Emilio must be able to see through walls since he knew exactly where the pipes were and where the bends were. The father-son duo was also extremely efficient, clean, and respectful of the home. Thank you Junior! I really want to give 10 stars because they were an absolute lifesaver this week. On Tuesday my shower backed up to the top of the pan, my bathroom sink barely drained, and then my toilet stopped flushing. I only have one bathroom. Fortunately I use a washlet so I was able to wait until Wednesday. Alligator Plumbing couldn't come out for two weeks and referred me to Amigo, for which I am eternally grateful. Junior's day was booked but he and his nephew came out around 5:30. He told me very clearly what the options were to check things out and what the cost would be . Unfortunately, when they dug into the clean out it was one way and they had to take out the toilet. Junior tried to snake the toilet but the pipe was angled in a funny way and they couldn't get through. So they had to dig and find where the pipe went into the house. By then it was dark and Junior said he was going to make sure I had a working toilet before he left and he could come back Friday or Saturday to finish the job. They worked until 10 PM. He explained everything he was doing and showed me what he was doing and spoke to me like an intelligent person which, as an older woman, doesn't always happen. I paid him for the night. They returned Friday, put in a two way clean out and you can't even tell they were digging outside and they were digging really deep. In any case everything is working but I got stuck on Zelle payments because of my restrictions for how much I could send during the week. I still owe him money and he is waiting until next Wednesday night when I can send the rest. As someone else said, whoever does that anymore? I have been looking for a good plumber for years and I am looking no more. I highly recommend Amigo. Oh and list I forget, this was all due to an N95 mask getting flushed down the toilet. read more

These guys do not cut corners, are honest, have integrity, and are fair. Today, they put in a Trenchless drain system replacing a 65 year old ceramic drain that was ladened with roots. They arrived when they said they would (7:30a), replaced more area than expected because of poor connections of the old pipes, permitted the work, installed the new system using a Trenchless method, kept us without a system for only four hours (down at 10a up at 2p), and didn't ask for more funds...incredible professionalism. Amigo did work for me in the past and every time I've been happy. Why I forgot about them until this project is a mystery. I saw them coming out of Pete's Hardware while I was heading in and a lightbulb went off. After a quick discussion in the parking lot I invited them to look at my project. When I heard the word Trenchless I was sold. I'm writing this because good experiences should be communicated. I wanted all of my friends, family, acquaintances, and neighbors to know this team deserves your consideration for all your plumbing needs. Heres the story, I went to Home Depot to rent one of the industrial drain snake thinking I can handle it, but boy am I wrong. Half way through snaking I hit a snag and I couldn't pull the rental snake out. Craps, I kept messing around with it and made it worst. Finally, after hours of messing with it I gave up, and I called Amigo. I had heard about them through NextDoor from a neighbor. They participate in the lateral sewer replacement grant in my city. The owner picked up and was able to schedule me in after a few hours. Throughout they kept me updated when they would come and they came promptly at the time promised. Every few years, tree roots invaded our drain causing raw sewage to overflow into our yard and neighbor's (horrible!). My long time plumber suggested I end the problem by replacing the sewer lateral, which must be done in our area anyway before sale of property. He highly recommended Amigo as knowledgeable, dependable and reasonable. Ely gave me a very fair quote, told me what to expect and under what conditions costs might increase. He was personable, professional and answered all my questions. He took care of all preliminaries - permitting, scheduling inspection, working with PG&E. He even pulled thorny weeds where new cleanout needed to go! Inconvenience of no water in house was minimized. "Elly" stopped by within a few business days and he gave us a reasonable quote. Much better than another local plumber. Within 2 days he and his crew removed the old, rusty unit and replaced it with a quality Bradford-White eco unit, as well as a ball valve, new supply lines, new straps and 2x4's on the wall to reinforce it. Junior showed up on short notice to Roto-Root a clogged main line. It didn't work. His father showed up the next day with the water jet, and no go. What the heck? His father crawled under the house and noticed the plumber for our prior addition had installed two 90 degree turns, and tied into the old cast iron plumbing line under the original part of the house, which he said was the culprit. His entire crew just left the house after working on a Saturday on Memorial Day Weekend. He fixed everything up, got rid of the 90 degree turns, and installed a new line all the way to the front clean-out. It wasn't cheap, but they did a ton of work and I'm extremely satisfied!
