Customer service-very poor My 17 year old bought a car there. The check engine light came on 20 minutes after purchasing the car(which was "inspected") We were given the car with no gas in it. After bringing it back to be fixed, it took nearly 3 months to get it back. We asked for a loaner after 2 1/2 month of waiting for the car to be "fixed." The car was repaired shortly after they reluctantly gave us a loaner. No apologies were given after waiting so long to get her car back. I would not recommend buying a car from this establishment. read more

My daughter made an appointment for a test drive. We arrived 15 mins early. They couldn't find the keys. I found the keys in the ignition. She went to start it and it was dead. They had to charge the battery. The car died when she put it in park during her test drive. Had to jump it. Not organized or competent. Wouldn't recommend. read more

We bought a car for my son there, a Toyota Camry with 120,000 miles on it.  For $6,500 it lasted only 12,000 miles.  The first year it needed $900 of work to pass inspection and the second year $1000 to pass inspection.   This year the estimate is $4,800 to pass inspection.  Selling someone a car for $6,500 with another $1,900 put into it that lasts twelve thousand miles means we basically paid 70¢ a mile to own it.   I guess I will say, the sales and service people are friendly.  But this situation is not what I'd want to go through again. read more

On the positive side the dealership accepted the blue book value of my Toyota 4runner sight unseen and gave me a good price on the 2011 of the same make and model. The issue I initially had was with the title not being processed correctly as well as the warranty. I bought the elite warranty because I was told by the deal that it included struts. I wanted that because I knew that with the miles on the car it would need them soon. As predicted, the struts have worn out and need new ones. I called the warranty company only to find out that struts aren't included in my elite warranty. The owner sold me on this level of warranty, so I wouldn't trust his word without it being in writing and signed by him. read more

Frank & the gang at Neat Auto Sales in Merrimack NH really made me comfortable, and they treated me like a person. In the car sales arena, this is rare, indeed! My employment is rather unique, with three part time jobs, which often makes it difficult to get financing. There is a lot of explaining to do, and even though my credit score is good, the lenders sometimes have a problem approving a loan. Neat Auto worked hard to find me a "yes" to financing. What's more incredible is that they didn't stop there, but ended up finding me a second, even BETTER rate! They really jumped through the hoops to help me make the purchase viable. I would never suggest this place to anyone. They lied about what was wrong with the vehicle I bought and put a sticker on it leading me to believe it was fine. I went to get a sticker three month later and failed. I brought it back to their mechanic showing him why it failed and was told they were wrong and he put another sticker on the car. I proceeded to take it to my mechanic and was told it needed a bunch of work and by this time the warranty was up. So in short do not buy a car from them they will lie to you about everything and put a sticker on it just to sell it. Very dishonest people. One star is to many. read more

I will start by saying that finding a used car that is worth purchasing is no easy task. So with that being said, Neat Auto Sales is disappointing to say the least. I went to Neat in search of a vehicle a few weeks ago. My boyfriend who is a 14 year master Subaru tech came along to help me find the right one. We set our sights on a 2008 Subaru Legacy with all the bells and whistles. When looking over the vehicle, we informed them of his experience with these vehicles. To start, the purchasing process was as difficult as it could get. They lied about the loan and the requirements of it. I have never seen so many people with their hands on one deal or the inability to be able to communicate. Once we got through that process, we went to pick up the car on a Wednesday. My boyfriend went over the vehicle again with a fine tooth comb to make sure everything was good. Engine was clean, car looked clean. Everything was good. There were a few things missing from the vehicle that they agreed to order and we could pick up at a later time. Though the remote start that was advertised in the listing, but didn't really exist on the car, wouldn't be done. Fine.. Thursday afternoon I went home from work. Went inside the house and when I came out there was smoke dumping out of the engine bay. We threw the car up on ramps to find that the head gaskets were leaking so bad onto the catalytic converter that it was now a fire hazard. I will tell you, they did an amazing job cleaning the engine before I picked it up Wednesday. There is no way that within 1 day of having the car that this because such a serious issue. BTW, it is illegal to inspect a vehicle in this condition, which they did. Upon calling them to explain what was happening. They stated they could fix the car within the next few weeks but no earlier. When I told them that this was not ok and I have 4 children's lives to worry about. Along with the fact that they had no concern for any of our lives, they just told us to just.. bring the car back. "Bring it back and we will just give you back your money, your to difficult." Exact words. At the end of the day and to cut this story short. They paid my boyfriend to do the job so they didn't have to help us anymore. When we took the car apart, comes to find out that a vehicle with 119K miles on it had original spark plugs, original coolant, leaking belt tensioner, original timing belt, Definitely had a head gasket leak, tires are chopped, the transmission fluid is black and I will assume the gear oil in the front and rear differential hasn't been done either. I haven't found the other problems yet but I'm sure they will come about in no time. So to end this, I will just say. Looking for a quality car? Don't go here. I have bought a few cars in my life and this has been the first place that made me feel like they don't care about the customer and their lives. But hey.. I have heated seats! read more

I am impressed. I had my last car 8+ years and was not sure about purchasing a car from any used car dealer. I found just what i was looking for here at a great price. There was a problem with the alignment and tires when i tested the car. They fixed it and put all new tires on it the very next day. I had to bring it back for a sensor issue less than a week after purchasing. They took care of it fast, let me use another car for the day, and did not charge me a dime. I wouldn't even give this place one or even a half a star. Tried to sell me a rotted out car that had been in the flood. This car reeked of mold and was rotting from the undercarriage up. Carpets had been completely replaced and the whole undercarriage resealed to hide the fact that the car was literally rotting away. When I asked questions about the car no one could give me an answer. No one here was helpful in my car buying experience. All and all this place sucks and will try to sell you illegal cars that will rot out and fall apart. Good thing I had my mechanics check the car before I bought the car.
