management I belong to a senior league and my grandson to a below 12 league. Both leagues that we belong to are soft and caring people which I appreciate a lot. However not only is the food ridiculously unpalatable, but extremely overpriced for a blue collar facility. My family owned an happily successful restaurant here in CT. We have since retired (for roughly 7 years now) but occasionally accept consulting jobs. I am not looking to do that here, but would recommend you contact Robert Irvine from "The Cooking Channel" for help with the Cherry Hill Lanes in East Haven, CT.His services are not only "free", but he will more that likely contribute a sizable amount of money if he uses your episode for his show. (WIN-WIN) I am sure he will recommend that you recruit an experienced chef for this facility. Test several and hire the best one. My educated guess is that your food income will FAR exceed your bowing income because of the friendly, homespun attitude the place has. This would also discourage your customers from sneaking in their own food, because the smells and sight of your home cooked food will envelope them. read more

5 stars for bowling for price, rental, and time but do not eat here! Ordered nine napkin nachos and chili cheese fries. Both basically consisted off spray cheese, burnt ketchup/BBQ sauce like substance. No chili, no beans. No jalapeños. And cardboard fries and cardboard nachos. We tried it and immediately turned green and our bowling scores plummeted until we regained our desire not to get violently sick. So go for the bowling but eat before you go! They serve Yuengling so that's for the 3rd star. If not the food along gets 1 star. read more

Had a group outing of 60 people at Circle Lane and everything was excellent. The General Manager and staff worked very hard to show us a great time. The food from the concession stand was fresh and made to order. The staff was alway visible to answer any questions. They were very accommodating by opening early then they usual time. The bowling alley runs specials for cheaper rates. It's best try and bowl during those hours since it cuts the prices in half. The new manager Lou is very friendly and takes pride in the center. He is very approachable and is willing to listen to the "bowlers" and isn't solely focused on birthday parties and open bowling. The snack bar could be pricey but the food has gotten much better.
