The face of the business is everything and this person goes above and beyond in dedication. Every single customer I see there is treated with respect and honesty. It's also right next to Dunks, so you can walk over and get a coffee if you want while you wait. The service dept also has WiFi if you need to bring a laptop and connect to the office while you wait, which I have done before. Also in Sales, let me tell you about Charlie. When I went to buy my car at the end of the lease, he went ABOVE AND BEYOND. I had the hardest time between the forms Subaru Motors Finance wanted, and the bank I used to finance the car, and the DMV. That stuff barely involves Milford Subaru, but Charlie went above and beyond helping me understand how to properly complete the sale. He did a fantastic job and was so kind as well. It was a pleasure doing business with Vasilly and his team. :) Vasiliy called us about a new 2019 Subaru Crosstrek and offered us the lowest price we've seen and included delivery (we were from Boston). I was uneasy since I had experiences where salesmen would offer a price on the phone/email, and then when we get to the dealership, they had "forgot" about one fee or another. Vasiliy understood my hesitation and confirmed the price and terms through phone, email, and even with the General Manager Jeff before we even got to the dealership, which is a huge deal since we were coming from Boston. Jeff Diener made it extremely easy to set up our order of a brand new 2016 Crosstrek Hybrid. Then Kris Caron would keep us updated on the build. Aaron created a smooth process in the financial part. Once the car arrived, the team followed up with getting it registered and plated (since we live in MA.) All we had to do is show up and Kris welcomed us at the door. He was awesome and explained everything about the car inside and out. Painful nightmare. I purchased a used car on June 13th. The early on experience was pleasant and the salesmen were very friendly. My first issue was when they processed my loan at 14% I quickly let them know it was an issue and within minutes they had a loan at half that rate. Upon delivery the car was sent to the wrong address and unwashed. This wasn't a huge issue as the salesman promised a voucher for a detail which was never received. The first weekend the car completely broke down, attached is the picture begging my salesman for help to no response. 2 months and 4K miles later the car is a total loss as it was sold with major engine damage, nothing that can be done. PLEASE BE CAREFUL PURCHASING USED CARS FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. My salesman insisted the service due sign was nothing and within a few months a fully blown engine. I have always trusted dealerships to stand by their product, I now have learned that once the car is off the lot it is no longer their problem, BUYER BEWARE! read more

We were referred to them via the Costco Auto Program, where you fill out a form with the vehicle you want and are referred to a nearby participating dealer. Kimberly contacted me with a reasonable quote for the exact vehicle we wanted, so I said "great" and we made arrangements to meet at the dealership. She informed me that the car was at another dealership and would have to be swapped in, and solicited a $500 good-faith deposit so that she could do the swap, which I obligingly paid. The next day she had a salesman call to "get some more information." The first thing I was asked was whether I'd be financing the car. When I said I would be paying cash, I was immediately informed that the car that I'd given her the deposit to have swapped in was no longer available and that I should come in and they'd find me a car. I said I didn't want to come in until they located the same car (we knew exactly what we wanted) and Kimberly simply said "good day" and hung up. A follow-up email was met with a similar brusque non-response. It is blindingly obvious that this was a classic bait-and-switch -- the original car perfectly matching my request probably never existed, and they were going to try to sell me something more profitable when I came in, especially since they wouldn't be able to make money off the financing. Of course the Costco Auto Program is designed to bypass this kind of sleaze-as-usual business tactic, so I will be reporting my experience to them. But I can't recommend Subaru of Milford - not just because of the sleaze, but because they were downright rude after they discovered that I wasn't going to fall for the trick. read more

Overall a disappointing experience. My advice: verify and double check everything you are told, make no assumptions. Purchased a used car and it was delivered in need of a proper cleaning/detailing. Sent it back with candy wrappers in seatback pockets, rings in cup holders, finger prints on upholstery, etc and guess what... they RETURNED it with those same issues. The car was vacuumed and exterior washed, wheels brightened but nowhere near what should have been done. C'mon folks, these are the basics. These are EASY to do if you want to make the experience more than just a financial transaction. Had other issues with the car but only half hearted attempts to resolve by them. This dealership will do anything they can to sell you a car. I was in need of a vehicle and we went through the process of getting me one and they never even told me how much the car was worth, just kept saying the monthly price. This is how they scam you with spending the most amount of money, is by increasing the months in the loan so the interest is higher to make the monthly prices cheaper without ever telling you how much the car is worth so in the long run you're are paying a lot more. Believe it or not but this isn't the worst part they did. When I was getting a loan the financial guy asked me for my SSN and the first thing I said to him was "it won't run my credit multiple times will it?" He immediately came back and said no it won't. So I asked again and he assured me it wouldn't. And guess what, literally the same day I checked my credit and they ran my credit 6 different times! Again this is another way they lie to you to make you buy a car! I will never come here again and I strongly advise no one buys a car here unless you want your credit screwed! I did everything by email, comparing dealerships throughout New England, and their initial offer on a 2016 forester was better than anyone else. In fact, other dealerships couldn't believe their price and said that we should take the deal right now. We dealt with Jeff Diener and Kris Caron and they were honest and straightforward from beginning to end. One local dealership offered to beat any price by $200, but because the people at Milford were so easy to deal with, we went with their slightly higher price (still better than other dealership we found). They handled the out-of-state registration and insurance perfectly (we're in Massachusetts) and even delivered the car to our doorstep. It was almost suspicious how easy and stress-free and cheap it was to buy our car from here, but I wouldn't hesitate to do it again and recommend them to everyone. Great experience from our first contact with the dealership until the car was in our driveway and beyond (I had a question about some paperwork today and they wrote back with the answer within 5 minutes). read more

When I first arrived, the salesperson told me it was not in stock. When I turned to leave, they somehow found the car. Ok, fine, simple mistake. The test drive was fine and, even though the sales guy told me some things I know aren't true, I decided to buy. We negotiated a price, wrote up a contract, and it was given to the cashier for processing. I was given a privacy policy document to sign. It was illegible so I asked for a clean copy. Two different employees assured me that the doc states that they don't share personal info. The document stated in plain English that they clearly do share personal info. Simple mistake? Then I waited for more than half an hour (why?) only to be accosted by a very pushy man trying to sell me financing, when we had already negotiated and written a cash deal. The finance guy would not take "no" for an answer and he hounded me until I decided to leave. In other words, my experience was no different from any average sleazy car dealership. AMAZING NIGHT! Subaru of Milford has a family centered approach to selling cars. We have never experienced buying a car like this. My car failed inspection and needed 4 new tires. Instead of fixing up my Honda we spent the weekend going to 2 other dealerships with no luck. My husband decided he would email this dealership and see if they could get me in a 2014 Impreza without paying more than the sticker price and keeping me in the payment range I needed to be in. I have waited over a month to write this review-hoping the dealership would be responsive. .....My daughter recently bought a used Subaru from the Subaru Milford dealership..When we went to get the car, it was dirty; and when cleaned for the second time, at our insistence, it was returned and still dirty-seats stained, pine needles in the trunk area. We were told it was clean by their standards. When we got home with the car, we found that the rear windshield wiper was broken, and the oil had not even been changed. It was only changed at our insistence- as their attitude and response was that the previous owner had changed the oil and there was still mileage left before it was due to be changed again! The CD player was broken. We found the owner of the dealership unresponsive, salesperson never called to ask if he could help in any way. Worst customer service ever. We contacted them on at least three occasions to get some sort of response-never got a call back. There is a saying in business, if you like our service, tell others; if not, tell us...I tried-they really don't care. read more

I came to Subaru of Milford with an urgent need for a new car. After my internet search I received a call from the other dealership, which was introduced to me as the largest and the best Subaru dealership in New England that offers the lowest possible prices. When I mentioned that I was not on the market for dealerships, but only for one car, I was told that such car as I wanted (2015 Legacy 3.6R Limited) "did not exist in New England" but may be ordered and would arrive in 8 to 12 weeks; I was also given a quote, which was, in fact, not bad. Then I received an email and a call from the Subaru of Milford Internet Sales Manager Kimberly DeWitt. True, they did not have such a car, but she promised to try to find it in other dealerships around. As for the price, she asked $650 less than in the "largest and best Subaru dealership in New England"! Within several hours a car I wanted was found in Vermont (which I always considered a part of New England) and basically the deal was over. Remarkably, Kimberly did not waste my time for stories about how good they were in Milford Subaru, allowing me to judge myself, which I did. From this point on I dealt with the Sales Consultant Aaron Bachelder. There was still a lot of issues to resolve, like shipping to Vermont a car they wanted there for a swap, and not only that, and everything was settled down by Aaron and his managers efficiently and professionally. My concerns were addressed in a friendliest way, and Aaron patiently answered all my numerous questions. It is difficult for me to imagine, what could they do better than they did.
