Dr. Ahmadi is the best periodontist I have ever been to. He is very thorough, knowledgeable and caring. I have no apprehension before an appointment with him. I actually close my eyes and drift off a little as he works. He is an excellent periodontist and you owe it to your gums and teeth to see him if you have any periodontal issues. read more

Dr. Ahmadi is amazing! the service is impeccable here at CitiDental with him and his assistants. AND they have a tv in the room so after they gave me my complimentary bleaching, I just sat there and watched The Office! They gave a thorough analysis of my teeth and what he thought would be the optimal next steps to take with the problems with my teeth. No pressure to get anything done, just the facts. After having many awful experiences (overcharging my insurance, belittling immediate care and giving below satisfactory care) with many dentist around my area I decided to use yelp as a guide. That is how I found Dr. Loflin (who not only has great reviews but also participates with my family's insurance) who then recommended being treated with Dr. Ahmadi. What a great suggestion!!! I cannot stress how GREAT Dr. Ahmadi is!!! His genuine interest for his patient is unbelievable, yet true. He explains everything that he will perform so that your anxiety, if any, is relieved. I have had terrible experiences with in-network dentists for years. I had a botched periodontal surgical procedure that put a gum graft in the wrong place, as well as a botched root canal that resulted in the entire tooth having to be pulled. When I needed to get a dental implant to replace the tooth that had to be pulled, I looked on Yelp and found Dr. Loflin, who recommended Dr. Ahmadi. I happened to take the elevator up to Dr. Ahmadi's office with his dental assistant, Julia, who was very friendly and nice, and the receptionist was lovely as well. The office design is beautiful--very minimalist and clean and soothing--and Dr. Ahmadi was right on schedule. He was kind and informative and took his time to answer all of my questions. He even offered me the special Yelp discount that I was unaware I was eligible for. I got to watch Netflix throughout the procedure of getting the dental implant, and Dr. Ahmadi and Julia did everything they could to make me feel at ease. When the procedure was over, Dr. Ahmadi told me I might experience some pain and bleeding and gave me his cell phone number in case I had any trouble. But he must have done a good job, because I woke up the very next day with almost no pain and zero bleeding (which has not been my experience with oral surgery in the past). This is hands-down the best dental experience I have ever had. After years of nightmare experiences, I couldn't recommend Dr. Ahmadi highly enough. And if you sign up for Citidental's affordable "insurance" plan, which I did (although Dr. Ahmadi didn't push for it AT ALL--he was like, "Well, let me clarify what the plan really is before you commit . . . "), all the procedures are a better bargain than you'll get from any other reputable dentist or oral surgeon. I am so happy and relieved to have found Dr. Ahmadi, and I look forward to working with him and Dr. Loflin (whom I haven't seen yet) in the future. read more

After a long 2 1/2 years of avoiding a Dentist, I found (thanks to the help of my fellow YELPER'S) the office of CitiDentalGroup. Let me start by saying to the staff and doctor who helped me with my teeth THANKS SO MUCH! Forgot the names but not how much I was so well taken care of, I am a nervous freak when it comes to even thinking about dental visits and exams, seriously I am. The receptionist was really nice and remembered that I asked to be given a shot when I get my cleaning, which for me was the first time ever I've been numbed to have a cleaning on my teeth, the x-ray girl was super nice and answered all my questions, and played some cool toons for me on Pandora, even asked me if I wanted to watch Netflix, super cool! The Dr. came over and talked me thru everything before we got started and was really genuine and made me feel comfortable, and the technician who did the complete cleaning and scaling of my mouth was awesome! She made sure I was completely numb, attentive to anything I needed and joked around with me to make sure I was ok. Plus they let my wife sit in and hold my hand thru the whole thing!!! I just wanted to say thanks again, I'll get better with the names I promise and will definitely be coming back and making sure that I spread the word about CitiDentalGroup. read more

Having not been to the dentist in several years, it's needless to say that I'm not a huge fan of the experience. But as I awoke to a slight gum problem a couple of weeks back it was time to bite the bullet, so to speak, and go in, insurance or no insurance. So going by location, price, availability, and a few favorable reviews found here, I ended up with an appointment with Amir Ahmadi at Citi Dental. Initially I walked in and found the office to be bright and tranquil. A good start. The receptionist was nice, helpful, and relaxed yet efficient. Perfect so far. Mr. Ahmadi's partner in the business came out, introduced himself, said I would be seeing Amir shortly, and walked off. Cool. Just a minute or two later I was walked back into one of the rooms, briefly met Mr. Ahmadi, and was introduced to the dental assistant, Luz, and started my xrays. Luz was friendly, quick, and got my xrays done without event. Again, perfect. Then Mr. Ahmadi came in and talked with me briefly, explaining my general dental condition, what he was going to do, and set to it. He was the man. Gave me lots of no nonsense advice, gave me a great cleaning, without violating my mouth, (even with my excessive tartar situation), and all the while threw on some music to distract me and just set the mood to get the job done. With the music it was like Team Zissou Dentistry. Good taste, amazing. It was hands down, the best dental experience I have ever had, and I was in the worst condition I had ever been in a dentsit's office. It was relatively affordable, quick, relatively painless, super clean and modern, just perfect. Will be back regularly. Really cannot recall such a pleasant dental experience ever before. 6 Stars. I've been a patient of Dr. Ahmadi's for several years now. He has done three implants for me and at least one sinus lift. (With all the periodontal procedures I've had in the past two and a half decades, I lose track of what all has been done.) I've always found Dr. Ahmadi's service to be first-rate - with excellent results. When a problem arose at one point, he attended to it promptly; all was satisfactorily resolved. Mine is a mouth full of issues and I'm a squeamish dental patient. Dr. Ahmadi is always personable and patient and clearly explains what's going on and what to expect. The office staff at Citi Dental Group is pleasant. The vibe in the office is relaxed ... and there's good music. (And the 12th floor office window has a great view of some beautiful buildings.) It all makes an unpleasant situation much more bearable. I can highly recommend Citidental and specifically Dr. Amir Ahmadi. read more
