BMG contains all my physicians from primary care to all my specialist as well. Been coming here forever, between 325 and 295 Essjay. 325 is definitely more updated and modern, while 295 could use some updates. Check in is always easy, I use the MyChart app and do everything from my phone, so upon arrival I just go up to my doctor's office. The stand out for me is the lab services. It is quick and I have not had a bad blood draw yet. Which I am prone to at other spots. I was not use to getting pricked just once until here, to big shout out to them for hiring competent blood draw folks!! I love all the doctors I see and have seen here at the facilities. read more

One star is far too high a rating for Jonathan Edelson (Pulmonologist). First visit was December 2022 due to extreme shortness of breath. I was informed X-rays did not show any issues and following a Pulmonary Function Test in 2023 Dr. Edelson's advice was to get more exercise. Never suggested any further testing or pulmonary rehab! After continuous searching for causes of my breathing issue my primary doctor suggested making an appointment with a different pulmonologist at Buffalo Medical Group; however, I was refused to see that doctor because I had previously been seen by Edelson. Finally, summer of 2025 I located an excellent Pulmonologist who is "wonderful" - sent me for CT scan revealing I have Pulmonary Fibrosis and referred me for rehab to a great Pulmonary physical therapy group which has been a tremendous help teaching breathing exercises. read more

terrible experience with a doctor named Jana Buffalo Medical Group. She was completely incompetent and couldn't even do a basic assessment of an elderly geriatric patient. She didn't know the difference between the fact that my mother had just left her hairdressers and she walked through the parking lot on a day when the wind was blowing 30 mph and messed up her hair and then she wrote up in her that nobody's taking care of her hair unkept. As well as anything everything she assessment was wrong. And when I complained they refused to remove all of . Crazy. Walking in there is limited parking. They probably need to do that better for people who are really sick or mobility challenged. Then you stand on line waiting for a bank of receptionists. Many aren't masked. And coughing. It's a drs office. There are going to be sick people. Require masks. Like other drs offices. The operations of this building are not safety focused. I have been a patient at Buffalo Medical Group since I was19. I received excellent car, despite a lot of diagnoses, and I'm now 76. I don't expect health care to stay like it was then, but to see some of my best physicians have to rush to pack more patients in, stand up to document between patients is a prediction for errors. Especially irritating is the question on every survey,"Did you wait more than 10 minutes?" ( might state 5 minutes..). That constant rushing leads to errors and loss of support staff, which compromises quality of care. I have excellent doctors, and most of them expect me to bring a list of my concerns, which I always do. But, that "pack them in" mentality does not say quality care, especially for complex patients, it says $$$ and frustration. Wait time when calling is irritating, especially when you are disconnected after 12 minutes. read more

This place is not all what it claims to be. Their so-called mission statement is "Treating people well" is nothing but a BIG FAT LIE. I had a situation with my primary doctor Dr. Eric W-----r who was far from a doctor and do not deserve that title. I got sick and was in total communication with him through their messaging center for a whole week with a very high temp. My temp was so high at one point I called him at 3 AM in the morning and he did not advise me real professional help instead he felt as though he was disturbed and told me to take some Tylenol and that was it. This went on for about a week with me having a high temp and staying in close communication with him throughout the day. Finally the end of the week on a Sunday I was so sick and weak my sister came by my house and immediately got me to the emergency room hospital and I was diagnosed with pneumonia. I had to stay in the hospital for a couple of days not once when I was in communication with Dr. W did he recommend me going to the hospital. I would advise anyone not to go to Buffalo medical group. The whole facility is only concerned about money and not the care of the patients the doctors are not worth a dime. This almost cost me my life and they did nothing about it. Please Beware! Beware! This place is a total scam! Patient beware! I've had several experiences with this conglomerate of a group. There scaming there patients by telling them they have to get all there cat scans, mris ect, at there group because otherwise it will take WEEKS TO GET APPROVAL through there insurance and be made to wait longer. That is not true and is coercing the patoehts to stsy in house to make the money off of these tests themselves! Now there coercing patoejts to sign a credit card form before they can even check in for a visit that will make it where patients are not protected by the NYS medical billing laws or the government laws making Buffalo Medical Group not liable. BMG, " Treating people well"! I beg to differ. This group ONLY cares about the money coming in. It is a money monger and the doctors dont care about you, you are just a number. This was never so evident to me, when I received a certified letter that my doctor Found it necessary to inform me that she was withdrawing as my physician due to disruption in the doctor-patient relationship!!??? I was absolutely blown away. I didn't know what I did?? I felt like a criminal, I went back to the portal to look at emails that Doctor and I were sending back and forth to make sure I didn't offend anyone, ( which I hadnt). Dr. Christine Cameron was withdrawing as my doctor, I found this out when I called the office, because I didn't get my blood work in a timely manner and that I hadn't scheduled a follow up. WTF. I did get my blood work done ( yes after a few months) and had been corresponding a bit about the results on the "Portal". As a matter of fact, we had discussed me follwoing up with my GI, who is not in their practice. AT NO TIME, was I warned that they would withdrawl as my doctor, If I didn't do something they asked. I was told over the phone, DOCTOR doesn't give warnings. UNBELIEVABLE . I finally found a Doc that I liked, and then POOF. I was unbelievably upset as I have never been fired, from anything. These practices now are all about Money and NOT about patient care! My past 5 years of life have been extremely stressful with a sick daughter and other personal matters that have blown up my life. I scheduled an annually physical exam at Buffalo Medical Group. Preventive care is covered 100% by my health insurance. This appointment should be no out of pocket charge for me. However, this place charges a copay new patients and not covered by insurance. I cancelled my appointment when I found out about this BS new patient copay of $233. read more

Multiple issues with this company. Primary care has canceled my apts multiple times without notifying me. Obgyn had screwed up multiple times during my pregnancy visits. After giving them multiple chances and consistently getting let down, I found a new doctor. My husband had a different primary care doctor in the group and walked out of the building when he found out his apt time was an hour before the doctor even comes into the office. read more

My Primary Do tor is located here & she is a phenomenal physician. The building is really clean. Most of the staff is SUPER nice. I also come to this building for my "Sports Doctor". He is great too. The exam rooms are all nice & clean. The lobby is nice & plenty of room to sit, as well as a self working store. You pick what u want, scan it at a machine & pay for it there. Very convenient. Pricey , but convenient. I don't mind driving all the way here for my appointments. The waiting time is usually very short. A+++ read more

Finding a specialist can be intimidating. My GYN recommended Dr. Burkhard, a wonderful choice. I was totally impressed with Buffalo Medical Group's Dr. Valerie Burkhard. BMG building is easy to navigate, and communication scheduling appointments, paying co-pay, and online/portal access is spot on. From the first visit, every member of BMG I interacted with was kind, friendly and supportive. Dr. Burkhard's department was staffed with courteous professionals as was the imaging department. I see Dr. Ann Wands along with her PA Pam Burton - both me and my husband have seen Dr. Wands for quite some time now - over 5 years. Dr. Wands is a D.O. - we actually followed her PA from another practice we used to go to and then started seeing Dr. Wands as our primary. Dr. Wands is excellent! She is compassionate, listens carefully to you and never rushes you through an appointment - same with Pam. I have also seen Dr. Michael Jordan at BMG and he's just as compassionate and knowledgeable as Dr. Wands - he's more of a sports-medicine Doctor. I followed Dr. Wands from when she was at Lifetime Health - this is a bit farther out in Williamsville (I'm in Kenmore), than I'd like to travel, however, the drive is worth it. This is my place. I like they treatment I recieve every time I come here. Starting on the lower level at registration. I typically interact with staff that are nice and friendly. Not always but typically. When I go upstairs to the doctors offices, I tecieve good care there. I never dont typically wait long at all. Once I had an appointment and checked in down stairs. By the time I got off the elevator and went to sit down they were calling my name. My doctor well he's okay hahahaaa. I enjoy my doctor and will keep him around a while. I made an appointment with pediatric dermatologist Dr. Zoey Glick for my autistic grandson. I have waited about eight months to get this first appointment and anxiously counted down the days for this appointment to happen. I even called their office a couple weeks ago to confirm the appointment because I was nervous that after all this time the appointment could have somehow disappeared. I had originally requested the Orchard Park location because that is closer than Williamsville to travel from Dunkirk, but I could get in sooner at the Williamsville's office in just EIGHT months. Now, today, the day BEFORE my long awaited appointment they called to tell me they were cancelling the appointment because he has both BC/BS (1st) AND Fidelis (2nd) insurance. They informed me that they refuse to accept patients with Fidelis insurance, regardless of whether it is primary OR secondary insurance. They weren't even willing to keep my long awaited appointment if I gave them cash or a charge card! (although I can't imagine how expensive that would be). I am soooooo very upset that I have lost 8 months waiting for my grandson to receive care that they are no longer willing to give him. I had to wait 3 months for an appointment so I expected the office to be a nice experience. Well the building is beautiful... My appt was at 11:30 and it's now 12:40 and I am still waiting.
