Not a favorite in Miami but it was pretty up there. I came here on a Thursday night with no reservations and was told it would be an hour wait inside. Or we can just sit outside. I went for outside since we were so hungry. We did notice that those without reservations that were seen waiting maybe had to wait about 20-30 minutes instead. Once seated we were given complementary bread which was nice. Our waiter went through the menu with us and told us the specials. We were also told all their pastas were hand made, as can be seen through the window, and was highly recommended. We started with the carpaccio di polpo, which was an octopus carpaccio. It had a zesty lemon taste which was delicious and a great start. For food we shared their paccheri con gamberi e pistacchi pasta and a lobster ravioli. The paccheri con gamberi e pistacchi was a pistachio creamy sauce that had shrimp and other goodies. It was absolutely yummy and I can see why many people get it. The lobster ravioli though was my personal favorite. It was a special for the night and I highly recommend it if they offer it. It was stuffed with lobster and the red sauce was divine. Both pasta dishes were flavorful and cooked perfectly. The staff was nice, knowledgable, and attentive. The restaurant is small so hence the wait. Reservations is recommended. It is cute inside when I peaked and I love that there is a girl making pasta in the open for everyone to see. The outside has a cute patio area where we sat. Parking is hard since its located on the street in a high volume area. But worth checking out.
What an experience at Pane e Vino! Pilar made our anniversary night memorable. The ambience here is so cozy and romantic, with the small size and flickering candles. I found the entire experience inviting and the food was delicious. Everything was rich and fresh, packed with flavor. Thank you Pane e Vino and Pilar for taking care of us!
I know what you're thinking. Espanola Way, touristy, the food is probably just okay. I thought the same thing and I was so wrong. Pane e Vino is genuinely one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Miami and I will drive and deal with the parking headache every single time without complaint. Every pasta I have tried here has been incredible, no exceptions. Make a reservation though because they are almost always packed. And if you need any more convincing, on my birthday I had reservations somewhere else and by six or seven PM I canceled everything and decided I want to go here instead. We got a table at ten thirty, had an amazing meal, split a bottle of wine outside and it was the perfect night. That is the kind of place this is. Ten out of ten, worth every bit of the effort to get there!
Amazing time and amazing quality of food! We loved seeing them make fresh pasta in the front of the restaurant. The dim lighting sets the mood from the busy Miami streets. You never want to feel bloated in Miami. We ate until we were full and were still able to wander around. The highlights of our meal were the ravioli, the carpaccios and the tiramisu. 10/10 presentation on the tiramisu. The service was impeccable! If I go back to Miami, I will absolutely be back!
We came down to Miami to explore the food, and boy did we find a GEM! Its start with imtimate beautifully decorated dining room. The soft jass music added a sofisticated but animated vibe. Our waiter Pilar guided us in to more than a meal an experience! She was awesome not only explaining the dishes but also offering great suggestions and insight. Her enthusiasm for the food let us know we were in for a treat. The salad was magnificent the dressing just the right amount of sourness and tartness. De comp bread is crunchy, warm and soft. We also ordered the Arancini di Riso, Pilar encouraged us to try it and wow, the texture and flavor on this were unique, a crisp and creamyness that was outstanding! We had three main plates that we shared. Agnolotti Piemontesi, Pappardelle al ragù di Agnello, Paccheri Gamberi & Pistacchi. Each plate as amazing as the next. The truffle on the Agnolotty was exceptionally tasty. The ravioli exploded with flavor and umami in your mouth. The Veal in the Parpadelle was tender and had robust and aromatic flavor. The texture of the pasta complemented the sauce and the way the veal mingled with the plate. The Pacchery had a more delicate flavor. The shrimp was well cooked and tasty but the quality of the pasta really shined on this one. This was one meal for the books! Come here for date night or with friends you will love it! Worth every penny.
Highly highly recommend this restaurant if you like authentic Italian food. The owners are from Bologna and our waiter was from Rome. Homemade bread and delicious entrees. Our waiter was so attentive and engaging and helped us choose our entrees and wine. And the place is so cute and small and quaint. Odd bathroom decor but overall we loved it and would go back!
It's such a cute little date night!! There's outdoor seating as well but we sat indoor. It's well decorated, darker as seen in pic giving a romantic vibe. There's a lady at the front hand making the pasta!! You can tell it's fresh. Service was great - Pilar, our waitress made a fantastic recommendation for my dish and it did not disappoint! My husband loves cappelletti and we're always on the hunt to find it for him. The bread is my favorite bread, on the softer side but still has that crunch on the outside, just flavorful, doesn't need anything with it. The cannoli was great too and so was the tiramisu. Would highly recommend for a date night!
We ate here last night. There were 4 in our party and we ate family style. The food was very good, however there was nothing that blew us away. The service was great and we loved the ambience. We ordered the Agnolotti Piemontesi, Pistachio & cream sauce w/ shrimp, the Lamb Ragu, and Cannelloni. We shared the panna cotta for dessert. We felt it was too gelatinous in texture. The berry sauce on it was delicious though.
This is not just a regular review for me because before Pane e Vino took residence here, this use to be a bakery that I visited very often. It holds so much nostalgia for me. It was a bakery for many, many years, even after I left Miami Beach, when I'd come visit, I made sure to get a pastelito de carne with an orange juice and then one day; the bakery was gone and Pane e Vino was here in its place. As illogical as it may be, I held resentment towards Pane e Vino because of this. I'd grumble and scowl when I'd walk by until one day I saw a man making fresh pasta at the window. Yes, this piqued my interest. I then looked at the menu, and I saw a lot of wonderful variety, but mostly that their pasta is made fresh so it occurred to me that in this instance perhaps one legendary establishment can become another one in this place, and I decided I needed to give this restaurant a chance. I have some friends who join me often when I go to Miami Beach and so we ordered a bunch of dishes to share. I'm really glad we had our waitress Pilar steer us in the right direction. I love truffle anything and she highly recommended the truffle arancini. I'm soooo glad we got it, and that was probably one of my favorite things to eat ever. I have never had such creamy polenta in my life. the truffle and cheese in this was enough to almost bring me to tears. This is how great food is done. Even the salad and the simple dressing was amazing, really fresh and delicious. We tried three different pasta dishes, but my favorite without a doubt was the lamb ragu. This dish was everything. The lamb was so tender and flavorful. You know that lamb will sometimes have a gamey flavor? Not this dish. My second favorite pasta dish was the truffle ravioli. It's not like a truffle infused oil or salt they used, its actual shaved truffle, so delicious. The bread, the good quality olive oil, everything was fantastic. Even though my beloved bakery belongs to the past; in its place is now another magnificent establishment that I will look forward to visiting whenever I'm in Miami Beach.
This was a really cute, authentic Italian spot! The service was great and the food was very delicious! Me being the oddball that I am was craving Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo and it wasn't on the menu, but they made it for me anyway and it was yummm! Can't beat fresh pasta!! Will definitely visit again next trip!
Pane e Vino is such a cute, intimate restaurant with the best cozy ambiance. One of my favorite parts was watching the pasta being made fresh right there, which really adds to the experience. I had a reservation and was seated right away. I ordered the Agnolotti Piemontesi and wow I was completely blown away. I'm usually not the biggest ravioli person, but this was so flavorful, incredibly filling, and had me wanting more. We also got the Guazzetto di Cozze and it was amazing. The mussels came in a spicy broth and were absolutely delicious. They start you off with complimentary bread, which was a great touch, and honestly everything we tried was a hit. Service was excellent from start to finish. Such a great dining experience all around and definitely a place I'd return to.
If you're tired of the overpriced, underperforming tourist-trap-of-a-restaurant food that's rampant in South Beach, then you need to book a table ASAP at Pane e Vino. This place is the real deal. The food tastes original, authentic, and made with genuine passion for the food (not just to turn a quick buck in South Beach). It was possibly the best meal we had on our trip there. The staff was charming and the dining area tight and cozy (our street table was fun and bustling but not for the claustrophobics-at-heart). The pistacchi pasta was recommended by our waitress, and can I just say... I literally still think about it weeks later. It was so, so good. Velvety, toothsome, unexpected, filling... everything you could want in some killer Italian. The Scaloppina was good, but I'd honestly stick with their pastas over their other plates. I could not recommend Pane e Vino enough, and would wait two hours for a table there over a walk-in at ANY of the restaurants on Ocean Drive.
Was in town with some family to see Andrea Bocelli, dinner before seemed like a great idea, and why not one of our favorites: Pane e Vino? We made the earliest reservation and were promptly greeted and seated. Staff there is always so friendly and professional too. We were not rushed and simply well taken care of. If you do not know Pan e Vino, do know this place is cozy with outdoor seating. We were seated immediately behind the pasta maker in the front window. How cool. All through dinner we looked up to see what pasta was being made at the moment. They make what is needed as needed, this is fresh! We ordered a bottle of wine and some appetizers. See the pics. Octopus and some risotto dish if I recall correctly. It does not matter my memory, anything you order will be very good. Our dinners were varied and sadly I don't recall what we each ordered but I ordered the dish where they turn your freshly cooked pasta in a cheese wheel and serve. This is prepared table side. Always cool to see that. Dinner was wonderful and we each tried the other dishes at our table. All the flavors were a treat to enjoy. Dessert was Tiera Misou, I am sure I butchered that spelling. Regardless, the Italian cookies are from Italy and the dessert is prepared at the table. Fabulous. We always enjoy our meals here. We will be back.

CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH! Dined on a Wednesday night with reservations, place was full by 8 PM. From the moment you walk in the staff are nothing but welcoming and kind. The small space has such a cozy charm that makes you feel like you're dining in the heart of Italy. Our server Mirko gave us time to review the menu and made sure to answer any questions we had. He was very friendly and attentive without overly hovering, and made sure everything arrived while it was still hot from the kitchen. The food was SPECTACULAR! A meal I will certainly never forget. The "Fiocchetti Pere & Parmigiano" was sweet but had a bite from the black sesame; I've never had anything like it. And the tiramisu was delectable without being too overly sweet. Even the wine was delicious! Can't wait to visit again. read more

The quality of the food was average. For a restaurant with fresh pasta, my expectation was delicious, savory, authentic food. The lasagna had burned edges and an old taste like the lasagna was made awhile ago. The slice was cut and reheated from an older pan. The gnocchi was fresher but the pesto overpowered the pasta. The Parmesan was a disappointment that reminds me of Kraft. I expected grated 1/2" fresh Parmesan cheese. The flavors are better than a grocery brand. The service is fast and friendly. Very cute and highly authentic Italian restaurant. You can see them making their pasta right in the front window! Mirko was an awesome waiter, extremely attentive and great recommendations. I had Ravioli Pane e Vino and the flavors were absolutely amazing. A little bit on the salty side, but overall an excellent meal, great atmosphere, and amazing staff! read more
This is a really quiet traditional Italian restaurant with very romantic ambiance. Pasta is superb here, they make it in house. Service is super detailed and quick. Their tiramisu is made right in front of you which is also a very cool experience. read more

First off Pilar is amazing. I saw her name in the reviews so when I saw her on shift I knew we were in great hands. We were sitting outside under tents and it suddenly started to rain very hard. We were basically drenched, and the tables inside were full, but they made a way to get us seated inside. Although I wasn't fully satisfied with my linguine con vongole (which I was cravingggg), service made the experience. read more

This is a MUST! Absolutely percent fantabulous in every way possible! The service, the food, the ambiance, the staff etc... i have nothing negative to say about this Italian place. We were welcomed right away. We didn't have to wait to be seated. I thought we would have to wait because we discussed not have a reservation but I was wrong. The decor was warm and felt very cozy and romantic type of vibe. The staff being so welcoming we felt like we belonged, like part of the family. E eru single detail and items that hanged on the wall made it feel like we stepped far away from home and were transported to Italy. Our waitress was so friendly and easy going. She pointed us to the right direction on what to order after asking for her advice on what is good. Her name, Pilar! Superb service! She was an excellent waitress! She was attentive and like I said gave us some great advice on what was popular and what she recommended. Everything she adviced us to get we did. And we did not regret any of it. We loved everything! She knew exactly what she was talking about. And did also asked if we had any allergies or if any of us didn't like a certain food. She truly was looking out for our interests, as it should be. I personally loved how happy she was to sew how happy we were when we tried and loved the plates she recommended. She did her job perfectly. I hope next time she is our waitress. Although it might be a while since we live in Orlando but she really made out evening pleasant and satisfying to want to return. Can't wait to come back to Miami to eat here again. Oh and Pilar is an excellent waitress like i said before. You can tell she loves what she does. If i had a restaurant I would not let her go. Our absolute favorite restaurant in Miami. The food is always so amazing and the whole place feels cute and really cozy. It has such a romantic atmosphere and I am obsessed with every detail of this restaurant. I always end up discovering new things and little touches each time we visit. Even the bathroom looks like you stepped into an Italian grandmother's home which I love. The staff is super kind every single time and they always make us feel so welcome. We used to visit without a doubt every time we came to Miami and now that we are not in Florida anymore we already know we will miss this place so much. We cannot wait to come back on our next trip. I have celebrated some of my most special occasions here including birthdays and anniversaries and it always felt perfect. Truly the best. Make sure to make reservations in advance because it fills up quickly. read more
Came here for date night as my guy had come here a few times before and said I would love it. It was amazing! Service was perfect. Very attentive, very friendly. Melisa was a great waiter. She timed our meal out for us, gave us recommendations, and was so easy to chat with. She made us feel very comfortable and welcomed! We started with the gnocco fritto - delicious mortadella and cheese, but I would skip this and get something else. We then shared the linguine con vongole, which is their squid ink linguine with seafood. Delicious!!! You can taste how fresh the seafood was. And the pasta was perfect. Of course we had to end the night with the table side tiramisu. Wow wow wow. Even though I was stuffed, there was room for dessert and it was the best tiramisu I've had. This authentic Italian restaurant in Miami Beach known for its cozy atmosphere also has several tables on the sidewalk. The lady making fresh pasta in the window was very entertaining. We sat outside at a very small table for two. We barely had room for the dishes. I had the Paccheri with shrimp and pistachio sauce $33.99. It was very fresh and delicious but not enough for leftovers and a little too al dente for me. The server was very friendly and efficient. read more

This place was absolutely fantastic. My friends and I wanted a nice dinner where it wasn't too touristy. There are a lot of touristy restaurants around there that seem like tourist traps. This place is not one of them. It's quite small but the service was wonderful and felt so homely. It's a small place and they have some outdoor seating too. My friends and I got the spaghetti made in a Parmesan wheel, ravioli, squid ink spaghetti, mussels and tiramisu. They also give some great free bread and include some olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt pepper and red crushed pepper on the side. For anyone looking for a unique Italian place in Miami, this one is great! read more

Pane e Vino is a total gem. The food was amazing and the ambiance was cozy and intimate. Service was excellent from start to finish. One of the coolest parts was watching the homemade pasta being made right in front of us. Definitely make reservations as the place was packed! A great overall dining experience. read more

Make a reservation!! Very small and cute Italian restaurant. In the window is also someone making homemade pasta. I thought it was very cool to see how its made. The host was very friendly and polite. We were seated outside due to no tables being available inside. Our server was great and very attentive. He recommended some great choices and was knowledgeable about the menu. We started off with the Mediterranean salad, la polentina, and gnocchi. The la polentina was my favorite. That cheese paired so well with my wine. I wish I knew rhe name of the cheese bc I wanted to buy some of it. All the appetizers were amazing and freshing. Entrees we ordered the pappardelle al ragu di angello and agnolotti piemontesi. Both pasta were delicious and unique in there own way. Loved that both are made from scratch. Ambiance- cute, intimate, homey, traditional feel! Food- hands down the best pasta I've had in a while. Pasta made aldente, creamy pistachio sauce, and plump shrimp. Delicate blend of flavors that go well together. Carpaccio di manzo was good. Fresh beef with light salad on top. Wine- loved this one, try it out. Smooth and easy to drink. Service, food, everything was amazing. i sat outside and they had a tent for us to keep us out of the rain. my beef carpaccio was so delicious and the pasta tasted great. they have a woman in the storefront making the noodles by hand. it's a great place to eat and a must try. it was so delicious i tried to come back a second time! read more

They do open at 5pm so calling closer to that time you should be able to reach them. Hope that helps.
Is it possible to book for a party of 12?
The dining area both inside and outside are small. But if you go to their Facebook page and message them, they are quick to respond. They also have another location just around the corner named Pasta & Vino and that has a larger dining area. Enjoy.

They do, but it's best to use Yelp to reserve a table. They have a new location around the corner, Pasta & Vino. Availability might be easier there for walk ups. Enjoy!
