This place is located near Sleeping Giant Park - which is visible from the course. Beautiful greenery and so on. The game of golf itself is fun and can be challenging. Being able to play with friends/family is wonderful! Golf carts are available to anyone. I met some really nice golfers during my game at SGGC. The employees greet you with a smile and wish you lots of luck during your golf game. Another great thing is like to share - the bathrooms are always kept up with. Not gonna lie, from someone who grew up right around the corner from GLGC - this golf course is better IMO! SGGC? You definitely do not disappoint! I'll be back..

The fairways and greens were as good as I've played all year in MA, NH and CT. The layout is great and many of the views are beautiful. It's a challenging course, but not overly so. Back 9 tougher than the front, but both are fun and challenging. If you're spraying the driver, keep it in the bag. Of the criticisms - this one is ridiculous: "In more than one case you literally tee off INTO another tee box. It defies logic. The place looks like it was hit by a meteor. " Utterly ridiculous - NOWHERE do you tee off INTO another tee box, that is idiotic - maybe he should have checked the map on the card. Nor does it look - AT ALL - like it was hit by a meteor. Construction is limited to base of clubhouse area and not near any holes. They have the building - which is really unique and modern looking - and are working around the base of the building while STILL having a nice outside patio area and inside bar. So, NO - no meteor strike... The cart paths need some attention (potholes) - big whoop - other than that, the place is awesome. Ordered some food and drinks at the turn, but since they were busy, they had us go ahead and start the back 9 - they drove out the food and drinks to us on the 10th tee which was great! Staff very nice - really went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. The smash burgers alone are worth the trip. We'll definitely be back - maybe this fall - but once they're done with the clubhouse this place will be really special.

It all started with Jennifer Newman, the event planner. She was truly exceptional. We felt she was not only vested in her venue, but also vested in our lives. We were not members of the club, but we never felt like we were outsiders. The NHCC is elegant and timeless, the grounds are meticulously maintained and perfect for photos. Jennifer went out of her way to make sure our daughter had the wedding of her dreams. Cocktail hour was outside on the covered patio overlooking the golf course, dinner was in the banquet room followed by dancing in a completely separate room. At first I did not like the idea of having dancing in another room because I didn't think it would flow well, but I was completely wrong. We didn't feel like we were in a fishbowl. Guests were able to move from room to room and have a quiet place to mingle and talk while others danced the night away. Oh, and did I mention the food?? Exceptional in every way. We received many compliments regarding the food and the timely manner in which it was served. Thank you for all your help, Jennifer Newman. Lee Jackson, manager, was attentive, responsive, and thoughtful through the planning process, rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. Like the good event manager he is, he was proactive, anticipating concerns in advance--he even arranged for my nieces and nephews to have a space of their own to play during the reception. The space itself is a beautiful throwback to Frank Lloyd Wright's take on modernism. The staff was responsive to the needs of our guests, and the food was excellent--more than one person commented that it didn't taste like "wedding food." Wait service is good, but club management and customer service has to improve for general public to feel welcome.

The event involved a ceremony that included a presentation of gifts and awards. The ballroom and the landscape were beautiful. It was a great idea to have senior night here, as the service and food were great, and I'm so happy for all the graduating seniors and so proud of my daughter.

He even brought in a portable speaker for us to use. Amazing service all around. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I booked the multi-room option and my party loved being able to switch between different sports. Each room was really spacious. When you walk in, there's a bar up front, a pool table, and plenty of tables and chairs to hang out. I liked that the bar tab stays open and is automatically added to your room which made it an easy one time payment. The simulator was such a great experience, especially in this cold weather when you can't golf outside. Perfect way to keep practicing during the winter! This would be an awesome spot for company events, birthday parties, or really any group gathering. I heard they're planning to add an outdoor basketball court too, which sounds exciting. The course is usually in pretty good shape. There is only turf mats and your not supposed to hit a driver off the driving range because it's very short. The biggest issue is the hills on the course. It makes it very hard to know when the person on front of you is done. Be on alert lol. Overall, it's worth a look.
