We're visiting from Hawaii--a family of 5 (kids 3, 5, and 10) and after leaving Orlando, we…read morespontaneously drove to Anna Maria Island with no reservations. Everything was sold out, and after calling around with no luck, I finally found BridgeWalk on Yelp. Noah answered and was AMAZING from the start!!He helped us secure a last-minute weekend BridgeWalk and we drove over right away. As a mom, this meant everything to me--our youngest is on the spectrum, and he was completely calm and comfortable in the room. That rarely happens when we travel, so having a space that felt safe for him was huge. The room was spotless, the bathroom was super clean (we loved the shower and tub combo) and the enclosed balcony was such a nice touch. Every staff member from parking to front desk to housekeeping was kind, welcoming, and professional. The location is perfect! There areshops and restaurants downstairs, Daiquiri Deck across the street, mini golf for the kids, and the beach just steps away. They also provide beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels, which made everything so easy for our family. We loved it so much, we extended another night! As a mom who values comfort, cleanliness, and genuine service this place is a 10/10. We will absolutely be back.

Nice resort, cute pool, friendly staff. They clean everyday. Parking attendants are very efficient…read more This resort is right in the middle of everything you'd want nearby within walking distance. Beach is maybe 100 ft across the street. Bars everywhere. But I'd def stay here again. Bring ur own towels tho they only give a certain amount per day.

Close to the beach, thinks looked good. But then, the issues started. First, we were told checkout was at 10am. I emailed the 2 emails I was given to ask if we could get late checkout, and never got a response. Then, there was 2 TV's. One in bedroom, one in living room, and 3 remotes. 2 spectrum remotes and one TV remote. Neither spectrum remote did anything so we only had one remote for both TV's. I called the after hours number at 10pm on Sat and was told they would bring me one in the morning (which means they obviously had one on hand). I told them we were checking out in the morning but said he couldn't bring it until then. In other words, he didn't want to be disturbed on a Sat night TO DO HIS JOB!!!! Second, the front door had a blind inside the pane of glass and would not go down all the way. We had 2 girls sleeping in the living room and only way to stop people from looking in was to put something against the door. Finally, there in only one wall AC unit in the entire unit which is in bedroom, which means if you have people using the pullout bed, you have to leave the bedroom door open, so privacy is out the window. Considering how much competition there is in the area and lack of service we got, doubtful we would come back or recommend this place.

Table 2 chairs dresser and a comfy-swivel chair. It has 8 pillows i was extremely happy. Tile floors. Outside the have 2 chairs and table for every place. The have chairs to lounge in and sunbathing in. A gas grill. It's very quiet two places down even had coconuts in the trees. Its about a block and a half from the beach and a block and a half from the pier in the opposite direction. Yes your on an island. It's a very nice place definitely will be back.

As others have noted in their reviews, Ken and Jeff are constantly working to keep up this lovely family resort. It is clean and landscaped beautifully, and the rooms are just right! With a sitting area in our two bedroom, we enjoyed the recliner and couch as we watched movies in the evening. In our full kitchen, we stocked the refrigerator from the local Publix and made our breakfast and lunch, which we packed for the beach. Many guests chose to grill out as we saw when we would load up to go to a local restaurant for dinner, but we preferred eating out! On our first night at Hurricane Hanks restaurant down the road, we met up with a resident who offered us more ideas for restaurants for dinner. There's nothing like walking right out onto the beach to spend a morning watching the waves, seeing dolphins frolic, observing osprey catching their breakfast, and swimming in the water among schools of fish. Many of the guests knew each other from yearly vacations, and we have already made our reservation for next year! Anna Maria Island is quiet and family friendly. White Sands Resort offers shuffleboard and corn hole right next to the pool, but the best show is the sunset. On our first night, we were surprised to see how many lined the beach to see God's beauty, of course clapping at the end! Thank you to Ken, Jeff, Joy, and Esther for a wonderful stay. We wish you the best in the coming year, and we look forward to seeing you again!
