We went back for lunch a week ago and we're even happier! The guacamole and queso remain amazing (my 9 month old would agree). I got the chicken tacos and they were extremely flavorful and it was a huge portion. My husband got the burrito and he enjoyed it but he did wish the pico was inside of it instead of on the side. Definitely a spot we look forward to going to again

Beautifully decorated place in a great location! Stopped by for some drinks and apps and had a lovely time. We were welcomed by the host and our waiter. He was awesome and attentive bringing us everything very fast. We had margaritas and a gin& tonic. I had a strawberry margarita which was delicious, not too strong but we felt it walking around the mall! We all shared the chips and salsa and the platter. The salsa is INCREDIBLE. We had to get seconds, it was so tasty. The platter was also great portions to share for 3 people. Everything on the platter was delicious and we enjoyed! The prices were good for the area, I will totally come back here for dinner.

This is by far THE best Mexican food in Massachusetts! From the Chips and Salsa (don't forget to order the table-side Guacamole) to the tacos to the tres leches to the mezcal. This was our first trip to Amigo's, and we're glad Siri chose this place. The chips and salsa were great! The salsa was thicker, moving closer towards a jam than a salsa. The chips were not salty, unlike places like Chili's or On The Order, and of a thicker cut, unlike the previously mentioned places. The table side guac, was worth it, my only qualm was that is needed something more. More kick (live bcaon or qoita cheese). A solid start. And if you're into spice, like I am, as for the habanro sauce, just mix it into your "jam" (lol). Since it was Taco Tuesday l, we both opted for these Moy delicioso options (see pictures). The chicken tacos came with guac on tip, and ya can't have them without extra cheese! I had the shrimp and bacon tacos, with jalapeno creme, which were to die for. I didn't need the spicy salsa, but I added it anyway for that special kick. For the desert, she ordered the Tres Leches cake, which came inan two-tier variety and no sauces. According to the amazing bartender Davine (too bad she's leaving) the cake usually comes with a drizzle of sauce; ask without, and you won't be disappointed. For my desert I had the Spicy Jalapeno Mezcal, and I have to say this is my new favorite mixed drink. The smokiness alone had me craving another. We went early, so it was quiet, but as the night drew on, it got busier. So, I'd suggest going in for an early dinner, so to get good service and good food. I particularly loved their attention to making their dices, slices and mashes (guac) rather fine. It allowed for a greater "one bite" bc you were able to enjoy a bit of each aspect of what was on the plate. The pinto beans and rice were on point too. We'll definitely be back!

Best margaritas , plus they offer amazing virgin options too! This place has such a fun and welcoming atmosphere. The vibrant artwork on the walls adds to the charm. The food is absolutely fantastic! They start you off with complimentary chips and salsa, which is always a nice touch. We tried the chicken tacos with guacamole !so flavorful! And the new Birria Burrito with the Birria sauce? Simply delicious. Everything we had was spot on, and our server Alex was great, making the experience even better. Highly recommend!

We stopped by for tacos and we were pleasantly surprised! The location is attached to a mall which made me a bit hesitant. The spot has lots a televisions and a nice bar if you're there to meet up with friends and chill. The tortillas for the tacos are made on location and you can taste the freshness!! The guacamole cart was so much fun and the guacamole was made fresh to order! HOLY GUACAMOLE....so delicious! We loved this little spot and will definitely return when in the area.

First visit to Amigos and it is average. We ordered chimichangas one with chorizo and one with barbacoa. Both had weird flavors and the chorizo tasted like dried ground up leather. I tried a couple of bites and left the rest as it really was inedible. The Queso dip was pretty tasty, the chips and salsa were good. Good enchiladas and quesadilla with ground beef. Service was pretty good. There is bound to be better Mexican food around.

I heard great reviews about this place and decided to give it try. I love chicken fajitas and I'm really picky with it, but it was delish at Amigos :) The drinks were bomb as well. My friend ordered the steak quesadilla and ate it all, she loved it. Customer service is great so was the ambiance, definitely will be back with the hubby.

We LOVED our first experience at Amigos. From start to finish everything was perfect. We started with the most DELICIOUS watermelon margaritas. They were so fresh tasting, this was no cheap bar mix. Immediately we were given chips and fresh salsa while seated at the bar; another ridiculously fresh experience. We enjoyed the margaritas so much that we ordered a pitcher to split! We followed by ordering our own meals; I got chicken enchiladas and my better half got the sopa del mar. Once again; FRESH! You could tell this is a scratch kitchen. The portions were large but not overwhelming, the service was attentive and kind. We will be back!!

Tried Sala Restobar in Beverly and overall it was a pretty underwhelming experience…read more We started with drinks -- I ordered a piña colada expecting it to be blended, but it came unblended. Nothing on the menu or from the server mentioned that, which was disappointing right away. When I told the server I didn't like it and wanted something else, he literally tilted his head and said, "ummm what do I tell the bartender?" That honestly rubbed me the wrong way -- just felt unprofessional and awkward. Jenny got a tequila cosmo, which was fine, nothing special. Food-wise, everything was just average. The bao buns were overcooked and the bun fell apart, though the flavor was decent. The pineapple fried rice was probably the best thing we had, but even that was just okay. We also had dumplings -- Jenny liked them, but I thought they were just alright. Dessert was the biggest miss. The blueberry cobbler was not good at all -- maybe a 3/10 at best. One thing that really didn't sit right was when we asked to split the tasting menu and were told no. That doesn't make much sense -- if people want to share, especially for a tasting menu, it should be allowed. Overall, nothing stood out in a good way, and between the service and the food, solid ambiance , it just wasn't a great experience.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Or should I say, "Si! Si! Si!"…read more My family and I discovered this place one year ago, and have eagerly been returning to it ever since. When it comes to Grilled Fish Tacos, I am beyond anal with my expecations of what I expect to receive, for most places will serve the dish over cooked and beyond dried out. That is not at all the case at Casa Tequila! After at least 5 to 6 visits in the past year, and ordering the same dish each time, and I can truly confirm that this place is consistant, with their quality ingredients and overall passion for their menu. The service has always been a pleasurable experience and feels very much like everyone who works there is family. We love eating here, especially on their patio in the Summer months and look forward to our next visit as soon as we pay our bill for the meal we just so very much enjoyed.

I got the chicken tacos and they were very basic; looked like the shells were Old El Paso with iceberg lettuce and a cheddar and Jack cheese mix. The chicken itself was very salty, and there wasn't much flavor otherwise. Wasn't a bad lunch, but not notable. Cute atmosphere in the building, it's possible we hit them on an off day, but I don't think I'd go again with so many other great food options in town.

I'm honestly surprised by all the good reviews, do y'all not have tastebuds?…read more I love tacos. Love is an understatement. This was so off putting I refused to finish a taco out of my 3 taco meal. Played it safe, got the ground beef. The taco was greasy despite having the double tortilla layer which it had soaked through. The taco meat was very bland and there was a funky sweet taste to it, maybe because of the chipotle aioli? No cheese. No hot sauce. Between the texture and the taste, there was no way I was able to get past a couple bites. I thought the chips and salsa would be my saving grace, however there was zero salt on the chips and the salsa was just their pico de gallo. The pico was super watery and tasted like bland tomato water. No salt or flavor in there either. In addition, you can get a pretty good idea about a place's cleanliness based off what you can see going on in the kitchen. The cook was wearing gloves while scrolling on his/a phone and didn't change those gloves to make our food. Additionally, he went to the restroom with the gloves on and while he wasn't wearing by them when he came out, but it wasn't long enough thoroughly wash your hands. The staff were sitting on the stainless steel counters where meal prep is done. Just not a place I feel comfortable eating.

The one overarching adjective I have for this place is "solid." The tacos here aren't cheap, but…read morethey don't skimp in ingredients and for all of the tacos we ordered, we received solid, convincing pieces of meat. From the lobster to the shrimp to the fish, everything was so fresh and high quality that we were extremely impressed. Don't expect "authentic" Mexican tacos. These definitely have their own take on them - Baja California at times, New England lobster roll at times. But all extremely tasty, to the point I'd consider making a drive up here from Boston because the food is just that good. The real standout in our lineup today was the grilled corn. Don't miss it - we had a great time and can't wait to come back and sit in the bales of hay outside!
