We ordered a large cheese pizza tonight for delivery for the family. This is not some chain with automation and AI agents. You order a pizza here and it takes a while to get to you. We waited for over an hour. The pizza is worth the wait, though. Not earth-shattering, but definitely has the taste of being made by a place that cares. Definitely one of the best in the area. The large is truly large. It borders on mammoth. The crust was the right mix of crunchy and chewy. Very good all around.

    Burnt cheese and pasta.

Horrible pasta. BURNT BAKED ZITI. Last week was burnt garlic bread. Very inconsistent servings. Amicis has lost is integrity. 20+ years and almost always an issue.

    Next day!!

Came by to eat it at Amici's and have a great time. I have to say I've taken takeout from here and the pizza is very good. I love the decor, especially that big backdrop NY picture. They have behind the red wall really brings home back. Now for the food; first they have a full bar. Everybody in the staff is very nice. Bartenders are nice. They're very attentive and they have a lot of great appetizers . now we tried the Bolognese pasta and it was amazing but this time we came in for Pizza . Also, great prices on wine so I had a glass of chianti and I also had a drink , very reasonable pricing. We ordered the onions and peppers and sausage pizza and it was amazing large slices and this is not like your regular large slice is not that are not even bigger than your hand, I mean these are large slices enough for us to have lunch the next day. So to make a long story short the crust was great, great sauce , love the ingredients are fresh and a sausage is crumbled my favorite. This is probably my favorite place. The garlic bread is amazing. It's kind of like fluffy not too thick with plenty of oil and garlic just the right way. Again I can't say enough the Bolognese pasta is amazing. It's probably one of the best I've had and so is the rest of their menu and they always have great specials always on the board. Staff is very friendly. The owner is always there. He's always saying hello everybody! this is what a restaurant should be like. I really enjoy my time here and definitely will come back.

My husband and I come in to amici's at least once a month and also order take out, maybe twice a month. Food and service are always great. Today we placed our take out order , my husband goes to pick up & they realized they gave our order to someone else - no biggie , he waits , unfortunately because of this delay he was not able to eat before going into work, but it's okay . He drops off our food and there is no sauce on my pizza.. I ordered a pizza with "white sauce, ham & mushrooms" .. I call the store and the manager not once , not twice , but three times insists I confused them when I placed my order because I didn't say "Alfredo pizza".. so pretty much saying it was my fault even though I explained I wanted "white sauce on my pizza".. anyway he offered to make an "Alfredo pizza" but at this point I was over how he handled it, so I told him to forget it. I drove to the store with the full pizza box , the hostess apologized for the misunderstanding (she was very nice) she went to get the manager, & he came up as if nothing , issued the refund , no apology no nothing .. remember , they also messed up giving away our order . its 7:20pm on 7/9/2025- I want to say the managers name is Enrique.

The Fettuccine Alfredo with Shrimp aka spaghetti with shrimp in Pomodoro sauce requested order was very tasty. The only issue that I had with this order is that even though the Pomodoro sauce and al dente pasta were delicious, the shrimp were medium than usual and the texture was a bit soft and smushy vs jumbo-sized and firm-sized and firm. The Lentil Soup was mildly flavored and tasty. My husband and kids LOVE the Spaghetti with Meatballs. The side of parmesan garlic bread were too soaked in olive oil. So much so that only two member of my household finished them and the other two did not like them because the soaked oil was over whelming. The small Amici's Side Salad was fresh. Though I requested a side salad dressing for all salads and we got a 1/4 cup of olive oil with unsalted grounded spices inside of the oil. However, not exactly what we asked for. The side 1/4 cups grounded parmesan cheese was delicious with the pastas. So, thanks for doing that right!

Will not complain as the manager went over and beyond to make things right so I give it 4 stars. If you are a regular/familiar with the miami restaurant scene, It's all about how you feel at the end of the night- at this dinner the manager made it right. Btw if you want your pasta to be served alongside your main protein choice tell your server and make sure he understands. Otherwise you will be eating it separately. That being said, over all the food & portions were good. We were a group of 8 and ordered many dishes. Some worth mentioning were the prawns in green sauce, the Branzino and the steak. Yes.... Will go back again.

This was short lived and after a little while we were invisible. Our server was nice enough but she was definitely not friendly, did not make any recommendations and barely smiled (not even at our 6 year old!). When she brought our dishes, she dropped off and literally ran away. We had to flag her down for parmesan and then didn't see her again throughout our whole meal until we asked the busboy (who we saw more than her) for dessert menus. No one bothered to clean our table full of crumbs in between. She did not ask us not once if we needed anything. However, she was quite able to chat and smile up a storm with a large party next to us who ordered tons of wine and food. This did not feel like fine dining The food was actually pretty good. It was nice that they allowed us to have Miami Spice entrees if we wanted to since they weren't on the menu. The Pear ravioli with goat cheese was delicious. My husband got the pasta with black squid and said it was ok... The pistacchio cake for dessert was just OK. And fyi they charge $10 to park in their lot, Might as well park in the street. I really I really wanted to like it but the service left a bad taste in my mouth sadly.

The menu is concise, to the point and mainly focused on traditional and/or comfort food in this case Italian. I can't believe I had it saved for so many years but today I got to experience some of the best food I've had in the city with the most remarkable service ever. This is a family owned restaurant and as a customer I felt as family too. Beto, the owner, makes you feel like part of his extended family from the moment you step foot in the joint and all throughout your culinary adventure. I hadn't made reservations and he made sure to find me a table for one even though it was super busy at the time. He also recommended a few dishes but ultimately convinced me to try one of the chef's specials which I've been talking about till this day. His staff is also very attentive and diligent. Having said that let me break down what I ate with a nice chilled glass of wine: Antipasto: Burratina...Fresh homemade burrata mozzarella on top of thin slices of prosciutto, basil and extra-virgin olive oil. Served with roasted red peppers and tomatoes. All fresh and with high quality ingredients without a doubt. I wanted something light before the pasta and this was very filling so I couldn't finish it but... Entre: Chef's special...Pappardelle Patagonia. Green flat homemade noodle with vodka sauce, Italian sausage, pancetta, mushrooms and fresh herbs. This was one of the best pasta dishes I've had in my life. Perfectly cooked "al dente" with a creamy vodka sauce that'd have you wanting to lick the damn plate. That Italian sausage was also so divine and they don't skimp on portions or ingredients. I'm glad Beto suggested this one instead of the Pappardelle Italian sausage. Dolci: cheesecake. I have no idea how I still had a little bit of room for dessert after that feast but this cheesecake was all worth it. Not overly sweet and very rich and velvety. This is arguably one of the best Italian joints in town. Just delicious Italian comfort food made with love and excellent service to got with it. Beto offered an espresso to end this extraordinary meal. He takes the time to go to every table and make sure customers are taken care of and that's what makes the difference. These are the type of restaurants that leave a lasting impression on their patrons and make them come back time after time.

The hostesses (2) told us 45', we agreed. I asked to go to the bar to have drinks, we were told we couldn't (the bar had some open seats). I said OK, I'll order the drink and we wait outside, hostess was annoyed at that suggestion. She said if we wanted a drink, we'd have to go to their sister restaurant (which was packed). After 1hr 15' (we stayed outside waiting, no drinks), we checked in and the hostess rudely told us that she can't foresee when people will leave. So we took our $350 check to Hillstones, where they value regulars. We have dined at Luca before and love their food, but seems like success has gotten to the hostess' heads. Restaurants, especially in Miami, succeed and survive from the loyal locals, not from tourists nor fads. Seems that Luca has forgotten that. We're happy to take our business elsewhere, even a chain restaurant who values repeat customers.
