I went to the Manahawkin facility Thursday 1/28/21. The facility itself is new and clean and when you walk in it automatically registers your temperature. The AMI receptionist was great. The young lady who took me in the back was very nice and friendly, very welcoming. They notify you ahead of time that for the MRI you will need to take off your clothing and they give you a gown and scrub pants to put on. The lockers are large and even have long enough lockers with hooks so you do not have to shove everything in a little space as I have experienced other places. There was sanitizer so I was able to wipe everything down before putting my belongings in the locker and had the key to lock it. Chris came to get me, told me to take my time changing, and took me into the MRI room. They asked me the questions about metal on or in the body a few times which was good. The MRI technicians Chris, Gena and Subrina were extremely professional, friendly and thorough. They explained the procedure and made sure I was comfortable. I did not need the earphones for music and they offered to put it on in the room, which was nice. I was given earplugs. They were extremely careful to follow Covid procedures for a sanitary procedure experience where I did not have to worry about getting covid. They also let me know that the MRI itself would take 15 minutes, which I appreciated knowing. The machine to produce a CD was broken. When I called the next day to see if I could pick up the CD and the report, I was told it might take a week for the CD to be available to me. I have a huge THANK YOU for Jill, who took my call, and went the extra mile to find out if we could get the information to my doctor another way as my dr. appointment was the following Monday, Feb. 1st. She let me know they could email the imaging and the report to my doctor and this way, I did not enough have to go back to pick it up. I've been here several times and ALWAYS walked out feeling so glad that I finally found a place that actually cares and the people that work there are happy ..what a difference! Everyone is professional , kind , funny and take the time to answer questions and also explain things to you. They don't make you feel like you're asking silly questions and they also don't make you feel rushed. They go the extra mile and that includes all the staff from reception ,intake ,specialties and doctors. I can't say enough about AMI,. Reports are promptly sent to doctors. The excellent entire staff of Manahawkin from the counter to technicians and the amazing, knowledgeable, professional compassionate and caring Dr Saad who does perfect, accurate Gastrointestinal studies is absolutely one the the best Drs I have ever seen. With numerous, acute, medical issues involving spine and multiple organs, having been to so many facilities this is the best testing facility in South Jersey by far. I would recommend AMI Atlanticare for several reasons! Kind and courteous staff, the technicians are very knowledgeable and Dr O'Laughlin has always been so helpful above and beyond. He even helped with an issue I had a question about unrelated to my visit last year. This year was so helpful in answering an additional question related to my recent visit! The place is always clean, is accommodating and has very friendly staff! Great with kids too. We are in and out quickly even though the ultrasound tech spends a lot of time and is thorough. Never a bad experience here. The cd printer was not working and instead of saying I just couldn't get it, they gave me options as to how I would like to receive the cd, either go to another location to get it today or wait a week and pick it up there. I set up my appointment online and it was very easy! On day of the appointment, I called and the staff was very friendly and helpful! The facility is really nice, clean and the staff are great! The tech who performed my mammogram was so kind, talked me through it, gentle and professional. After I was done she explained what happens next and reassured me. Wonderful place! read more

I am new to the Manahawkin area and I was very pleased to find an imaging center that is just as good as my facilities in Northern NJ. The staff are always very efficient with paperwork and forms. The technicians are well trained and have very good communication skills. I go there for annual routine tests and any other needed imaging. read more

I love this place. The staff was super helpful and accommodating. I had an appointment for an x-ray scheduled 45 minutes from my mammogram and the technician said, I'm not going to make you wait that long. I will do it myself and got me out quicker than I imagined.
