I went to riviera with high hopes, especially because of the very high prices thinking I would leave in a good mood but it was in fact exactly the opposite. The food was so soggy because of the amount of grease I physically had to stop eating because I was actually gagging. then on top of that the lanes were not oiled properly so my ball had too much friction against the lanes. When things were not working properly I went to the new manager and she was rude with bad customer service and a snarky attitude. If you go up there I do not recommend talking to the staff member with red hair, I believe her Name was tara but I am not completely sure. I do not think anyone would have a good time. read more

Went to a high school bowling tournament there today, January 25, 2025. Was informed by my brother (he's a coach that had arrived there early) that it was a bit chilly inside and so luckily my sisters and I dressed warm. Besides the fact was the 20 something degree weather in Northeast Ohio. After travelling for about an hour we arrived to find that the place was not much warmer than when he had gotten there earlier. It felt like they were heating the place by way of the lights that were turned on inside as well as whatever body heat was being generated by the metabolisms of the human beings that were there. But nothing more than that. So the final line was: Brrrrrrr. My sisters decided to split something from the snack bar and one of them went to place the order. Where I had directed her after I'd walked through the house, was slightly incorrect. So she heard from one person, "You don't put orders in here, it's over there." No problem. She goes to the proper spot and hears form another person working there, "You're going to have to wait." She indicates that this isn't a deal breaker and so she stands there for X number of minutes, then hears from the same person with a tone of annoyance, "Are you waiting to give an order?" To which she responds, "Well yes, but you told me that I had to wait". Then the message changes and it's, "No I said that we're busy and that there's going to be a wait for anything you will order." This is a lack of communication that I don't feel she was responsible for as far as being a *customer* who should generally be treated better than that from the very start. Both things together mean that I'll not be recommending this place to anyone who might ask. read more

Came here on a weekend for a friend's birthday. Standard bowling alley, but the decor is fairly uninspired. It's pretty expensive for nothing special. The bowling is expensive as well as the food. There's tons of parking outside and it has its own private lot, which is nice. We were here on a weekend and it was surprisingly understaffed. There was only one person working the shoe counter and taking orders for food/drinks. It took a really long time to get anything or have someone take your order. Luckily, they did have some free water with cups out. Ultimately, a pretty standard bowling alley, but I didn't feel like it was worth the price and I wouldn't recommend eating here. read more

Great location and beautiful space. Just wasn't pleased on how the establishment is being operated. Only one person running the check in, bar and food orders. This is absolutely the WORST place to go bowling! For a family of four, our bill was over $100. Who do they think they are?!? Horrible customer service. Went there for their $3.33 per game special. Told us they couldn't get us In till 8:30 when it started at 8. Check back a couple times and the girl at the counter was very rude and said they needed to "clean" miraculously after complaining so many times we finally got to bowl for the half hour before they closed. Amf has been going down hill recently. Amf is now a pretentiously expensive bowling ally with no frills. 2 people bowling for 2 hours should not be $100. My siblings are visiting for a week because it's spring break, decided to take them bowling & despite the low reviews, i tried this location out. Upon arrival I'm greeted by one of the cashiers who's mumbling, i guess he was asking if we were one of the reservations or something. We weren't and he goes okay i have one open lane, give me your card to go on file because we don't do pre-paid games. I knew that was a red flag but I didn't feel like causing a scene in front if my family so I did it. (for reference my little sister suggested the guy might be drunk, that's how poor his customer service was). The building smelled kinda like cigarettes and there's no music playing. Our lane didn't even have a table with it, we had to borrow chairs from a neighboring lane. After playing just two games, no ordering of food or drinks, or anything; We decide that's enough and when I leave I get a notification for a charge to my card for over $75...We were there for a total of one hour, and played two games....Why are these prices not made apparent? Would not of came here if I was going to be robbed. read more

Wow!!!! Just paid $200 for 2 hours of bowling with 4 adults and 3 kids under 5. 1 Nachos, 1 fry, 1 Red Bull , 1 adult beverage. WTF?! Now I see why you don't pay until your done! Who in their right mind would ever come there with kids?! Those poor people that have to hand parents their bill?! Dont come here with small kids who like to roll a ball! I'm not an avid bowler, but I can tell that this place is slipping a bit. I've been to this establishment primarily for children's parties my now 7 year old has been invited to. Kids love it. They bowl with retractable bumpers, drop bowling balls, eat pizza and get sugared up to go home to their parents. All in a tidy, two hour package. The last visit I had here, however, it was clear that some of the machines were not operating as well as they could be. That weird "you forgot to clean up the pins" button had to be pressed nearly every other toss on the lane my son was on, for instance. Despite the failing health of the structure and maybe machinery, this place was hopping! For an early Saturday evening in April, it was packed. The music was cranking the the oil at the concession stand was being used to its fulles potential. So....if you don't mind sharing shoes with 6,000 other folks in your city that wear a 10, you like (or are interested in) bowling/fried food/popular music from a neon-encrusted jukebox, you should check this place out! read more

Terrible system for checking people in. (Pen and paper). Was told the wait for 1 lane would be 45 mins for our group of 5 people. Granted, this was on a night with no leagues playing. There were plenty of open lanes, none of them being used for extended periods of time, which didn't really explain the 45 min wait, but whatever, that's cool. We weren't in a hurry and didn't have anywhere to be. Got a beer and had good conversation for awhile. No issues at that point. After over 1 hour, we left. I get it, we're all human, people make mistakes, but this is just unprofessional. Guy at the counter checking folks in was friendly enough, not his fault, I just think they're understaffed and don't have good systems in place. Would come back, but they just need to do better. read more

I visited this location this evening the staff was not in uniform, no name tag or anything not even to tell if they were employed by the company or not. The parking lot needs some major attention and needs to be re paved or something oh here one major problem no parking spots because the parking lot was not marked I'm not sure if it's normal or not but it needs to be fix. read more

Pricing is out of control. 2 families 2 hours of bowling price was $200. Not to add that we called earlier in the day, and was told that pricing was "around $2.00 a game". Guess you need to request a written quote to ensure you get truthful pricing. Staff was not understanding, guy at the register made absolutely no sense. This could've been a positive post until about an hour ago. We were in tonight with four adults and a 3 year old. Had a good time. Food was expensive for what it was but whatever. Then went to check out and bowling was way more expensive than expected which was unfortunate because we liked the idea of bringing our daughter there more in the future. Then about an hour everyone started getting sick. The adults all got stomach aches and my 3 year old who has never puked before just puked hot dog all over her room. I tried calling the business/ manager but no one picked up the line. I just wanted to warn them about the food their serving is getting people sick. Very disappointing. read more

They said that all the lanes were full when they had 20 open still. The lanes messed up almost in every throw. Then one of the lanes started shooting out pins back at us so bad that the pins ended up back where we were seated. Every game we played was messed up. I didn't have a good time there and will not be going back. read more

First it's the most expensive place in Ohio 5.+ to $6.49 per game is a bit expensive considered that evey bowling alley within a 100 mile radius is around 3.50 or less. Adult beverages also cost almost as much as a pro foot ball game or a concert! Maybe its because they are in Fairlawn? Also a drink spill has been on the floor around lain 30 or 32 for weeks, has any one ever swept or moped down buy the lains? wondering what the sanitation guy does all day? probably just empty the already empty trash receptacles. Also we have Been some of the first customers in the Door @ 2 pm on Sunday's for the last couple of weeks or so and the rest rooms smell like not one person has ever flush the yucky yurnals..once!. again wondering what the sanitation person does all day ? He exist, we seen him put a bag of garbage in the dumpster before he informed us that AMF now opens @2 pm. Yet after the sanitation person is gone someone that deals with costumers still needs to go in and mop and Finnish cleaning the rest rooms because it wasn't done right in the first place$$$!..bottom line the place is filthy for the money!!.. read more

I have never had such a horrible experience for what was supposed to be a fun day of bowling! The staff at the front desk were so incredibly rude. I waited for 10 minutes trying to order food and never got to place my order, even after looking directly at the man and asking if I can place a food order! The woman at the front desk literally argued with me when I was trying to pay for my game. She said there was nobody under my name and I said I just finished a game, I should have just walked out without paying at that point. By the way it was almost $12 for my 1 game and pair of shoes which is outrageous. Then once she finally does ring me up and swipes my card she so rudely walks away and turns her back to me before I even got to sign my receipt. I then ask if we are all set and she just says mmmhmm! I will never go to this horrible blowing ally again and I would suggest others think twice before you waist your time and money! The only good thing I can say is Rich the bartender was very polite and friendly, the drinks were a bit pricy but I didn't mind because he was so kind and attentive. read more
