The hall where the service took place was beautiful, besides sympathies, the most common thing I heard was about how great the place looked. They had a couple comfort animals running around and a staff member was always unobtrusively available. They made a wonderful slideshow out of the pictures we gave them. Digitized everything. The most touching part was a display they made, we had discussed interests, hobbies and such. They made a whole display out of the things we talked about with some pictures added on.

I ordered a beautiful spray of flowers to be delivered, and when the flowers arrived, the funeral home sent the flowers back because they are not what they wanted. Even though it was the family's wishes for an full open casket, hours before the showing, they closed half of the casket and told us they would never leave it open (even though that is what we were told and planned). When confronting the problem, the owners were very disrespectful. Therefore I beg you to please avoid this place. Go someplace else and say your goodbyes and prayers at a funeral home that will take care of your wishes. This place ruined saying goodbye to a very special family member.

The sister is the one paying." I immediately hung up. I was completely astonished that someone could possibly speak that way about family members who've just lost their loved one. There is also a resident albino squirrel that we've been in search of but haven't seen ourselves. Father Baker is buried here so you can see his grave. There is also a beautiful little chapel on the property. You can access this from Ridge Rd on bike/foot/scooter or by South Park via car.

Since we live out of state the staff includes us in the mailings for the floral arrangements at various times of the year. They make sure every little detail is taken care of in our absence. That includes placing the arrangements at all the graves and then taking pictures of them and sending them to us! Not many cemeteries would do that. They have always been professional,trustworthy, and caring. We can't praise the Elm Lawn staff and maintenance crew enough. Just pick up body and cremation, No service, No pictures just a simple collection and service. We don't want our only son to wonder what to do, just like I faced when my father passed. We would appreciate getting this done in a timely manner. I can't believe nobody has called me back, I guess they would rather take advantage of the grief than prearranged death that contains no pressure on love ones. Maybe I should have just left a number and no message. Thank God I wasn't waiting to have them pick up someone dead.
