On Nov. 5, he chose to send me a substitute. I told this guy that he needed to FIRST check out my electronic master board - it had caused any and all problems in the past. Nearly 3 hours later, after who knows what, Dylan informed me that I needed a new board. When he left that day, I asked when he'd be back, he said about 11 am next day. Next day the 6th, around 11:30 am, I called to Dylan cell phone. He said "later that day." By just after 1 pm, I had a call from Paul. He proceeded, in presence of a witness who was with me, to berate me and told me not to call incessantly. Huh? I explained my ONE call, so Paul tells me that when they have the board, HE will tell me! The entire call was hateful and rude. On the 7th, upon leaving at 4 pm, I paid the LM invoice (excessively high price, close to cost of a new furnace) and furnace was running. I got up on the 8th, and I could tell the house was not warm enough. I checked and the furnace was no longer kicking on. I again turned off all power to the furnace, finding out I could barely get the furnace door off (because Dylan had put it on so cock-eyed I couldn't remove it easily.) I called LM to Paul and got recording... "we don't work on Friday." After no callback, I called another known HVAC company. I also stopped payment at the bank on the check to LM. The 2nd owner was at my house at noon on Nov. 9th, a Saturday. My furnace was fixed by him, and runs fine now. On Monday Nov 11, next was a text-only from Paul at LM, "check didn't clear!" asked me to pay. I was still mad, and not in a negotiating mood. ON TOP of screwing me around with children working on my furnace, Paul berating me on the phone, treating me like anything but a customer, he texted me a threat of what HE now needed to do. If Mr. Castillo does not want to do residential jobs, or really cares less about customers, sends them useless unqualified workers in his place, he should just reject taking those jobs in the first place. Leave the work to competent HVAC businesses who know customer service.

He was polite, helpful and honest. He managed to squeeze me in and came by my house first thing in the morning. His prices were fair, he was professional and he got my heat on in under an hour. We also contacted Lowe's about buying a new water heater from them that their contractor would install. Long story short: we couldn't believe how expensive the quotes were - especially when it came to bringing everything up to code (our old water heater was installed before the latest codes, and when we purchased our home in 2016 our home inspector never mentioned any code issues with it .) One company that came out to give us a quote added an extra $1200 just to bring everything up to code. A project we expected to cost about $1500-$2000 quickly grew to nearly double that amount. In frustration I posted the job on Home Advisor one evening... and in about one minute I got a call from Rick at R&R. What impressed me right away was: he completely understood what we needed, he agreed with me that some companies were overcharging, and he said he'd come over and look at the job the next day. And he did just that. His quote was thorough and fair, and we were happy to hire him. He returned with a second plumber and they worked quickly and efficiently to deliver and install a new water heater and make sure it was up to code. It was truly a pleasure to work with R&R - we plan to use them for all our plumbing needs in the future. They came by almost 2 weeks ago, and I asked politely no fewer than 5 times to get my quote. I was told that they would get it to me ASAP, but their definition of soon is very different than mine. Especially after they already went through the trouble of writing it up! All they had to do was spend 20 seconds writing an email. I guess that's just a bridge too far for some people. I took it as an indication of dysfunction over there after my second request, but I wanted to see what they came in at so I could compare it to the other quotes I got. This whole experience with them has been pretty ridiculous.

I never wrote a review (would have been good) because they performed at a level I expected all such company's would perform at. I'm writing this review because it is different this time. They made three trips, had to get parts, including a control panel from Carrier (first one was defective, and so got another), and when I got the bill, I was very surprise that they charged me for the three parts (but only one panel), and only a couple hours for the last service call. They didn't charge anything for the first two service calls. The bill was a little over half what I expected as they didn't charge for all the time they worked on it. We spent 35k to have Williams Mechanical replace three units three years ago; we had a very…read morepositive experience with this transaction. Annette and her team were responsive, their quote was competitive and the work was completed on time and well done. Because of this experience, we continued to use Williams for all of our plumbing needs. The last couple of experiences with in the last year have been less than positive (apparently they weren't able to keep plumbers for a period of time, so there was difficulty getting them out for plumbing jobs, long response times, multiple visits to complete one job), but because of our initial experiences, we continued to use Williams Mechanical. I contacted the office this week to request someone to come out due to an urgent (not emergency) plumbing issue on a part that Williams Mechanical had previously replaced. The office said they "couldn't find the paperwork" for the job (despite me having the invoice in my hand). I e-mailed Annette (owner) and she replied saying that she would get back to me by the end of the day - she didn't, nor did the office. I waited two days, then called and e-mailed the office and Annette again - no response. I again waited another day and e-mailed Annette again - no response. We are now 5 days out from when we initially contacted Williams and have an emergency plumbing issue. If you had asked me three years ago, I would have given Williams Mechanical 5 stars without a doubt. Tens of thousands of dollars of business and three years later, my opinion has completely changed. If you are looking for a responsive company who values your business, I can't say that you will find this at Williams Mechanical.

Lo and behold our radiant heating was not clicking on. We called around to the usual big names and they were all booked out for days or weeks. We remembered we heard a commercial on the radio foe Bosque and gave them a call. We were hesitantly optimistic. Lucky for us they had availability the next day! We were kind of worried that the quick turnaround would mean astronomical prices. Boy, were we mistaken! The gentleman arrived when he said he would and was communicative on his way here. He identified the problem immediately and told us what it would run us. It was a very very very reasonable price. He got it done and got out of our hair leaving the place cleaner than he found it. We now have this business saved in our contacts and wouldn't think of using anyone else.
