Holiday week and my go to plumber is closed till after Christmas so I try the other plumber that has a great reputation around here . They sent a technician the next day to repair my water heater that is blinking lights telling me what is wrong but I don't know how to fix. The technician correctly reads the lights which tell him what to fix. Pulls out a screen in the water heater that wasn't easy to remove and cleans it to solve my issue. They also gave me a senior one hour service fee which saved me a few bucks. Highly recommend Savior Plumbing and now a fan. read more

Savior Plumbing is AMAZING! Of course I have a kitchen faucet issue on a Sunday, but they were able to get someone out for me first thing Monday morning. James was my plumber and did a GREAT job replacing the kitchen faucet and making sure there were no more leaks, etc. He was extremely knowledgeable and that is always reassuring. TL;DR: Savior Plumbing is wonderful and resolved my leaking toilet issue quickly! I would highly recommend. Long story: My house originally was built with cheap, plastic angle stops and I had a experienced a leak when I wanted to upgrade my toilet with one of those awesome Japanese bidets. My dad had a fantastic experience with Savior Plumbing for the same issue three years ago so I called them. They were able to help me out within 4 days due to their busy schedule. The wait was longer than I had hoped but it was totally worth it. On the day of, Kleilyn called a few hours earlier than our scheduled reservation and said he'd be able to arrive within 20 min. Not only was he able to replace all three plastic angle stops in my house, he explained to me why I had the leak (there was a faulty washer in the angle stop's piping). He was able to accomplish all this within one hour so the plumbing fee was totally reasonable. I had originally expected to pay anywhere between $400-600 but it was actually less than $300 (including the costs of the replacement parts). I was stoked and Kleilyn was a true professional who added humor by making fun of himself for showing me around my own house. Will definitely call them up for future plumbing needs! read more

Our water in Livermore had become intolerably hard...to the point my hair was breaking off. A Water Softener was required...STAT. My SIL had installed a Salt Unit a few months before in their home, so we used his research...and put the same unit in, and used the same Plumber to install it. Unfortunately our unit was damaged in shipping...so part way through the install a replacement was procured...age old thinking on our feet Auston was great. Flexible, friendly, and he did nice work...I have some experience with plumbing design, and I was very pleased. Beware of unethical practices! We were charged $498 for absolutely no repairs. We had a plumber (Eric) come to our home to inspect a gas leak. He arrived at 12:40 PM and left by 3 PM. During that time, he worked to locate the leak--which we had already identified as coming from our gas range and a specific area. Once he confirmed the location, he informed us he didn't have the necessary hose to make the repair and left without completing any work beyond diagnosing the issue. Before leaving, he took it upon himself to inspect areas outside the scope of work we requested and recommended an additional $13,000 in work. A second opinion from another plumbing company confirmed that this recommendation was completely unnecessary. We ended up hiring a different company to handle the repair. It feels incredibly unethical to charge $498 for a visit that resulted in zero repairs or solutions. I strongly caution anyone considering this company! read more

Eric was great. Very professional and friendly. I don't know anything about hot water heaters. They installed the same brand I had and it lasted 14 years. They were out for service the next morning. Other places I called couldn't come out for 5 days. Long time without hot water. I don't know much about the price but it doubled in 14 years. Seems about right in these economic times. The service requested was to install two new toilets. Adam arrived on time and begin the work. He was efficient and knowledgeable about his work. I've known owner Tom Cortez and his family for over 20 years through St. Raymond's in Dublin, but when our Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) went out last week. that was not the first reason I called Savior Plumbing. The reason I called is great service. Tom sent a crew member out the next day and not only replaced the PRV valve, but also replaced some leaking hose bibs in the laundry room. FYI they charge for quotes. Why they think they should be paid for work not done is a mystery to me. Called to get a quote for some non-emergent work in a bathroom. I was able to provide pictures & specifics on what I needed done. I was told I'd get a call back later in the day with an estimate....no prob. Later in the day the office manager called to tell me the work would either be 1/2 day or a full day they really couldn't tell due to "unforeseen circumstances that could arise". I was asking for new shut off valves for two toilets & water lines to be moved over 2-4 inches for the sink (wall was already open). I should add they charge approx $150 for the first hour and $48 for each additional 15 mins. So let's say it cost 1/2 a day we're talking a minimum of $700+ but could be more. No one could truly tell me. When I asked if someone could come out and give me an actual quote I was told I would be charged for that They charge their 1 hour rate for a quote. I do not pay for work not done. So that was a hard no. Anyway there's plenty of plumbers in Livermore. Even more if you expand to the Tri-Valley. These guys are a hard pass. read more

They replaced my 25+ year old Garbage Disposal in about an hour. I called the office on a Saturday, they were closed, but the answering service left a message and Savior Plumbing called first thing Monday morning and scheduled a visit that morning. That's service! It can't happen every time but is nice when it does. The tech made sure the new one ran smoothly and no leaks. He noticed that the hose connecting to the disposal from the dishwasher was too long, and shortened it. I have been very happy with Savior Plumbing with all the work they have done for me over the years and HIGHLY recommend their services. I randomly called Savior Plumbing because I needed to redo the kitchen plumbing, install a new garbage disposal and replace a rusty faucet that was stuck in place. Our kitchen faucet had been leaking for awhile. I ordered the replacement faucet, but figured out in a hurry that the install wouldn't be the straight forward project I was anticipating. The mounting nut had rusted and was frozen in place. I contacted Savior Plumbing to help me out. They had an available plumber and dispatched him within the hour. Their plumber, Jordan, arrived and got to work. He had to section the nut with a metal cutter to remove it, which was something I wouldn't have been able to tackle. Once the old faucet was removed, the install of the new faucet proceeded uneventfully. Jordan is knowledgeable and performed the repair professionally and courteously. Wow, we just had another great experience with this plumbing company! Years ago, we had them repair a broken clay pipe sewer line. They did a fine job and they were one of the lower priced estimates we received. Clay sewer lines are kinda rare these days so they had to do some searching to find the right materials. Since then we used them for various smaller jobs and another big one - re-piping the whole house. Our house was built in 1966 and iron pipe was used throughout the house. Iron pipe rusts eventually rusts inside and the iron oxide builds up to and ends up seriously restricting water flow. Again, they did a superb job - finishing the total job in less than 2 days at reasonable cost. This time, it was a fairly simple job - we noticed the garbage disposal unit starting to leak. I checked it and was able to determine that it was not a pipe or waste line connection leaking and it wasn't the sink collar mounting that had gone bad. Therefore, the only thing it could be is the main seal of the disposal had sprung a leak and the entire unit needed replacement. I called the office and scheduled an appointment. David came out to the house on time of the appointment date. I had texted photos of the sink and disposal under the counter so he was well prepared for the job. He was courteous, professional, thorough and very efficient. It took him less than 1/2 to complete the job. The Badger 5, 1/2 hp unite was $130 and the total job came to $265! Tom Cortez suggested that I make my laundry room inside my home more spacious, by rerouting 220 electrical outlet and lint outlet all on one side. My existing water heat was so hard to get to as my dryer was on the left side and washer was on the right side. Lint trap behind dryer was blocked as my room was so small and dryer was pushed back to the timber block wall. He suggested that a stackable washer and dryer to have both on one side of laundry room. His crew installed everything in A timely matter. If I had a questions or concerns, Tom, got right back with me on the phone. I highly recommend Savior Plumbing. We had three new TOTO toilets installed yesterday. Savior provided the three toilets, brought them to the house, did an excellent installation, cleaned everything up perfectly and hauled away the old toilets. You could not ask for better service. Their price on the toilets was nearly $100 less than Home Depot or Lowes. No charge for disposing the old toilets. Dave was the installer and did an excellent job.
