The meat is very good , high quality, thin and very juicy and tender It's good if you pick up and grill same day beauxse their marinade is strong It very good if you chop it up after I have come here about 3 time now for meat only and I think I've found my new favorite meat shop Their salsas are kinda pricy but if your in a pinch it's worth it VIVA!

They burnt my foot with boiling hot water leaking through the bottom of the meat display tonight. I spoke out about and then nobody suddenly spoke English. Lawsuit incoming.

a chicken sandwich and rice

Best meat market ever. Eating grass-fed proteins is the lifestyle I'm trying to live. I love that…read morethere are so many options to choose from. Sausages, patties, chicken parts, and various other meats. The butchers are great. Very helpful and friendly. They always greet upon entering the store. The store is small and quaint to get what you need in a few twists and turns. Some other items sold there include syrup, milk, eggs, wine, baking mixes, cheeses, pickled veggies and so much more. All locally sourced. This is a carnivore's heaven.

I went in because the owner of Arcadia Meat Market bought the butcher shop I normally go to, and…read moreclosed it for remodeling. When I came in they were having a sale on their frozen products which was great because their prices were insane. I then began to talk to the person behind the counter about bulk ordering (whole, 1/2, and 1/4 cows) and the custom cuts process, because they are a "whole animal butchery". I was handed a card for a website that delivers arizona grass fed beef. I've never been to a butcher that doesn't allow custom cuts or bulk orders. You might as well go to sprouts for the same service and save the money. I bought some meat since I made the drive and the meat is definitely high quality, but my butcher was selling grass fed grass finished beef for $3 less /lb. Not to mention I was able to get bulk and custom cuts for even cheaper. I'm so disappointed that my butcher is getting replaced by them.

The Traveling Butcher - Chicken Tenders meets mac

Formerly known as The Bearded Butcher, The Traveling Butcher is serving bricks-and-mortar…read morerestaurant-quality food. As soon as you approach the truck, the aromas make your mouth water. What I love is the simplicity of the menu. Just a few entrees and sides. No BS. Loose Meat Hamburger: As the menu states, "think sloppy joe without the slop." I think it's an apt description. Very generous portion. Quality meat. Nothing too innovative but unique for the burger offerings in Phoenix. They also have a Smashburger that I would be tempted to order next time. Iowa Pork Tenderloin Sandwich: The menu says this is big enough for two people and they ain't kidding! It's huge. Perfectly crisp pork tenderloin that spills out on all sides from the bun. Yum! Chicken Tenders: DEE-lee-shush! Expertly fried chicken tenders. It said it would be served with a side of sauce but it wasn't. Honestly, I'm not sure that these tenders needed any. I liked that they put checkered paper in the take-out boxes. It was a small touch that conveyed the home-cooked appeal of the food. Again, this could be food served from a "real" restaurant. For the sides, we ordered mac and cheese and potato salad. Both were generous portions (unfortunately, we were shorted one order of mac n' cheese but they were busy). I think the mac n' cheese had potential. The texture was great but the flavor was slightly underwhelming. I think a sharper splash of cheese or seasoning could help. But overall, good. For the midwest nature of the truck, I was surprised that they didn't have any dessert offerings. They ordinarily sell beef jerky but their website said that they were sold out. Employees were great and relatively calm given the long queue of customers that formed almost as soon as they started serving. The food truck scene in Phoenix continues to evolve and be one of the more exciting aspects of the food and beverage industry. The Traveling Butcher pops up around the Valley (find their schedule on Street Food Finder). Would I dine from here again? Without question, and, I look forward to seeing how their menu evolves.
