    Rhode Island Comic Con 2023
    Stephanie T.

Though I never truly attended a game or show at Amica Mutual Pavilion - The AMP, I have been to the Box Office to purchase tickets and the AMP has some Rhode Island Comic Con events. The AMP's Box Office is in the main lobby. There are stairs leading to the main entrance and a ramp located adjacent to the main entrance for guests requiring accessibility. The Box Office is open Monday-Friday, 9 am - 5 pm and select Saturdays and Sundays during event season. The staff I've encountered at the box office have always been helpful and friendly. Rhode Island Comic Con is a three-day comic convention held during November at the AMP, Rhode Island Convention Center, and Omni Providence Hotel. The upper concourse of AMP has vendors, concessions, and show store. The lower concourse of AMP has opportunities to get celebrities autographs, vendors, concessions, and sensory reduced area. The AMP is huge and Rhode Island Comic Con uses this space really well.

This was a nice event graduation class CCRI 2025. We had the privilege to be invited to the private section where they served food and open bar. The views from up top are beautiful it is very spacious. I didn't have food but I did have a cocktail. Everyone was welcoming and attentive. Service was great

    2025 first/second NCAA bball seating

The inside of the arena seating area is very comfortable and good seats in most locations. The concourse is way too small to host an all day event like an NCAA tournament. The men's bathrooms are tiny and the lines are long. Had to wait a very long time to use the restroom which means missing parts or the event you are attending. Highly recommend they expand and renovate the restrooms. There was no line at the women's restrooms so maybe convert a few of those to men's. Otherwise pleasant arena for one that is this old.

People throwin shade at this spot! Having traveled with tours, I really love this venue. Legit not a bad seat in the house. Concerts, sports, special events, they do it all! Albeit they sold out to the man, and are now named after a trashy insurance company rather than our beloved coffee and donut supplier. From parking to exit, I will always give top reviews for this spot. Haters finna hate! Their salty ways only season the nachos I buy here ahaaaaa

I have been to the Dunk' for tons of venues. Concerts, the circus, comic con so on and so forth. I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. I park at the mall for a measly $2 for up to four hours and walk over. Getting out of the garage can be a hassle but that is a given going to a concert. Beers are over prices but not as much as other places ::cough cough Xfinity:: A plus is there are tons of local eatery around the Drunk... I mean Dunk, to partake in before or after a show.

Recently went to the Dunkin Donut's Center for my daughters college graduation from Johnson & Whales. The place was well laid out and clean. They had over 1800 graduates in the time slot my daughter graduated then at 2pm they had another 1800. was impressed with how smoothly things went and how fast and efficient they went threw all the graduates.

I recently attended the Stars on Ice Show here. My daughter actually skated in the show so I was in the arena for a good 8 hours. It's a smaller arena - at least compared to the Boston area venues. No upper tier seating. The seating was very hit or miss. At first we were seated at end Ice to watch practice. Seats were comfortable, lots of leg room. A little while later we were moved over to Ice side seats at center ice. These seats were super skinny. I was literally bumping shoulders with my neighbors. Lastly we moved to our show seats. These seats were wider but had no leg room. My knees were constantly bumping the seat in front of me. Just based on seating alone I would opt not to attend events at this venue should other options exist.

Great take for the Family. To bad they raised the Beer Prices Still fun . Let's go P Bruins !!!

    Monster Jam

Received a gift of tickets to see a Monster Jam monster truck show at this venue, so it was a large enough venue to host big trucks hitting jumps and crushing vehicles. There wasn't a bad seat in the place for a show like that. Beer was extremely overpriced however, I paid $23 for 2 Budweiser's. You're better off saving your money and hitting a bar before buying booze at this venue. Other than that, I'd see a show here again.

I attended a Providence Bruins game and not only was my view fantastic, but the seats were really comfortable.

Happy 100th Birthday Brown University Stadium!…read more Constructed in 1925, this stadium continues to host athletic events against its Ivy League competitors. Though capacity boasts 20,000 people, I would say crowds are typically much more conservative in size. I have attended a healthy handful of Brown University football games at this stadium in recent years. It is truly an enjoyable way to spend a few hours on a crisp New England Fall weekend afternoon with friends. Regarding the stadium facilities, there is a large, trapezoid-shaped concrete structure with metal bleachers on the home team side of the field. The cold can really get into your bones on particularly cool days so I always try to bring a layer to sit on (bonus if it's cushioned!). Restrooms and University food vendors are located underneath/inside the structure. They also bring in lots of port-a-potty's and restroom trailers to supplement. The food is reasonable priced and includes typical stadium food. That said, they also host several, rotating food trucks parked on the away team side. There's a small beer garden as well, though in recent years, they started selling beer throughout the stadium and you can finally enjoy it in the stands versus the beer garden alone. With everything somewhat spread out, there is a bit of walking involved to hit up all the amenities. Honestly, nothing more New England/Rhode Island than taking in an Ivy League football game on a Saturday while snacking on clam cakes and chowder from Blount's Clam Shack food truck and sipping on a Narragansett Brown Bear Pale Ale. The field was recently converted from grass to turf which gives it an updated look and some safety features for the athletes. You can purchase nearby parking if you want to be close by and tailgate up to game time (no re-entry) but I hear there is also ample street parking in the area if you don't mind walking a bit. Small pro-shop available for all your team spirited needs. They host a number of events (e.g. employee appreciation days) to bring a little something different to the games. Fun engagement with the crowds such as on-field mini competitions, t-shirt cannons, cheerleading routines, mini cannon firing, bell tolling, raffle tickets, etc. Having attended a Texas Longhorns game in the last couple months (insane), Brown Stadium offers something vastly different... a cozier, hometown feel that doesn't require a lot of fuss or pre-planning.

This is a historic stadium in the middle of a residential neighborhood about a 1/2 mile from…read morecampus. Some small parking lots and plenty of on street parking nearby. The home grandstand is classic several rows of concrete bleachers all rest rooms and concessions are located underneath the grandstand. Since the venue is used only a handful times each year the bathrooms need a major update and the concession stands have very good food, but sometime long lines. Great place to tailgate and ticket prices and prepaid parking in the lots are both very affordable.
