We stayed for the whole weekend because we were going to the amusement park. Craig greeted me when I arrived and was very helpful with information about the campground and the town. The bathrooms were extremely nice for being a campground. The views were something too! If we came back to the area we will be staying here again!

Campsite - w/ fire pit and table

This is a very mixed campsite. The site itself is nice, and the included showers/flush toilets are a bonus that many campsites don't offer. Overall it has a hard pick between 2 or 3 stars. I'll let the photos speak for themselves of how nice the site is. The downsides are it's at best 1/5 of mile from I-70, without any sound barrier (we watched fire engines responding a crash the second morning we were there). Nighttime traffic noise definitely makes sleeping harder. The next negative is the old man who checked us in. He was nice at check in, and then yelled at us, and told us to "Stay on the trail" when my partner was tossing sleeping bags up a hill to me, this comment was followed with "what your doing is fine, but don't walk up up that hill." He then drove off. Very rude and and unnecessary confrontational.

Beautiful campsite that came to our rescue when our campsite on the east side of Glenwood Springs was placed under multiple flash flood warnings.

Per county rules,…read moreJetBoils ARE allowed but this campground told me I couldn't use them and suggested I get a cabin instead. So they're lying to try to make customers upgrade for an unnecessary cost. They should be embarrassed. If you don't want to allow JetBoils then say that but don't lie to make it sound like they're not allowed when the county says they're okay.

It was super easy to check in and they were kind enough to let us check in early (11:45am) They do offer cabin rentals, RV sites and tent sites. Our Site: We got a tent site and it was pretty big. A bit bigger than the rest and it was perfect for our party of 4. You can only bring one tent and it has to be on the tent pad so extra tents or any tents placed other than the tent pad are not allowed. Which was a huge bummer. We were 2 couples with 2 tents and had to purchase a bigger tent to fit all of us in it to fit on the pad. All in all we made it work. Parking: You have to register all vehicles that are staying in the campsite and only one car is allowed per site, which is somewhat of an inconvenience. Any extra vehicles are $5 more. We were told to park the extra vehicle in the extra parking spaces that were far away from our site. Bathrooms and Showers: They only have Male and Female bathrooms and showers an no gender neutral bathrooms or showers, so it can be very uncomfortable for masculine presenting women to go to the bathroom. They did say they had just remodeled the entire place so they completely missed the opportunity to be more inclusive. However, the bathrooms were very clean, and the showers were really nice. We did bring our own bathroom tent to avoid any type of uncomfortable encounters when having to use the little girls room and were told we could not have it bc they were trying to grow grass and any bodily fluids would be harmful to the soil. So we had to put our toilet away :( Each site has a fire pit and the camp ground offers wifi and a little convenient store. They do come around every other hour or so on their golf-cars selling fire wood and making sure everyone is following the rules. I honestly loved this place and would come back. The town's nearby are gorgeous and the staff here is super nice.

I cannot say enough about my experience…read more I booked last-minute accommodations after discovering how difficult it is to find a place to stay on a summer weekend in the Aspen/Glenwood area. I was simply hoping for a safe, comfortable place to rest before returning to work. Instead, I was welcomed with some of the kindest hospitality I've experienced in a long time. A special thank you to Chris Gomez, General Manager, and Andrea Benedict, Office Manager and Events Coordinator, whose warmth, professionalism, and genuine kindness made all the difference. They recognized my reservation, greeted me warmly, and surprised me with a complimentary upgrade to one of their beautiful luxury tent cabins. It completely changed my day. The luxury tent cabin is absolutely immaculate, beautifully decorated, air-conditioned, and thoughtfully designed from top to bottom. The photos online simply don't do these accommodations justice--they're even more beautiful in person. The stunning handcrafted king-size log bed immediately caught my eye, and it was one of the most comfortable nights of sleep I've had in a long time. Every detail has been carefully considered, creating the perfect balance between rustic mountain charm and modern comfort. After a long morning of driving through the mountains, it was exactly what I needed to truly rest, recharge, and prepare for another day on the road. What impressed me most wasn't just the accommodation--it was the people. Exceptional customer service is becoming harder to find, and Chris and Andrea reminded me what genuine hospitality looks like. They treated me like a valued guest, not just another reservation. As the owner of Lotus Bespoke Services, a luxury transportation company, I pay close attention to customer experience because it's the same standard I strive to provide every one of my own clients. This team exceeded my expectations in every way. Thank you for turning what could have been a stressful afternoon into one I'll remember for a very long time. I'll definitely be back, and I'll happily recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful, welcoming place to stay in the Glenwood Springs area. Sometimes it's the unexpected acts of kindness that become the highlight of a trip. Thank you for yours. -- Amira Borghese Owner, Lotus Bespoke Services
