It came with a side salad and 3 garlic rolls. The salad was yummy and I loved the piccata. I was very full after eating less than half of the plate. My husband got one slice of meat lover's pizza. It was a huge slice! He could barely finish it. I took home 2 garlic rolls and 3/4 of my order. It was very good. The prices are very reasonable. My dish was $22 and my husband's was $10. We ate there for the first time last week. Got to talking with other patrons to get an idea of what was good. They said they have been eating there for many years and that the food was always delicious. I totally enjoyed the chicken scarpariello ! My husband had a meatball parmigiana hero. Oh dear. I feel bad writing this review but maybe they'll use this feedback to improve. We ordered a veggie pizza but we couldn't eat it. It had way too many veggies on it and which made it very heavy and wet. It made the dough on the pizza was soggy. We also had a chicken pasta dish and it was not good either. The white wine sauce it came in looked like soup and the chicken was breaded and it had a very unappealing look to it. The only good thing was their chicken soup. Again, I am so sorry. Salvador was extremely welcoming and sweet, came in just for a slice but the ambiance was so great that I decided to dine in and sit down. I was served two pizza slices (one didn't make the picture lol) I asked for it to be cooked well done to which they 100% delivered! The pizza was both crispy and not greasy at all. The garlic rolls are delicious as well. And I ended up ordering a tiramisu thanks to my very lovely and kind waitress, Doris. The tiramisu was my favorite!!! Great garlic rolls but I stopped going there for dine-in or take-out because of their unhealthy food preparation habits: the cashier tends to always handle the garlic rolls to warm up in the oven with his bare unwashed hands after handling cash at the register. Twice I observed this unhealthy practice, and although, they re-filled my order upon request using food serving tongs, I decided not to reward their poor and unethical food preparations with my patronage. read more

So important to support local businesses but when you order through Uber the fees are crazy these days. Decided to order from Mamma Mia's website for delivery. It was a flat $5 delivery fee. Much better deal. Left money for a tip to the driver. Ordered the ziti with meat sauce and chicken tenders. It came with 3 garlic rolls and a side salad. Estimate said 60 minutes but came in 50. The ziti was so delicious and enough for an adult and two kids to have lunch. We even had a little left over for the kids to have with dinner. The chicken tenders are giant and flavorful. I have waited and waited to write this review and believe it is finally time. By now I have tasted many of Mamma Mia's dishes. Nothing but the garlic bread has been really of my liking. I have had lunch from here on several occasions and I think there will be no more. I have tried: Shrimp marinara - 2/5 good portion but not much flavor. I did not finish the actual pasta. Pasta e fagioli soup - 1/5 not flavorful at all. The broth tasted like nothing, more like canned canellini beans and plain short pasta. Two spoonfuls and that was it. I saved it for next day just in case and it was worse. It had agglutinated. Mixed salad - 2/5 big chunks of veggies tossed together with a packaged dressing. Two for apparent freshness. Meatballs - 3/5 these had more flavor but nothing I would repeat or recommend either. Chicken marsala - 3/5 it was the dish I enjoyed the most however the chicken was odd, it had a chewy texture. I don't want to guess what gave the chicken this texture but probably many people can imagine. Veggie pizza - 1/5 although it had a lot of cheese, again not much flavor. As well, the layer of veggies did not let the dough cook well. I could not eat the whole slice. Not recommended. See the pictures. Tomato and Basil pizza - 1/5 this is something I would normally love and it smelled great but the tomatoes were cut so thick they had turned into a mushy soup. It was unpleasant to eat. It was just a very watery pizza. Not what I look forward to. Meat lover pizza - 3/5 this pizza was their best. It did have tons of flavor but it is expected, it is full of deli meat. Nothing great though Hawaiian pizza - 1/5 little ham, lots of 'crushed' pineapple. Too much pineapple to my taste. It did not look appealing that crushed pineapple. Cannot tell what happened there. Taking into account the chances I have given them I believe I might be taking them out of my list. read more

Veal parm is my go-to item to order and it is always a big portion. Second favorite item to order from there is the Pasta carbonara with Bacon. Delicious! Their lobster bisque is pretty amazing as well. Garlic rolls are also amazing. Mamma Mia's dining in service is very efficient and the servers are friendly. What Can I say, food isn't bad but service? I ordered from Door Dash, they screwed up and delivered the wrong order and I got a refund. So I call the restaurant they say the guy just left with the correct order. Over half hour later, still no food ( I live 2 blocks from the restaurant.) So I call again, they say the guy kept my food, they can't reach him. I say, never mind, I'll drive to them since I'm done with what I was doing and pick my order up. So I drive there, place my order, and go to Publix while they prepare it, another half hour. I go back and when my food is ready, I pay for the order. I get home, and surprise, surprise, its missing my Tiramisu. Really? Fuck up the same order 3 times in the same night? Then the cashier tells me I have the same smile as her father. Felt like calling her and asking her if she fucks her fathers orders up too. Bottom line, I wish them well, sure they have a lot of loyal customers, I'm not going to be one of them ever again. The taste is okay, not crispy and kinda bland but in the midst of all that- I love it!! Lol. I love the simple approach to pizza. Every bite is delish without being overpowering. I always order delivery and just reheat it when it arrives. The extra 5 minutes in the oven does wonders to this pizza. One thing I do have to add is that they're a bit over priced. I order a medium 2 topping pizza and half a dozen garlic rolls for delivery and it comes out to $35. read more

If I could give this a 0-star review, I would. The Mamma Mia Pizzeria in Homestead was delicious so we tried this location. It was horrible. There was no sauce, no flavor, under-baked dough, excessive cheese, and thickly sliced whole tomatoes that drained water into the pizza. We purchased over $80 on this location and my mother in law reached out to the owner to see what options we could have to reconcile the disaster we tasted spending $80+ since that money is not easy to come by in these times. He was extremely rude to my mother in law; he yelled at her, walked away from her, and caused a scene when she was asking what options she had for reimbursement. He only agreed to make a $26 pasta, which was okay, and refused to make anything past that. My family is extremely disappointed with this experience and I am sure the Homestead location is losing potential customers from their location if those customers had their first experience at this location. read more
